Mya yelped and fell to the floor as the adamenchield hit the floor. As sbe got back up, she saw Grey arrive with Fenrir. At the moment, she was glad. If he was alive then Leo would be alive as well. But this wasn't the time.

Lightning backed up. Her head ached with memories from the sight of the Shiva Sisters. Of her leaving Snow to fend for himself and free Serah from the ground in Lake Bresha....of trying to leave Hope behind and then fighting her own Eidolin....refusing Bartandelous' need for them to do as their focus required...and finally the last severe memory she had was fighting Orphan and learning the truth...Seeing Serah's smile as she hugged Snow and realizing she had the rest of her free life to do as she pleased. Lightning dropped her gunblade and touched her head. Time being in crystal stasis had left her ageless...her mission to explore the rest of Pulse...to find her real purpose in the world...

Akira ran to Jaden's aid, "Jaden! Are you alright?

OOC: Graxe, I think we should start leaving other Final Fantasy games' worlds' and features out of this. It's getting to the point where you can pull anything out of your ass. I don't mind the Void as long as you don't abuse it and I actually want you to keep all versions of Omega Weapon, but leave the other FF games out of this, please.

"Naivete and innocence. Such is the mind of youth."
Leo couldn't help but grind his teeth. Is that...Oerba?! He thought, alarmed at the sight of smoke in the distance Grey had rode off into. With his right hand still on the handlebar of his Gestalt mode, he moved his left hand to face and moved the mask off of his face. The sudden color of the world disoriented him as his pupils dilated for a moment, but then it was clear: Oerba was on fire. "Damn it, what now?!" He yelled angrily as he put the mask back on. "Go faster! Belias! Speed the hell up!" As he said, he felt the shift in his Eidolon's Gestalt mode. Normally, Belias had legs that paled in size compared to his body. They resembled ram legs. In his Gestalt mode, they had literally rolled into themselves and became the hind wheels. Now, they were uncurling . Leo looked behind him to see the hooves of Belias' legs aimed backwards, its knees bent. The Eidolon's rear end started to lower towards the ground with no wheels to hold it up. "Hey, hey, what are you-" He was interrupted by the sudden torrents of flames coming from the hooves. "Holy shi-" The kickback from the sudden gain in speed almost knocked Leo back. Now that's more like it, he thought, grinning as Belias' Shooting Star shot the Eidolon forward in a red glow.

As long as I have a want. I have a reason for living. Satisfaction is death.

"Hell yeah!" Cid sent throwing a fist into the air. His sudden outburst almost the Shiva sisters jump in surprise. "You made it submit, you little *******," he told Grey, excitedly. "There's hope for you l'Cie yet!" He stopped when he realized what Grey was implying: that Cid wasn't Snow. Knowing that Grey hadn't heard of Cid's facade, he answered, "Well, I'm Snow, you idiot. This has nothing to do with Je-ah, screw it. I'm tired of pretending." As he said it, he lowered his goggles over his eyes and raised his fists. "You're new to your Eidolon. I am, too, but I bet Shiva can take Fenrir down. What's your plan, l'Cie?" He asked Grey. Now that Lightning and the others had seen Stiria and Nix, their role was done, but he still kept them out.

What the hell was that...? It felt like I was hit by a truck... Argent groaned as he sat up. He touched a hand to his ribs and winced. He might've broken one or two...but how could he do it like it was merely a flick of the wrist? He growled lowly and rose to his feet. "What the hell are you doing, Grey?" Argent coughed, sending blood to the ground.

"Stay there. You're not a match for me at the moment." Grey paused and focused his eyes on Cid. I feel so strong...I feel like I could beat down those Shiva Sisters with my bare hands if I wanted to. Already Grey was beginning to grasp Fenrir's abilities though he didn't want to take anything to chance. He was confident, not stupid. "I don't see the point in hunting weak prey. Go for the head of the pack and the rest will fall." Grey said towards Cid, referring to the other l'Cie as the "pack". "I've spent my entire life hunting. Same as my brother. There's no need to get so messy about all this." Grey turned towards Fenrir and tossed the odachi straight at the bike, getting it to strike perfectly into Fenrir's own built in sheath. "Anyways, to answer your question..." He took a momentary glance at the others. "I'm no fool. I don't lose to fate, I master it. Thus, my only option is to help you and Jenova." He spoke calmly. "I'll do what it takes."

