Uhh I'm still not too sure how I'm gonna step back in here. I guess I'll stay out until I could see a point where I could jump back in.

 

OOC: @heartless_angel, that's fine, I got a bit lost, too xD I think Argent's about to send an entire army to fight the l'Cie. You can have Mya just start fighting one after they come. Don't worry about making complete sense in here about what she's been up to >>

Cid's body started to shiver at the sight. "Oh you're bringing an army! Argent, I think I love you!" He yelled excitedly. "This is going to be fun," he whispered as the Shivas started to glow, "Unfortunately, I don't have to stand a chance. My friends do," he said, emphasizing friends as he looked at Grey and the other l'Cie behind him. "They'll take care of your army, but you? You're mine, pretty boy." The Shivas shattered, disappearing into the realm of Eidolons so Cid can have Argent to himself. Cid stuck out both palms straight out and his chain scythe appeared, a handle in each hand. "Let's see what you're made of, Brigadier General!"

 

Mia twirled her spear in the air and stood her ground, staring at the army. She didn't mind that Angel wasn't a l'Cie and Cid didn't know it, but she knew they're going to going to need a lot of help to fight against the army. Touching Snow's bandanna for a moment, Mia looked at the other l'Cie, and asked, "You guys ready for this?"

 

ooc: I'm not sure where to add Light in anywhere here...So we're gonna hang back and chill until the fleet gets here. sorry I'm a little...out of it. I've been going through a lot of stuff lately.

 

OOC: YESH TIME TO JUMP IN 8D

BIC: Mya turned and saw the incoming army headed towards them. She walked and stood next to Mia. Well I always liked a big fight. Don't you think? The more the merrier like I always say. I say we won't go down without a fight. She pulled out her gunblade and got into a fighting stance.

 

When the Adamanchelid fell, Byron had put away his weapons; a pair of matching, long knives, but he redrew them now that the reinforcements had been called in by the Cavalry leader.
"Well crap, I can't ditch you guys when you helped me already. I guess I'm with you guys." he said, still not having properly noticed that most of those he stood alongside were from Oerba itself. For the same reasons, he had failed to realise that some of them might recognise him, despite not having been in his hometown for almost two years.

"Generous of you." Ren replied, ejecting the spent clips from his weapon and standing ready again. "Though we might be more grateful if we knew who you were."
He wasn't about to look a gift-horse in the mouth, but that didn't mean he would trust the person straight off. He had helped them take down the young Adamantoise, however, so he'd earned temporary trust at least.
"Look, I'd be happy to tell you my life story, but right now? Don't think it's the best time."
"...true enough, but we'll hold you to it." he accepted, as he shifted into his Ravager paradigm again and stood beside Mya in preparation of the forces that threatened to loom down on them.
"So what are we doing? We are gonna fight this, right?" he asked nobody in particular.

 

"What the hell...?" Omega muttered as he watched the airships descend into town. "Just as things were going to get fun... Playtime's over, Linegia. Go do as you wish. I have work to do," he said to her before quitting the field on foot. On his way to the main group, while powering down, Blood Sword started to shake in his hand. In response he grabbed the blade with his free hand and spoke to it lovingly, "Patience, my crimson blade. There will be something for you to feast on soon enough. Just look at all of those ships in the sky..." Thinking about all of the lives each airship contained sent shivers down his spine. Omega took a deep breath to contain his excitement, but couldn't hold in a grin. "Yes, what a great feast this will be."

 

Jaden looked on in awe at all the ships.
And then he smirked stepping next to the others. "And here I thought we wouldn't have a challenge."
He spun both of his swords around and got into position. "Now these are the kinds of odds that I like."

Linegia flew forward as Omega fled, grabbing him by the shoulder instantly and throwing him back towards where they had been fighting before.
"Sorry, I can't let you do that." she chirped. "Cid gave US orders you know." she said rather happily which was strange... considering how she had been before. And the use of us... when she was surely referring to herself.
...And why did you just have to take control... Linegia stated bluntly in her own mind.
Sorry sis, I didn't have much of a choice. the other voice giggled.
He's mine... just make sure you don't kill him.
Oh... fine. I won't if it makes you happy.
...I can hurt him though right? she asked, clearly displeased at the fact he had made Linegia snap.
Yes. she sighed in her mind. Make sure you do.
"Yay!" she shouted out loud.
"Come on MegMeg!" she said, apparently calling him by a new nick name she had just come up with.
"The fun is only just starting!" she said with the enthusiasm of a child. "I'll teach you to play nicely with others."

 

Mya shrugged and shifted into her Synergist form."I suppose whoever takes out the least cooks dinner tonight? If anyone is up for it..." She added Haste and Bravery to her friends."We're not going down without a fight right?"

 

Mia smiled and changed to her Commando role. "I'm willing to take down every and each one of those Cavalry soldiers for the true hero." She spoke a silent pray as she looked at Snow's bandanna and looked at the soldiers. Angel smiled and gripped her rod, standing on the other side of Mia.

"But cutting you into pieces will be so much funner!" Cid yelled as he threw the right blade into the air, grabbed the chain, and started to twirl it rapidly. While it was considered 'primitive' among most weapons these days, it was still a highly advanced weapon. In fact, the chain was able to extend and contract in order to suit Cid's reach. And that's exactly what he did. "Say cheese!" He roared as he swiped his arm quickly, sending the right scythe into a vertical slash over Argent. As soon as Argent dodged, the scythe embedded itself into the dirt. Cid dove forward and pulled, using it as a zipline, while slashing towards Argent with his other blade horizontally.

