The whole goal of Barthandelus & Orphan is to bring back the Maker, who created everything which means there's no way in hell Lightning could be a descendant of Cloud, let alone ShinRa being involved. Know the game before you theorize, bro.

Every game before it has been remade, it should be its turn next ;___;

 

Thousands of years of language development, storage media updates, and just plain forgetting stuff has a tendency to royally screw up your recollection of history. They probably came up with a myth where ShinRa somehow became a god-figure called the Maker.

There's also my theory that Lightning is Cloud reincarnated across universes. Which, come to think of it, is more probable than the other guess. Either way, Lightning and Cloud are somehow connected, as are Sazh and Barret, and Hope and Dio. Those last two only because they would be absitively posolutely awesome.

Also, how is it spelled then?

Hey, at least they fixed Rude's AI. Remember how if he used any attack other than Shoulder Tackle he would stop attacking for the rest of the battle? Yeeaaaah they fixed that. Yet they somehow missed the W-Item glitch. Ascended glitch maybe?

And I never noticed glitches in battle or item related because, as always, I overpowered my main team early. So battles against the Turks were usually over in a turn or two. :'D

The Maker created the Fal'Cie from the very beginning and Barthandelus recalls when he was created, meaning he recalls the Maker (who is obviously some sort of god figure, not an organization), which means there never was a Shinra in the XIII universe.

Just because Lightning & Cloud have a similar facial structure and a somewhat similar attitude at the start of their respected games doesn't mean they're realted. Lightning's design was semi-based off of a drawing Nomura had made during VII's development when asked to draw Cloud as a female, thus giving her a similar facial structure, not meaning they're even related in the slightest.

Saying Sazh & Barret are related is kinda a bit racist seeing as how's there's no similarity between the two characters at all other than their skin colour.

And where the hell does Hope & Dio come from? Dio wasn't that important of a character in VII, meaning there's not much to his personality, and Hope is a young guy with a completely different personality, which is apparent even with Dio's lack of character development. I know you're saying that would be "awesome" but it really just sounds kinda stupid.

and they PSN download isn't really a remake, it's really just a port of the game, there's no difference other than the lack of discs.

btw, I am sure that once the remake of VI comes out....they will do a remake of VII...

I think they will stop at IX because that was the last psx game...and the last to have no voice acting.

they may remake them all over again in another 10 or 15 years...just to keep making more money off of better systems.

I think I just really hate when FF fans hate on a FF game because its not "like FFVII because that was the best"

really? its not even fair to compare these two games...FFXIII is on the PS3 (..and xbox360) and FFVII was on the PS ONE.

clearly the games are completely different from their graphics to their story, I also hate when people "dislike/hate" a game with out really giving it a chance because they have their mind set on how ONE game was...and thus all must be the same.

I was suuuuuuuper pumped to get FFXII and FFVIII...and I have played through both...and I can honestly say I wished I liked them..but I dont.