Jaden slowly stood up groggily and shook himself off. "I've felt better..."
but he smirked and looked at Akira. "But, I'm alright... It'll take more than an oversized thingy like that to kill me.
    But... thanks for the concern."
    he said to her genuinely.
He looked around at the destruction that had been caused... "...This is so wrong..." he said as he clenched a fist, it shaking with anger.
He walked of towards one of his swords that had impaled itself into the ground and pulled it out, and then he picked up the other one next to it

Linegia watched as Omega pulled out a ring and put it on his finger.
So he had figured it out at last...
Yes. She, as a weapon made by Cocoon to combat the L'cie threat... the L'cie being known to be reliant on magic abilities...
What would be a better weapon than something resistant to those magics?
She watched him pull the glove back on. Prepared for what was to come.
She didn't move as Omega cast the altered Ultima on her, it emerging around her and crushing her on all sides.
She felt it, and it was effecting her, sure.
She swiped her sword, breaking through the spell and ending it prematurely. "So... you have a few tricks. It's just a shame you can't rely on your own power and have to resort to the aid of such a trinket." She told him.
The attack hurt.. well... if you could call that pain. To her, yeah, it hurt, and would have hurt someone else the same amount... but they would have really been in agony.
But that agony didn't match what she had been through before. So she ignored it like it was a bothersome itch.
She sighed. "This is becoming boring. If you aren't going to rely on your own power, then it won't be as satisfying to defeat you." she said, her face devoid of emotion.
She flew at him and then vanished right in front of him, quickly appearing behind him now and sending out Tendrils to wrap around him and keep him in place.
She then started leeching from him using Drainga. "Your life force doesn't even taste that good." she told him actually stopping the attack herself and releasing her tendrils from him, and recalling them back.
She casually cast Curaja on herself, while studying Omega.
"In this world... there are those who are useful and there are those who aren't, those who aren't should not exist.
If you aren't going to comply with us. With our master, then you aren't useful, and therefore should not exist. You or humanity for that matter."
the words would seem shocking coming from such a little girl, but the killing intent coming from her would seem even more so.
Of course, Omega would most definitely not bat an eye lid.
"I told you... I'm am destruction... I was made to be destruction...
so... if it is my duty to destroy you, then so be it."

She held out her free hand, and cast Ultima at him from close range, not that the range particularly mattered.
She still wasn't close to using her full power yet, but this attack would be stronger than her previous ones this time.
Her eyes were still white from her beginning to tap into her power and she was having the occasional spark and flicker of pure dark energy coming from her body.

The ringing in Lightning's ears immediately stopped when she heard Grey's words. Anger built up in her like the rising tide. "You'll....HELP....Jenova?! Do what it takes...." she shook her head as if she could erase his words from her memory that way, "You don't know the first thing about doing what it takes! You do what it takes and you think that turns you back into a normal human!? It makes you a crystal...and the rest of them into crystals! Snow didn't do what it takes...he refused our focus...WE refused our focus and made a better focus come true!" Lightning's gunblade glowed with a Tetrastrike as he emotions burned hot with fury. "You think that Eidolin chose you because it wanted you to DO WHAT IT TAKES!? Eidolins will never choose a l'Cie that follows the orders of a fal'Cie that unwillingly branded them! You...Grey....are a failure." Lightning could see in Grey what she'd seen in herself before when she'd spoken to her own group when she was a l'Cie about her duties. 'I do as I'm told...no questions asked.'

Akira nodded and glanced back at Lightning, she was yelling at...Grey? "What the....? Light...C'mon Jaden...I'm not so sure Lightning's happy about seeing everyone. Something's wrong." She gently pulled on Jaden and hurried toward Light.

