I think 5 discs maybe.. depends how much it is on PS3
It's been in development for 5 years, I'm surprised its not done yet

 

PS3 holds mucho capacity (Excluding MGS4 issue XD) so it'll hold maybe 2-3 disks. Four, I doubttt ;\

 

But Lost Odyssey was on four..

 

Sincerely i think that it will have more than 4 discs, we don't even know if on PS3 we will need more than 1 disc. We will have to wait. And i'm glad that Versus is still exclusive for Ps3.

This is my opinion, I don't mean any offence to anyone except to the Xbox 360 XD.

I can't believe i've not seen that trailer before, I was all excited by it but after seeing that I feel like it's going to have not as much quality or length as it usually does. In my opinion it's going to be on equal grounds with FFXII, which I thought was a massive waste of time for me.

 

This looks really awesome and the graphics look almost real i can't wait for it

 

I seriously can't wait for this. Aye some of the video is from past trailers but it never fails to impress. The Summons n' the details of the characters are absolutely stunnin'.

so it says "Available on the xbox 360" does that mean its gonna be an exclusive? lol if so, looks like this is where my journey with FF ends...sadly.

 

It's also available on the PS3, so your journey still has a long way to go.

You all saw this coming, probably, but as G4 and other websites and shows have already announced, that Final Fantasy XIII is expected to be a 2009 release and is released for the Xbox 360. Both being simultaneously being released in Europe and North America. One reason to get a Xbox 360, for sure. Personally, after seeing the trailer on G4 on the recap after the Nintendo Press Conference, I was pretty damn shocked at how amazing the game looked.

We saw just a glimps of the cutscenes and new characters, but in the end, a great sneak peek of what's to become of a great series. So, this is the board to discuss everything Final Fantasy XIII related. Debate about it, discuss it, talk news on it, and discuss your opinions on the future and also don't forget the theories of the story.

Personally, it's a must have for the future.

My Opinion on The Addition to Xbox 360

Alright, so, people are blaming and hating Microsoft and Square Enix for giving and recieving rights to publish FFXIII to the Xbox 360. Only because the series is more of a Playstation series ever since the sixth or seventh installment. Seriously, you guys. Look back to where Nintendo went with it. All FF games, and plus Chrono Trigger, were for their SNES and NES system. So, for those haters, you are targetting Microsoft, yet neglecting Nintendo? I find it both intelligent and stupid at the same time.

Listen, it's time for Final Fantasy to grace a different console for the sake of people not hating and having to raise the money to buy a PS3. It's nice to see other gamers get the chance to play the game on the console they love. Seriously, just look at what Nintendo is doing by remaking the classics, and now, are gracing Chrono Trigger, which I never really saw coming. And now, seeing the thirteenth installment come to the Xbox 360, it seems to have this look and atmosphere where it seems to be one of those games that needs be to on the system, if you ask me.

Let's just hope they don't put Versus XIII on the Xbox 360. The story and look of it is so dark, it doesn't belong on the Xbox 360. Hope for the better Versus is a PS3 exclusive.

 

I'm both shocked and not shocked at the same time. I saw it coming but yet I didn't expect it.

Well it's a major blow for the PS3. The main reason I got a PS3 was for MGS4 (no disappointment there), FFXIII and assuming more RPG's will come to it, so 1/3, wootness. Must say that 360 is looking mighty appealing, it always has, but more so now.

I still don't think getting one was a bad decision, but some of the reasons I decided to get one have disappeared.

 

we still get FFV XIII to our selves I think and theres loads more still too come, i'd say it''s more like 2/3 of wootness.

 

so, noones answered me yet. is it for both ps3 and 360 now or just 360??
