Square-Enix Final Fantasy XIII: Fabula Nova Chrystallis

Yeah, this. Makes you wonder how many it is including the console edition.

 

Also, MW2 was a worldwide release. So however many it sold, that was all over the world. FFXIII sold over a million solely in Japan. Granted, there were probably a lot of people importing it as well, but not enough to drastically alter the figures. If it had gone worldwide, I actually think it would have exceeded MW2.

 

Wow, that's a lot... I doubt it will do as well in NA, though.

I agree with Kitty, too, that Lightning PS3 is gorgey. I'd like to have one of those.

Have they released the Console Bundle sales for it yet?

 

Weeeell, not exactly that, but there was one article that was interesting.

According to Famitsu, FF13 sold 1.51 million in the last four days (Since it was released).
The article also says PS3 sold 245k this week. (This number is including the bundle version)

It's in Japanese though so don't bother lol. Some guy on gamefaqs translated it for us.
Mind you 250k is a huge number in Japan. (Usual number is about 40k or something)

Jokes aside, good to have a game that's longer than 12 hours.

 

I must admit, you can't beat the Japanese voices/song, but I think they've done awright. I'll probably cringe at some of the dialogue, but the voices aren't too bad. Leona Lewis is meh, but that's because i'm currently loving the Japanese theme. xD

Anyhoo, looking forward to this game. :3

I'm actually glad they did pretty well with the voices in the trailer. Not sure for any other voices you'll hear while playing the game. XD
I'm leaning a little on to the bad side on Vanille's voice though. Seems alright in some parts, but in others, not so much. To be honest, I actually like the song My Hands. When I found out that the theme would be a song from Leona Lewis, I thought it was going to be bad, but I actually like it.
I'm really looking forward to his game. I want it so bad. XD​

 

I've heard a few complaints about the game. Mostly about it's linearity and "No Towns" thing.
But screw it, it's mostly from people who only saw live streams of the game.

I'll still get it on day 1, the positives I've heard is about the amazing gameplay and great characters like Lighting (Who apparently is all the great sides of Cloud, Squall and Terra) and Sazh.

And I'm not too bothered by the dialogue or the song myself.

 

That was pretty cool. Personally, I thought the song wasn't really fitting for the trailer's action sequences and whatnot but it's a decent song alone. I can imagine it playing at the ending credits or something.

I can see that they also altered the "lip-flaps" for the FMV scenes, so I guess there won't be more of that awkward wording during that. Of course, we can't really tell how the dialogue is going to actually be but I am having a certain hunch about it.

I guess that's probably why the game was considered linear by some. Huh.

Well, I suppose some of that content will make it in for a possible International Release of XIII in Japan. The game had potential.

 

Watched it full screen and I still can't get over how beautiful this game is.
I didn't like the first scene for some reason.
I already spoiled part of the game and hate myself because I just now decided I'm getting it.

I was trying to choose between a Wii and 360 and was leaning towards the Wii because I won't be playing too much, but forget that. I'm getting this.

 

The game looks stunning. I can't wait to play this. I think they did a great job on the voices and the gameplay looks fun. The story seems interesting, and the cast seems good too. Unlike most I actually like the song in the trailer. But anyway, I can't wait for this @_@

It certainly is disappointing that it was cut out from the final game. Here's hoping they have the heart to release it...i can always hope. xD