Omega withstood her attack, shrugging off the pain. "Don't want me to use it? Then consider it gone." The ring glowed white and quickly evaporated through his glove. "I really wanted to avoid this, but it's the only magic I can do without transforming. You drove me to use it, you know. If they all kill each other it's not my fault." He stretched his arms out to his sides, palms outwards, and casted Mass Drain on everyone. Numerous streams of life energy burst out of his hands to latch onto the targets and started sucking away equal percentages of their individual lives for a good ten seconds before they returned back to him. "This is an ancient life, after all. Were you expecting it to be fresh?" he asked with a chuckle, re-drawing Blood Sword in the process. "The biggest difference between us is that, like Cid, you are human or human-based. To this day, I've yet to see an advantage to that. Does having a soul instantly make you superior? And, yes, even clones have their own souls different from the original. Wave Cannon: 10% Power." Channeling his power through the sword, eyes now glowing an icy blue, a blinding white beam of destruction was fired at her. "I, too, am a weapon and embodiment of destruction. But what have you done to show it? The project that converted you into what you are was never even complete, because you simply couldn't endure the process. I don't even think you were ever released for use until now. And sure, I'm not truly 'complete' either. But at least I can grow, learn, and evolve until then. You've never changed nor will you ever change, like the half-made antique doll that you are. And your glass fillings? They don't do you justice."

When the life energy hit Shinryu in the chest, it was...electrifying, to say the least. There wasn't anything he could do but stand there and take it. This seemed like the longest ten seconds of his life, and when it was over, he was fatigued. Sleep never sounded so good right now.

Jaden followed after Akira, several details coming to his attention...
"Since when did Grey have a bike? ...and where the hell is Leo?" he asked, not even directing the question at Akira exactly, he was just asking out loud.

Linegia felt mass drain be cast upon her.
Using her will, in order to protect the tools her master so badly needed, she drew in as much of the draining ability to herself so it would take more of her lifeforce and not much from the L'cie, excluding Shinryu who she didn't care about and wasn't a part of her master's plans.
She felt pretty drained from it... but she chose to ignore it still.
She listened to Omega as he drew blood sword...
He was right, but for one or two small details. The difference was... she wasn-
'How wrong is he?' Came a cute girlish giggle from inside Linegia's mind interrupting her thought processes.
Because of that, she didn't notice as the white beam of energy hit her, tearing through her.
She still happened to listen to what Omega said next despite being engulfed in the attack.
His words... his words filled Linegia.
She felt sick listening to them, not because the were right or wrong.
But it was because he was talking to her like he truly knew what he was talking about, when he truly had no idea.
'Uh oh... he's pushed you too far hasn't he?' the voice from within asked her.
'Shush you... this was inevitable... if you want to be of use, heal me while I prepare.' Linegia told the voice.
The inner voice seemed to think about this for a second before chiming in cutely with 'Hmmm..... Mm'kay!' and suddenly numerous healing spells were cast at once from within Linegia herself, restoring the energy that Omega had leeched from her with Mass Drain and reversing any damage she had and was receiving from this attack.
Linegia was ready... she felt herself changing, her white eyes now more prominent, her hair had surrounded itself in a dark aura and changed to black... and her body was undergoing a crystal change as well.
She raised her big sword which was charged up, and swung it down in a huge arc, tearing through the wave cannon instantly and unleashing a beam of Dark Energy that pounded into Omega.
When the dust settled and the energy from both attacks had dispersed, Linegia was revealed.

Transformed and her killing intent much stronger than it had been even before...
She spoke, "I couldn't endure you say?
I'm alive because I was the only one that could.
Stop talking like you know me Omega, acting so wise doesn't suit you when you are a complete fool.
If I am a clone or not, I told you, I do not know. I may be, or I may be the original.
Who is to say what is truly complete or not? You? Shut up.
Evolution? I have evolved. I have adapted. You think you know us! ...me.
    You don't!"
her way of speaking was changing, at first she had seemed calm like normal, but now she was becoming more eratic.
'Woah Lin... I haven't seen you like this for a while... please... just-' but the inner voice was ignored and cut off as Linegia kept on talking.
"I'll show you what this antique doll can do!
My master has done so much for me... Cid has done so much for me.
You talk about the weight of a human soul?
I hate humanity, I don't consider myself human, the mere thought makes me sick.
You may claim that I am what I am or whatever. But my humanity was stripped away from me. I told you! Am I even alive? What is life?! I never got to live! I never got to be a child! I never got to be human!"
Linegia's usual demeanour had vanished. Cid and Jenova themselves knew... Linegia could sometimes become unstable. But it couldn't be helped... the truth that was stored within her, that nobody knew, that Omega didn't know... Maybe she herself didn't know the extent of it.
    'Lin...' the voice said sadly...
"You ask what I've done to show what I am?! If only you knew! IF ONLY!"
and then Linegia had vanished instantaneously, her small but powerful free hand clutched Omega's face and carried him through the air and to the floor where she rammed him into it and dragged him along, making a small but deep canyon like a tear in the earth itself from where she was dragging Omega's body.
Again, just as instant, she was gone having left Omega where the new canyon had ended. She was right above him now.
"COME ON OMEGA?! SHOW ME YOUR POWER! SHOW ME! OR YOU'RE GONNA DIE!" she fired multiple blasts of dark energy at him from her sword. Them arcing in mid air and colliding with his location forming a deep crater at the end of the canyon.
She knew that this wouldn't be enough to kill him yet... oh, but this was only the beginning.

