Kingdom Hearts II Final form can fly?

O.O I figured this out like a week ago and all my friends never knew because they weren't the one's that read every single ability under Sora, let alone on one of his drive forms.

But yeah. Final Sora makes like KH1 and total busts out in "flying".

I had no idea. I was just bored that day and thought, "Hey, I wonder what exacly Final form has that makes it so wickedly cool."

Did everybody know this?

 

It's called glide, and yeah we all know about it... lol.

 

Pretty common knowledge. I have glide MAX.

 

No no, see, I know about glide. He can fffllyyyy. Glide is when you're gliding all over the floor. You press circle once then hold it down a second time, he literally "catches air currents" and starts flying on his stomach.

 

Oh, you mean when he hovers on the spot.

That technique is useful when you're trying to pivot in mid-air. I like to consider it an 'advanced techique', but it isn't really. But yeah, it's a cool position.

 

Or at Hollow Bastion, were you can fly if you jump off the cliff...lol.

I don't exacly know what technique in Final form has Sora "pivot/hover" but if you're talking about one of the Final form attacks, it's not what I'm talking about. And it isn't a position either.

I'm sure someone remembers back in KH1 where Sora gets the ability to fly around from Peter Pan land, right? That's what he does; you get major air, then hold circle for maximum fly-age.

Anyone know yet?

I remember that, but Sora can't do that in this game. He does have glide.

If you hold it, and don't move, you won't touch the ground, but you won't fly unless you move.

Technically, he is not flying...just gliding.

The reason why Sora can fly is because he believed he could fly without Tinker Bell.

 

actually if u level up final form enough and just play aroung with it, you should have that ability. I don't have it but my friend who is a kh2 fanatic does. if u press O u will jump vert high, in midair u press O again u should shoot up agian. beleive it or not, that's sora's way to fly.

 

Right. So he can fly. It's technically called gliding, you're right. But I didn't want to get it confused with the gliding you do on the ground, you know?

And yeah, I did level up my Final Form but that way of shooting up (XD haha, Sora shoots up) is actually the next level of Air Recovery. It's a shield as well.

And yes, after you "shoot up", apparently if you leveled up, you can glide for a large distance.

Ok, so, to make myself feel better, not exacly everyone knew this?

 

Don't worry. Some of us didn't even pay attention to Final Form until they had defeated Xemnas and went to replay their file.

Oh yeah I know this. (When I was battling Xemnas because Sora gets glide xD) Well when Xemnas threw me the buildings I was gliding and then I used it again and Sora's all floating and looking down I know what ya mean. xD

That's when you're fighting with Xemnas and the buildings. In that part, you do fly. I'm talking about when Sora uses his Final Form and if you level up, you can get the ability to glide long distances.

Btw, when flying with the buildings and he looks down and seems that he's sort of floating there, actually you've just stopped flying altogether and are currently on the verge of falling.

 

He doesn't exatly fly. It's called glide and yes I knew this already.

 

It's not that Sora can fly it's more like he is falling in style. :p
