Ah, Square Enix. Using that strategy again to keep things hush-hush about the good-looking games in order to create hype and build anticipation. Well, hopefully a leaked vid will appear eventually.

Perhaps an upcoming public trailer (say at Jump Fiesta '10) will feature these gameplay clips as well...

Thank god. The only thing I dislike about FFXIII so far is Fang's voice (is she Aussie or Cockney? It's really confusing me) and that everything is on a straight path with no need for vehicles, to be honest though I think that a in-plot reason why they didn't use airships was because
They crash or can't control a single one they use >>

Fang has the best voice of them of all, mannn.
But I agree with the rest of this.
The straight path was so annoying.
They could have at least let me ride an Eidolon down the path.

Random fact that you'll never have a use for: I'm not fond of Australian or Cockney accents. Genie From Downunder pissed me off so much I gained a hate for both (even if the cockney accent was a bad imitation).
Though, I thought about "Your summon turns into a *insert gesault mode here*, why not freaking use it as a ride".
Though, there is the rare event of those Pulse giant robot things you can ride.

Fang's voice was awesome! ..she is awesome! It was Vanile for me, but she grew on me.

Well, there is always the Chocobo in the later chapter. That does make a nice change, and the theme is fantastic.

    Do want.

DO WANT SO HARD. F**K YEAH AIRSHIPS.

Although I honestly don't mind the linearity of FFXIII. It reminds me of X, which I loved to death.

    ^This

While I haven't played FFXIII yet, I don't have anything against linearity when I usually play a Final Fantasy game, I get so engrossed in the story that I usually forget everything else.

I personally don't mind however it will be sad seeing we'll probably have to wait another year for the 360 version to be made.

If they did make a 360 version of Versus, I'd be so happy. I don't have a PS3 and I can't even afford one so this will make me feel relieved if they did make one. But you have a point. If it were to be made, we'd probably have to wait even longer now for the game.

I honestly don't mind a port to 360. I have a PS3 and a 360 so it doesn't really affect me at all. I do think it is fair that 360 owners don't have to buy a new console just to play one game they REALLY want to play. Either way, I'm still getting it.

I know this sounds harsh but I don't want this to be made for 360. If it's made for the 360 too, they will have to downgrade the graphics in the PS3 version which, as we saw in FFXIII, was very limiting. Imagine if FFXIII had been able to use the PS3's full potential! Also, the PS3 needs some exclusives and I have been saying for a while that FFvsXIII would be the game that made the PS3. If it comes out for X360 then ...

Sorry to sound harsh to Xbox users, I just really want this to an exclusive, you get a lot of games that we don't.

Yeah they really do take their time, not as much as valve though *coughhalflifetwoepisodethreecough*

Either way though, as long as it's a good game I'll be happy, I'd just rather have it sooner, with better graphics, than later.

Versus was the whole reason I chose PS3 over 360...Oh well, I'm still glad I did it.

But I agree with libregkd and clawtooth: just release the game.

Because FFXIII wasn't one of the best looking games ever made that was made entirely for the PS3, then completely rebuilt for the 360 meaning that the 360 version had absolutely no effect on the PS3 version.....

Seeing as going multi-platform helped sales for FFXIII, I'm not surprised that they are looking into multi-platform for vXIII.