Omega smiled all throughout Linegia's starting rampage. Out of the crater he was in echoed out a laugh. "What power words can have on things! I was starting to worry that you were never going to break," he cheerfully spoke from below. Inhumanly, his legs rose up, walking backwards towards his upper body that was still in the ground. Then in a very fast, fluid motion, the rest of his body slithered up to a standing position. "I don't claim to know you or what you went through and I never will. But at least now I can give up that act." He rose back into the air, more or less on her level and continued his laughter for a bit before returning to his usual calm, serious demeanor, eyes and brand now glowing white. "But seriously, what you went through really was a bit laughable from what I saw of your development. It must be like the Void, though. Seeing and feeling it are completely different from experiencing it first hand." He paused to wipe the dust off his clothes. "And I don't need to 'show' you anything. 15% should be just enough to whittle you down, even if it is like a blunt chisel to a mountain. No one knows what happens when this form 'dies' because it never has unlike the others. Will you be the first to do so, I wonder?" He began to provoke her further by attacking with Light Pillar from underneath.

Ryou looked at Light who was severely ticked off and for once, glad he wasn't on the receiving end of it btu what Lighting was saying was from her own experiences as Ryou shifted his stance. "Looks like the storm's coming." as he looked at Grey who Light said was a failure. "Mastering fate itself? How..." He tried to put in some words that might fit the situation. "Ridiculous, I prefer to fight against it, fate this, fate that!" He said a bit frustated.

"Everyone says everything detemined by fate that we can't fight against it and now, you want to master it? That's not even being human at all! I don't want to be controlled by fate but I don't want to be the puppeter! I'll fight against anything that says it has been predetermined! Even thought I have a Focus, I'll do the same thing as Snow, the hero and Lighting! I'll fight fate every step of that way, and if you want to be fate's master, we'll just have to knock you off your high horse and show you just how wrong you are." Ryou said firmly.

OOC: Changed the last bit of what Omega said in my last post.

BIC: Although it's been such a long time since he's done this, Shinryu quietly laughed his fatigue away. He did his best to hold it in, but couldn't help himself when Ryou mentioned the "mastering fate" part of the speech. True, he didn't listen to what Grey had to say, but that repeated part is what caught his attention. Fate's master? You? Fate would rather die than have a master. And do you know what happens when fate dies? You don't get free will. No one does. No. All that would happen is that the future would vanish out of everyone's reach. The past and present would also disappear, leaving time to warp into itself. Do you know what I'd call that event? A time crash. Don't let being a l'Cie and acquiring an Eidolon get to your head. I have a friend, who's also my rival and enemy, that battles Eidolons on his free time. If he heard you say what you did, you wouldn't have your head or your Eidolon right now. Shin stopped laughing towards the end of that thought. Grey started to annoy him, irritate him even. Although he only knew him very briefly, just looking at Grey disgusted him. The boy shot him a dark look that said, "Just shut up, please. If you think you're saving yourself, you really aren't."

Staring at the Shiva Sisters, Mia touched Snow's bandanna. She simply watched Cid fight, and gripped her spear when he said he was Snow. 'If he really was Snow...............' She tried not to think, and listened to Ryou talk about mastering their own fate. Smiling, Mia nodded, resting her spear on her shoulder and looked to the sky, 'I'll fight fate to save you, Snow............ I promise you.'

