Square-Enix Final Fantasy XIII: Fabula Nova Chrystallis

That's epic considering those 50-60 hours don't include Side-Quests and all.
Though they said the same thing about FF7, and the average player could finish that in 40-45 hours. But we'll see.
I am pleased Square, good job o; Only a few more months to go.

 

Aye, i would've preferred if they kept Lightning out of it, but it's awright. If they had kept the style as the previous titles i would've liked it more. Go simplicity!

Edit: Do you think they will release a special edition of the game? I'm debating with myself whether or not to pre-order now and save myself the hassle later, or wait to see if there would be a special edition. Though, they would have probably announced it by now, aye?

 

Excellent! It certainly feels i'd be getting more for my money if it's gonna take at least 50 hours. I always loved long games, gives me an excuse to play for long hours. xD And i'd imagine SE would add in a fair amount of side-quests which would hike up the play time.

Just sucks that month i have exams. xD

The characters having only three stats seems strange, but very interesting.


And jeez, so much FFXIII news these days. Probably because the JP is only a few weeks away.

I quite like the idea of the weapon customisation. It's basically like leveling up a character. xD And the weapons into 'key items' is interesting. I wonder how many you will need to collect to produce a one of the best weapons.

And lol, Lib, that Flan is awesome! xD The graphics do it justice.

IMO the giant cactuar from FF8 was the best. The adamantoise looks insanely awesome, the flan looks pretty good even though I hated those creatures in FF XII at the beginning of the game and why they gave the Chocobos side burns I will never know.

As for Cid, he seems kinda young. Most Cids I know are quite old.

 

Hm. It's sorta strange seeing him so young. I can't decide if I really like it or not. I want to see how he acts.

 

The cactaurs looks pretty normal to me.
But okay Cid looks unfamiliar.
Whatever not gonna change anything.

 

Cid's age and appearance changes alot. Thats why everyone loves him.

Also, who has suspisions that Cid in FFXII (I still haven't finished it so sorry if I'm pointing out something everyone knew) is Balthier's father?

 

Well, those Cid's are all old and have beards even if FF7 Cid shaved his but it doesn't look like FF13 Cid is old or has a beard. Still, it depends on the personality of the character, not his appearance I guess.

Also would you like it if I told you if he was his father or not or should I let you find out?

 

The only thing the same about every Cid is the name. Cid from FFIX was a Oglop for most of the game then when he returned to his human form he had black hair, still kept the moustache he had in his Oglop form and wasn't all that old. Besides, your all saying that this Cid is too young?
