XIII won't be as fun as Versus. If Versus has the KH Battle System, I'll like it. But XIII supposed to have the XII Battle System. I liked it better when FF was turn based.

I heard about that. It really sucks. Now there is pretty much zero point in me getting a PS3. And I'm shocked that SE would even consider making a major FF game multiplatform. I mean, what are they? EA??? And seeing as they did decide to make it multiplatform, they should have put it on the Wii, seeing as it's sold more than the Xbox and PS3 virtually every week since it was released.

I didn't think the FF franchise would begin to die out so quickly. At least we still have KH, right?

 

Square made a huge mistake before they made this decision. They made a huge mistake when they decided to change the Battle System.

I'd like to see a Final Fantasy on Wii with motion control. Like say your a fighter class character, the more force you put into the swing, the more damage the attack does.

 

Yeah, I agree. I bought a Wii today, it rocks!

But anyways. I really think it's sad that SE have decided to exploit a Final Fantasy game for profit. What about when making an amazing game mattered more than money to them? And profit must be what's motivating them, because there's no other reason to make a game mulitplatform. *Sigh*. I'm actually really angry with SE right now.

 

At least Versus is still PS3 exclusive. I thought Square signed a contract with Sony when they made FFVII that they would only make main titles on Sony consoles.

I think that they wouldn't have made as much money if it was just on PS3 though. A lot of the people who bought a PS3 are casual gamers and I don't think it would really appeal to them that much. 360 is more of a hardcore experience, but I say that it just doesn't feel right.

 

I know. Imagine if we had a Kingdom Hearts game on it.

The only FF game that should be on the 360 is XI. It wouldn't feel right if a regular FF was on 360. Besides, if it's a Japanese game, it should be on a Japanese console.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. Its a good move for Square-Enix and it might make a fatal blow to the
PS3. They really need to get the feel of FF on 360.

XI was great for online as the 360 has the best online experience, IMO

 

O_o this came out of left field, I was so surprised when I heard this. Yet another game PS3 owners can cross of their "exclusive" list.

However,as a company you want to make the most money, and apparently the Xbox360 is probably the best console to make the most money, right next to the Wii.

This means, that is FFXIII does well on the 360, we might have other games such as Kingdom Hearts, Dragon quest, and other Final Fanatsies on the Xbox.

Plus with all the updates XBL is getting, it's probably the smartest move.

 

I don't own a PS3 but I own a 360. As much as I love this, it honestly should have stayed exclusive. I was actually going to buy a PS3 just for these 2 games...