"Call my attention when you have something better to say. It's not like you've done anything particularly impressive in your past." Grey blandly directed towards Lightning, shrugging slightly. "And it's a good thing I'm not one for horses. I'm more of a wolf person." Grey added, turning towards Ryou. He sighed out, clasping his hands behind his back. Part of him was actually glad the others were angry at him. He was already several steps ahead of the game for a good number of reasons. He smirked at Shinryu as the boy spoke. "Why don't you make me? Don't act so tough when you don't have the strength to back it up. Unless of course you want to waste the effort attempting to hurt me." Grey spread his arms out when he finished speaking, taunting the others by seemingly letting them get in any attack they wanted on him.

By this time Argent had recovered almost entirely. While he was tempted to attack Grey from behind while he was talking, Argent turned his attention towards Fenrir, thinking over the situation for a moment. Hm...

OOC: Shinryu doesn't actually speak or say anything, but I'll take it that he got his message across to Grey.

BIC: He decided to bite. The blades of his lance flipped back out. Challenge accepted. Shinryu approached Grey while keeping his distance from Cid and Shiva. I don't care about your situation or who the hell this Jenova is. I will not risk another time crash by letting some delusional, power-blind idiot run around. He looked at Fenrir fearlessly and wondered if the wolf knew who he was. Focusing back to Grey, he pole vaulted into the air to slam his lance into Grey's skull. Maybe that won't do anything, but at least it'll close the distance between them.

OOC: Yeah, I knew that Shinryu only said one sentence.

    BIC:

Grey raised an eyebrow, watching as Shinryu closed the distance between the two. The boy seemed to stay in the air forever once he pole vaulted, watching as the lance bent and released the stored energy to send him forward. Grey sighed out and moved around to get behind Shinryu before he ever landed. To the others they might've barely even kept up with his new speed but to Grey it felt entirely natural. "I think you overshot it." He spoke calmly, stepping away from the boy. 'Maybe I should stop playing around now. I didn't come here to waste my time on them.' Grey thought to himself as his eyes shifted over towards Cid. 'And I only wonder what that his motives are...'

Speed? Great. As if you weren't irritating enough already. Just as he hit dirt, Shin quickly got to his feet and raised his lance against Grey. Whether he was a traitor to the others or not didn't matter to the boy. Grey needed some sense knocked into him. Literally. But even if he was knocked unconscious, there would still be Fenrir to deal with.

OOC: Guys, I'm extremely sorry for my absence in this (and my other) RPs. I'm going to send out a mass PM later explaining why and some other stuff about this specific RP. Thanks for being patient, guys. But I'm semi-back and will be back for normal RPing on Tuesday.

"Naivete and innocence. Such is the mind of youth."
Leo finally made it to the outskirts of Oerba as he reached a cliff. At the bottom, he could clearly see Oerba. "What the..." he looked on to see two huge ships among the debris of Oerba. No...not Oerba! His body started to shake as he pulled Belias to a stop. One hand reached up to his mask and pulled it off, revealing his pale skin and blue eyes. Past Oerba, he could see several small explosions. No...no...no! I won't let Grey be a part of this! He pulled brown mask back over his face and spun Belias around. "I'm coming!" He yelled as he pushed Belias over the edge of the cliff and towards Oerba.

As long as I have a want. I have a reason for living. Satisfaction is death.
Cid watched the battle between Grey and Shinryu start with a grin. At the back of his mind, he could feel another l'Cie approaching. However, most of his thoughts were dedicated to the large release of energy flowing from where he left Linegia and Omega. Looks like he pushed Lin to the edge, he scowled, thinking about how that was the last thing he needed. "Let's see how you can take care of yourself, little boy," Cid said as he stepped away from Grey and Shinryu, giving them room. "As for you," he said, looking at Argent, "Don't interfere. Don't you wanna see how your little brother has grown? You can play with us!" He laughed as the Shivas flew towards Argent, one throwing a spinning wheel and the other an ice spell.

Grey batted Shinryu's lance away so it would not point at him with the back of his free hand, making direct contact with the blade though it did not cut him. "You're really not worth my time." Grey's eyes shifted over towards Cid who seemed to be stalling for time. He wasn't sure why exactly Cid continued to fight despite having such a large gap between his strength and everyone else's. Nobody would be able to defeat him and there was nothing to gain by smacking everyone around. 'So why is he still here? Does this guy just love fighting?'

