I'm hoping that the PC version happens anyway (I'm almost certain it will with how the interviews sounded) and that it happens before the end of the year, but that's probably unrealistic. Maybe spring of next year ._.

Well, now I want the Deluxe edition of the game.

    Oh yeah, price comparison here:
    Day-1 $59.00
    Deluxe $89.99
    Ultimate Collectors Edition $269.99

I was going to order the collector's edition, but after seeing that price, no way Jose. I'll stick with the Deluxe and just get my films

Same. That's getting the point of just getting another console for the Ultimate, if not a Wii U.

PS4 and XONE Collector's editions sold out within an hour and a half. For the UK I think they already sold out too just as quickly. I should have bought more than one. >> I know it's a jerk thing to do but I could use the extra money.

Anyways, if there's going to be a PC edition of the game, it's not coming out until after the console launch.

Not quite as quickly as an hour and a half, but it definitely went fast. It's no longer advertised on their website unless you search for it.

And I'm so glad I check this page this morning, otherwise I wouldn't have known it existed! I ordered that bad boy so fast! It's a crap load of money of a Collector's Edition but stuff like this has a nice resell value if I decide I no longer want it.

You actually got it? Well done being one of 30,000 people in the world to get it. Honestly, if I had about $300 more right now, and I got more than $219 every paycheck, I might have tried to buy it. But I just bought the Deluxe Edition a minute ago, which cost $124.99 for overnight shipping. Taking it out of my savings, but I'll be able to save it back up by September

If you have Amazon Prime, you can get the Deluxe for $72: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01DJPA9YE
If you don't have Prime it's $90, not sure what the shipping would come out to. PSA for anyone looking to get it and for you if it's not too late to get out of your current order.

I still have sour feelings about the game but I like saving people money.

I didn't know amazon was doing the deluxe edition yet. Maybe I can cancel my order and save a few bucks.

Also, has anyone played the Platinum Demo yet? It's pretty enjoyable, and you get to see some of the eidolons, which are f***ing fantastic to see even for a few seconds, and they are the coolest ones so far just because of the size perspective.

And that final fight is fun to redo over and over just for the joy of it

Edit: After looking at it, I almost want to keep my order from Square Enix just for those 5 silly postcards. They just look so nice

Sorry, still got pokemon on the brain. Only 1/3 of the way through the episodes.

Anyways, it's been done a lot of times before with big name stuff and getting side things like films and tv shows. Kind of like how Supernatural had an anime series but all the big names weren't in it except for Jared Padelecki. Plus, maybe the actors have other things they have to do and can't do the voices in the game. I'm not saying it's weird, but there's always a reason.

Sure, yes, hugely successful and popular media often gets spinoffs. But games that already have an absurdly long development cycle and has cost the company millions? Was it really necessary to sink even more time and money into a CGI movie, especially considering Square's previous ventures into the medium?

Like I've said, I'm sour about the game and that's definitely affecting my opinion. But there's just so much unnecessary **** going on here and I really wonder what Square's game plan is (the Audi? Really? And are they even selling it?).

I'm also weirded out about the actor change like Misty is, but if it's like MGS3 to MGSV, maybe the characters are different enough???

Whatevs I'm still excited for all this new Fantasy.

Also about the song choice for the trailer...I don't remember hearing Leona Lewis in XIII (then again I haven't touched that game in more than 4 years) so I'm not too worried about XV lacking good music. It's just to get the appeal of a bigger audience.

Uematsu was the primary composer for FFX, FFXI and FFXIV, actually, but I digress.

I don't really see the point of casting Sean Bean, Lena Heady and Aaron Paul if they're only able to get them for Kingsglaive. It seems like an egregious inconsistency just for the sake of getting star power for a movie that's only going to appeal to people who want to play the game in the first place.
