    I do not own a Playstation 3, so I won't be able to express an opinion further than the basics of the game.
    For now, the only thing I can only say is that it looks more realistic than any previous final Fantasy game. I am considering that this game might be the one to change the facts of Final Fantasy games once and for all and begin bulding a new, original and interesting road for the Final Fantasy series.

    They sure are taking their sweet time with this. Though, the monster does look awesome (given the poor quality). Has there been any details about the gameplay?

    I get the feeling that they stopped actually working on this for a while. I also think we won't be hearing about Agito until after this one is released.

    I think I'll just leave this nearly seven minute long trailer here. I thought of making another thread for it but there's already enough Versus threads. >> I'm liking how it all looks and I think I even saw some teleporting in the gameplay. Nomura had said that he was unsure if the teleporting would make it into the final game or not as it was planned to have Noctis teleport wherever a weapon of his was. I hope it does since that'll be really awesome. 8D

    Just watched this and it looks fantastic! It's really hard not to get excited about this! Hopefully someone will add subs to it soon.

    I'm glad this isn't coming out soon, I'd be too busy to play it xD At least it's looking really good so far. I was satisfied once I saw that it was like KH but you can change to the other party members, then it took a step up when he climbed inside a mech.

    Am I the only one that thinks that the character types described here are a little typical? I know it's hard to describe a character in a single sentence but Noctis basically has the same traits as a typical Shonen hero. I'm just hoping Nomura is being vague because the game is still in development, rather than the character being a little flat.

    that was fantastic! I am so excited to play this game.

    The game play looks super unique and cool! and the graphics! MAN! they looked so real!

    however...at the end i was expecting square to say "Coming Soon...we swear" or "Coming to the PS3...Eventually"

    but...lets hope it comes out within this year or early EARLY next year.

    The main character of Final Fantasy versus XIII, brings an aura of bad boy to the Final Fantasy continuum. Nomura was interviewed and responded: (paraphrased)

    "In the past, protagonists were not given strong personalities while distinctive ones were delegated to the supporting cast, but Noctis's idiosyncrasies mark a departure from this tradition. Although his character is said to be hard to define given his complexities, a good measure of his personality can be sensed from his first meeting with Stella. Noctis hides his shyness underneath a façade of coolness in front of her, which creates a cold and unsociable impression. However, he smiles and acts more openly around his friends."

    My question is this; What English voice actor do you think would be perfect for Noctis?

    My response- Hayden Christensen: he was a great actor for the 2008 American science fiction film, Jumper. Using that kind of dark, personae, i think it would be perfect for Noctis.

    I would like to hear your thoughts for Noctis, and if you so desire, the other characters as well.

    I really want Johnny Bosch in a Square Enix game, but I wouldn't choose him for Noctis. I actually agree with Hayden Christensen (Does he do voice acting?). I'd say Jesse McCartney but for a younger Noctis (flashbacks maybe?).
    Alessandro Juliani (L) would be decent, too.

    I dunno, i know Christensen is well known for Starwars: Episode II and III. But they did make cartoons on the clone wars and he was a part of that so i guess he does voice acting... as for McCartney, i'd say he should use a slightly different pitch. I can't imagine young Noctis sounding like Roxas. (Kinda how Osment did for Vanitas, and still made it sound awesome.) As for Bosch... i honestly don't know... maybe.

    I also have to agree with Christenesn for Noctis. I loved the whole dark yet sensitive side thing, but I hope Nomura is correct when he says that he will be a new kind of hero and not some spin off of Cloud or Lightning.

    I wonder why Nomura likes trolling us this bad. ;_; I looked at the source(and their source) and it doesn't seem like it's a "lengthy" interview from what I saw. Hm. I wonder if Square will hold another one of their own little events and show Versus XIII soon after TGS. I'm really hoping they've kept Noctis's teleporting ability.