The icy wheel was knocked away by Argent's blade though only with a strained effort on his side. Grey's punch had done more damage than he had thought it would. 'He definitely broke a few ribs...Damn it...' Argent stepped back, his eyes fixed on Cid. The Crystal l'Cie had managed to take the full force of his bow without much more than a scratch. Argent was the best swordsman around but even with all his skill he knew he could still fall to sheer power when his attacks did nothing. "Fine...I'll admit when you have me beat." Argent growled lowly, lowering his blade slightly. "But I'm more than just a man, I've got an army behind me." Argent smirked. "Bring in the fleet." He said aloud, this time speaking to his communicator.

"Yes, sir!" Came the response from the other end of the line.

From the view in Oerba it seemed that Cocoon was falling apart, dropping at least a hundred small pieces from its structure. Though those pieces did not fall to the ground. They were headed straight towards Oerba. It was the full force of the Cavalry's air support. There was a distant humming as the mass of ships came closer. "Even you wouldn't stand a chance against that fleet." Argent said towards Cid, a smug look returning to his face.

OOC: Well everyone who's in Oerba is still in Oerba. Argent's fending off Shiva and Cid and he just called in an airship fleet from Cocoon, Grey irritated Shinryu off with a single part of his announcement to complete his Focus to the point where Shin attacked him, Omega got Linegia to snap, and Leo is still on his way there. Yeah that's pretty much what happened.

BIC: With a flick of his wrist, Shinryu slashed Grey's hand away with enough force to just draw blood. He turned his weapon around to have a look at the blade, examining it for anything while gathering his thoughts. The airships descending from Cocoon didn't faze him of it. "...Y-You're not...Pulsian...are you? Then you...no. No you...you wouldn't know. No one...knows. No one...remembers...anymore," he mouthed with some effort. Memories began to pour back along with long forgotten feelings. And with that came tears of all kinds that he's been holding back, though mainly ones of rage and pain. A dragon is physically incapable of crying after all, or at least in his experience. Out of all of the memories rushing in, one confrontation with Omega, that happened a week after that battle, shined through the rest.

"...Shin, just- WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!" he remembered Omega yelling at him while standing on a cliff overlooking a large plain. Furiously raging wasn't quite the right way to describe how Omega must've felt at the time due to his body language. "I know! FATE! She called out to you, too! But...But...YOU DON'T ANNIHILATE A THIRD OF THE WORLD'S HUMAN POPULATION JUST FOR SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS SHUTTING HER DOWN!!! Look, I can forgive you for razing Oerba and Haerii into the ground with everyone in it! They can be rebuilt over time by new settlers who come to live there! But Chronopolis!? They do experiments on time there! And guess what?! Time crashed for the entire sea! Millions of souls are now bound there in time-stilled waves, reliving their deaths over and over again for all of eternity! And whether that was an attempt by fate trying to correct things because you destroyed something you weren't supposed to or some time experiment that went horribly wrong the moment the city collapsed, I don't care! And I know, you're not human anymore! You're not even a l'Cie with a Focus to complete! SO WHY THE HELL WOULD A DRAGON CARE ABOUT MASSIVE LOSS OF LIFE?!!" Omega was right. The dragon didn't care. Those millions of lives he brought to an end that day didn't matter to him. Compared to him and his power they were weak, insignificant, little things that deserved to die in a world where only the strong prevailed. But really, the small fraction of him that kept some of his humanity did care. And all it did was sink into a small corner in his heart, covering its ears while crying and denying everything. At this point, Shin recalled a white aura coming off of Omega and that his eyes and brand were glowing white hot. It seemed that his emotions were getting to him. "And because of you, Leviathan's gone. So are the Magus Sisters. All close friends of mine. And everyone else who died there will not know true rest. The Sea of Eden will never return to the way it once was or even come close to it."

The grip on his lance tightened to the point where his arm was shaking. What's done has been done, but what hasn't can be prevented or at least delayed. Though he's never returned to the sea and seen it for itself, imagining the entire world as some twisted, ghost-ridden place where there's no such thing as past, present, or future is enough motivation for Shinryu to fight to prevent that image from being reality at all costs regardless if a person is serious about what they say or not. "Ssso what if...if I'm human? Does...being a l'Cie...instantly make you s...superior? You...You haven't shown me anything...to prove that," he, again, mouthed while his eyes, now red from the tears, burned into Grey. The boy then had his lance readied for both striking and blocking.
