Great photos of the games, now I know there's more than one main character in FFXIII and Verses.

 

Nice pics. We even have gotten the chance to see Lightning's armpit, as the poster felt inclined to tell us. I can't wait for this game! It's looking great so far.

Huh.. reading the comments people have posted there, I have to agree. Noctis and Stella both look really boring. Where are the trademark awesome clothes? I have a feeling Versus will be so much different to the other final fantasys...
Where are the complex original character designs? D=

 

Probably in the wash...as they should be.

Great find, libregkd. I was kinda hoping for gameplay screens but these will do for now.
The characters look less flashy indeed but I don't mind that. It's better this way, considering Versus' setting.

 

Nothing against this ffxiii game....but wtf???? the guy looks almost exactly like vincent valentine, and the girl is a blonde aerith!!!! she even stands the same as aerith!!!omfg i much prefer the other ffxiii with lightning and snow

Nomura already stressed repeatedly he was going for realism. He wants this game to feel like it's taking place in a present day world that we can identify with.

Nomura also said in earlier interviews that the outfit Noctis was wearing in the first few trailers would greatly change when the game actually comes out. This is a bit disappointing because I thought it was an awesome outfit, but be prepared for an exclusion.

lol, well I'm sure Noctis won't be wearing a suit for the entire game, but Nomura explicitly said the outfit in the first few trailers would change. It's probably still there in some shape or form, but if we are to go by Nomura's word, then it won't look 100% the same.

 

im guess that there at some party....thats why there wereing...not cool clothes..

Plot(note very little about the game has been released since E3 and im sure some of this stuff is subject to change)

Square Enix representatives have commented that Versus may be the darkest Final Fantasy game yet.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII revolves around a prince named Noctis Lucis Caelum, who is the last heir to an unnamed kingdom in which the last Crystal is kept. Because of increasingly apparent modernization in contrast to neighboring nations, Noctis' kingdom has isolated itself from the outside world. The game is set as two nations battle each other for dominance and for the last Crystal held by Noctis' kingdom. The game has been said to initiate at the "clearing" of a long Cold War between warring nations that revolved around these crystals.​

another cool thing, not only has this game apperenty been started in 03...but along with the people that make KH, the people that did Advent Childeren are working on this too
