Final Fantasy XIII: Slaves of Fate

Lightning snarled at Omega and pointed her gunblade at him, it was still in gun form so she could shoot him instead of taking time to lob off her head, "Who are you!"

Akira watched omega after being scolded by Lightning and false hope renewed by Snow, she felt confused.

 

Mia got in front of Jenny and pointed her weapon at Omega. "What do you want with this girl?" She asked, demanding. Mia just felt something bad about this person.

 

"Snapshot of the future."

"AAHHHHH!" Jenny fell back as she screamed, her camera rolling from her hand onto the ground a few feet from her. She quickly raised a hand and pointed to the newcomer, her finger pointing directly to the scorched brand over his left eye as she recognized him from earlier. "He's the---the...the Crystal l'Cie who attacked me!" She yelled, her voice trembling.

Snow stepped in front of Jenny and pointed to the newcomer as he took one step forward. "So you're a Crystal l'Cie, huh? What do you want with Jenny?" He obviously wasn't going to let Omega get the girl.

Mia knelt to her and looked at Omega. "So, that's a Crystal l'Cie, huh?!" Mia readied her weapon and ran to him, getting ready to attack. 'Time to show Snow and Lighting what I'm made of.' She whispered to herself and attacked Omega.

 

Ryou's eyes widened at this newfound enemy and saw Mia go in for a attack. "She's going to get killed!" He through as he withdrawn his daito and knew he couldn't exactly stop Mia, Crystal I'Cie were far more powerful than the Behemoth they've struck down and he looked to Snow and Light briefly, hoping one of them had a plan.

"Doesn't she even remember that Crystal I'Cie are very hard to handle, even if you were a I'Cie?" he thought to himself.

 

Omega casually strolled towards Jenny. "Nice to see you again, Snow, even though we've only met once. But you're not my target at the moment," he replied to Snow, ignoring his question entirely. As Mia attacked, he switched to a defensive state in a yellow flash and effortlessly evaded the blow and countered with a swift roundhouse to the back of her head with enough force to send her flying. Immediately after, Omega changed back to his offensive state in a red flash. He snapped his fingers, calling three high-speed comets to rain down from the sky in Mia's direction. Now only a few feet from Snow and Jenny, he turned to them. "Let's get to the point, since I don't have much time. Jenny, was it? What's more important to you: Life?" Omega reached out his hand, gesturing her to hand over something. "Or the pictures you take in life?" he sternly asked. Dark wisps of the Banish spell began to swirl around his outstretched hand.

 

Lightning grabbed Mia and pulled her out of the way of the comets. Sheilding her from any that would've hit her. She glared at Omega, "Hey! Don't you touch her! Akira!"

Akira stepped in front of Jenny, though she was terrified one of the first things Light had taught her was to never show her fear. She stood and glared at Omega, "I don't know who you are but if you're the one who attacked Jenny, I'm not going to let you hurt her again." Akira pulled out Lionheart and held it at her side.

 

"You would sacrifice yourself...for a simple camera?" Omega said to himself quietly. He sighed. "So be it."

"Flare."

Upon saying the word, the entire world seemed to dim. All nearby light was focused into one point: Where Akira is standing. The light grew brighter and brighter until it blinded everyone. All of this in three seconds, there's very little time to react. Whoever's targeted is sure to be immolated from the intense heat and light.

 

OOC: Could use a recap O.o

 

Ryou moved an arm over his eyes instinctively as the Flare spell took effect and he simply had to say one word to get that attention and hopefully he'll react. "Snow!" He called out, if anyone could take on that Flare it would be him.

"Okay Ryou, think back on what you've been told about these guys, they have different stances as indicated by their color and if I recall, there was Offense, Defense and Healing from Raines." He thought to himself.

 

Mia gasped for air, letting go of her weapon. She wondered if she had only proved herself a fool in front of Snow and Lighting. "Sorry...... Snow..... Looks like..... I have to wait..... a bit longer......" She fell unconscious, falling to the ground.

