Am I the only person glad they chose someone like Leona Lewis? :v

It doesn't matter if her other songs suck or not, she has an amazing voice and lots of potential for an opening song o:

 

I'm more disappointed that it's not a song made for the game.

Also, I feel completely unchanged in saying that I do like the song "Bleeding Love".

 

I thought you were gonna actually say the song they chose was Bleeding Love then. :why?:

Too many good games are starting to come out for the PS3 and I dont even have a PS3 yet. The battle system looks pretty interesting.

I am getting sick of these love-themed songs and stories damnit. Can't we have an epic orchestral rock-like song instead? Wouldn't that make a much better connection for a more compelling story and overall gaming experience?

This just makes me want Versus XIII more than this game even more than before.

I liked the song (better than Bleeding Love, imo) and at first, I thought it was going to work out because I expected a big rise in the tempo of the song. That didn't happen, unfortunately.
I still think the song can go in the game, but I don't know about making it the main theme...

But to be serious, if that's what the producers think will push game sales, it makes them sound desperate. It's going to be a/the defining RPG for the current gen of consoles. I've never palyed an FF game before, but by the look of it all, I shouldn't miss it.

Just listened to it, and it sounds too much like her previous songs to really distinguish itself. I just hope the video along with it will make the song appear epic, the lyrics and tempo sure didn't.

I have to admit that these trailers are a lot better than what the western world is throwing about in other games.
Apparently this is the last trailer SE is throwing before the Japanese release.

The game is hitting Japan in December 17. While it's hitting the western world on the 9th of March. Not too much of a difference, but damn I'm exited.
Just look at those graphics x.x (Mind you this is a bad quality version of the video, the actual one is a LOT better)

 

That trailer was freaking awesome! The graphics do look amazing, and the design of characters, levels and those monsters are fantastic.

Now imagine how Yuna would look with graphics like this! I hope that someday FFX and X-2 will be remade and will look like this.