 

Omega laid on the ground for a moment before rising back to his feet in less than a second. He covered his mouth as he yawned. "Why don't I show you the real use of Reverse Polarity, hm?" A white circle appeared under the each of them. "Usually, this is a function specifically for machines. But on very rare occasions there's a l'Cie that can learn this for defensive use. Don't try escaping it. You're already locked in." In a flash, they switched positions. "And there we go. Now if you'll excuse me, my sword has been feeling a bit parched for the past few centuries now. And seeing how there's a massive blood bank in town, you'll know where I'll be." Omega fled the scene again, this time flying off. Should Linegia follow...well, she wanted to play, didn't she? The least he could do was oblige for a bit.

 

Lightning felt an old sorrow well up in her heart. She wished her brand was changing again...the pain would've taken her mind off the anguish she felt. Hope...Sazh...Vanille...Fang...Snow...is this the future we carved? How can this be....our destiny... I couldn't help it...I couldn't change it at all... Light dropped her gunblade on the ground, it made a hollow clang as it hit the ground and she walked slowly toward the oncoming Calvery. "Forgive me..."

"If you want to live," Cid yelled as the arrow struck his back, "Yoooouuu," he groaned the mild pain as he said his word, "Better not let the Calvary turn you into Chocobo food!" He yelled it to all other l'Cie as he started twirling both chain scythes. "Tell me, Mr. Brigadier General," he spoke to Cid, "Do you think you can win? And what is winning to you?"

 

Jaden stepped forwards and moved in front of Lightning, blocking her path.
His back was still to her. "Come on Lightning...
You don't need to be forgiven. This is far from over." he then turned his head. "You are living proof that one doesn't have to accept their fate.
You've done it once, and you can do it again.
And..." he paused as he turned his head back towards the oncoming cavalry.
"I don't know about everyone else, but I don't intend to quit fighting against mine yet.
I'd much prefer to die fighting." he then smirked, looking back at her one more time. "Of course, I don't intend to die yet."
And then unknowingly to him, he made two quotes word for word that Snow had used in the past. "Since when have heroes ever needed plans?
Heroes never die. C'mon, we got a world to save." then, he took off running towards the oncoming Calvalry.

The girl was confused by Omega's actions...
she wondered why he had used a technique to switch locations with her, when they had been relatively close to each other.
It hardly seemed worth it... then she realised her thoughts were distracting her and letting him get away.
Maybe that had been his intention?
Still... she was getting distracted by that thought now.
And that one.
And that.
Are you going to go after him? Linegia asked.
"Huh? Oh yeah!" she chirped as she took off after Omega quickly.
Catching him again, she grabbed him by the shoulder and threw him into the ground, again. "Tag! You're it!" she chirped happily, before flying towards the ground and sitting... literally sitting on top of Omega.
"Unless you kill us, you won't ever reach them." she told him. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." she added, and part of this side of her seemed genuine. It was like she was a different person.
Linegia sighed in her own mind, if such a thing was possible. I thought you were going to hurt him? she asked, to remind the other.
"Huh? Oh yes, I intend to. But you have the more painful abilities."
Improvise.
"Hmm... Mm'kay!" she chirped, and then she cast Holy on Omega.

 

Lightning watched him, This isn't happening....how am I the one needing an apprentice to remind me of my will. "I'm no hero..." Lightning scowled at herself and thought, Coward before following Jaden. "It's a good thing I don't need my weapon to fight Calvary soldiers."

 

"Naivete and innocence. Such is the mind of youth."
"Who needs a plan when you have me?!" Leo yelled at the top of his lungs as his Eidolon-ATV flew a building, having used a demolished one as a ramp, and over Lightning and the l'Cie. Even though his face was still hidden by his mask, he figured they should recognize him. "Taste the brimstone!" He yelled as the horns of Belias' all enflamed. He pulled his Gunblade out of the holster and slashed, only to see that Belias' horns were all attached to the blade, making the weapon bigger than himself. And yet...it feels light? A grin broke through, though no one could see it, as the ATV and its rider started to fall. "Hell...." He pointed the weapon straight up and the flames seemed to converge into one large ball. "On.." He slammed the ball into the ground, right before landing himself between the l'Cie and the Calvary, and a huge explosion took place, "EARTH!" Flames shot out from the back of Belias' ATV mode and Leo and his Eidolon flew at top speed through the army with Leo slashing constantly. "Holy Etro..." he whispered as Belias turned to ash and disappeared. Still having the momentum, Leo hit the ground and rolled, but he felt no pain. He stood up, turned around, and waited until the smoke clear. He could feel the heat coming from his attack all around. His mask was still on, but it soon turned to ash as well. "Now, Lightning..." he said as the smoke cleared and he found himself surrounded by the Calvary (though their number was greatly diminished by his surprise attack), "Wanna give me a hand?" He grinned and raised Heretic, his faithful Gunblade, and readied himself for the army.

Cid grimaced as the arrow cut through his body. Not only did it pierce him, but it flew right through, leaving a gaping hole below his shoulder. Before he could do anything, one of the other l'Cie who had been absent for some time reappared on a newly acquired Eidolon. The flaming attack happened behind Cid, a mere inches, and burnt his back, but he simply grimaced some more. "Better than l'Cie? Look at that, one of them just took out a good number of your army," he teased while adding to himself though he could have taken out at least half to make things easier...Cid dropped his chain scythes, no longer wanting to use them. "Better than l'Cie? The only thing short of fal'Cie that are better are more l'Cie, specifically me."His body started to shine in the sunlight, though he didn't crystallize. "You? You're nothing more than my punching bag!" There was a flash and Cid was inches away from Argent, his hand on the Brigadier General's blade. "No weapons, okay?" He asked as he pulled the sword out of Argent's hand with lightning speed and sent flying into a soldier's back. "Just fists," as he said it, his other hand clenched and was thrust towards Argent's stomach. "From now on, no magic either I'll be fair!"