Appearance: 5'8 girl with blood red hair, with green eyes and a tan completion.
Personality: Head strong, she loves to have fun, but takes serious very seriously! she loves her friends and would do anything to protect them. She is quiet at first, but then she warms up and gets crazy!
Biography: She grew up on Coccon, and always idoled Lighting, which inspired her to become a Sanctum when she got older, but she loved to see Lightning. Of course the Sanctum days were short when she got into them... because she would have to fight Lightning, so she choose not to and left. Then the fall of Coccon, and she was sent to Grand Pulse, where she lives now like the rest of Coccon.

Other: She is a Pyromaniac! Literally... her body is flame resistent (sp), as is her clothes. A bit of a burt... oh! and she is... part cyborg... yah... XD

 

OOC: Omega's in Oerba to dispose the camera since it contains evidence of the l'Cie army heading for Cocoon. So far, he's attacked Mia and is currently casing Flare on Akira.

 

OOC: Ok thanks. Hope you don't mind if I jump in and attach Omega.

 

OOC: Go ahead. Also everyone's pretty much blinded from the light of the Flare spell.

BIC: At the sound of the chain flying through the air, Omega caught the bladed chain, which wrapped itself around the arm that Banish was leaking out of. Didn't think anyone would've been able to see in that light... His arm began to lacerate as the grip tightened, canceling Banish altogether. Flare, on the other hand, had already been casted a second ago and should damage Akira sometime soon.

"I better take a chocobo of my own just in case you have another one flocking for the hills. If not you might leave us stranded and we will have to go take a walk all the way there instead and I want to get there just in time so the party doesn't end without us."
She said patted down the bill of a paler colored chocobo who's feathers were the color of vanilla. It warked in a low tone down at her and offered her it's side so Freyja could hoist herself up onto it's back and sunk her hands into the tuft of feathers around the back of it's neck so she could keep a proper hold since there were no bridals or saddle to use.
"Sounds like a terrible place to visit. I'm glad those fifthly sky dwellers will get what they deserve."

 

Mya managed to cover her eyes before the flare so she only sustained slight color differiation. That didn't stop her from running up to Omega and stabbing it in the back.

 

Sorry guys, I only have time for this quick post. Graxe knows what to do after the fight. I'll be back either tomorrow night or Monday morning with an actual post~

 

There's a few things wrong with this. I don't think you read the entire first post. And the flame-resistance and the cyborg thing...I'm not accepting those lol PM me if you want help with it though

Snow quickly changed to a Sentinel role as he ran past Akira. He stopped, holding his arms up, provoking Omega to change targets to him. The plan worked and he got the full blast of the flare....well, most of it. A large amount of sparks flew from Snow's rock hard body as he stumbled back. One of the sparks landed right on Jenny's camera and set it aflame. "What did you mean by that?" Snow demanded, oblivious to the camera's demise. "Do I know you?" He stepped over Mia's body, making sure that she was safe from battle and hoped to distract Omega as Mya attacked him from behind.

Leo stood by Jenny, his Gunblade held firmly in his hand. It wasn't that he was scared to fight Omega, but he knew he couldn't do anything. Just watching the fight showed that mere humans won't be able to do much against the Crystal l'Cie. Hell, PSICOM was an army with state of the art weapons. He was a kid with an old Gunblade. If anything, he would at least try to protect Jenny if Omega neared her. Once the spark hit the camera, Leo gasped. The pictures of the Crystal l'Cie! He thought, realizing the evidence was now gone.

"My camera!" Jenny yelled. She didn't think about the picture of the l'Cie army like Leo, but instead, she thought about all her other pictures. The camera was like another limb to her. It was her most prized possession in the world. She crawled to it, an intense hatred of Omega building up in her stomach, and grabbed it once the flames disappeared. "No..." She whispered as she held it in her hands.


"As long as I have a want. I have a reason for living. Satisfaction is death."

"You have no idea," Cid assured Freyja as he whipped his Chocobo forward. It gave off a strange trill, as if it disapproved of its new rider. Just like all the others, he thought as it took off towards the north. "Just wait until you see what we have in store for that cesspool," he grinned as the wind brushed against his face.

OOC: Alright, I thought of a way to do Paradigms. I wasn't initially going to do it, but I thought of something for it. Crystal l'Cie, Snow, Lightning, and anyone else that isn't a l'Cie won't have to worry about it. Snow and Lightning's apprentices are the ones this applies to. For now, just start thinking about the three main roles you want for your character.
