Does this remind anyone else of Pursuit of Happyness? I mean, both dad and sons have fros and share similar facial structures.

I still want Versus over this.

 

Have we even heard any updates on Versus lately? Because it looks like it'll turn out to be a pretty good game. I'm curious as to how the play style will be.

This Japanese-schoolgirl-esque-looking person is confirmed to be Lightning's sister. :O Here's the fully translated portion under her profile.

Serah Farron:
"She is Lightning's younger sister. A headstrong girl who believes in solving her own problems and not getting other people involved. She is always very concerned for her elder sister. She wears a necklace on her chest, a present from Snow. Lightning does not approve of her engagement with Snow. Like her sister, she is a L'Cie and is marked with a tattoo of two red spheres on her left arm."

*note the necklace's design (hard to see I know) and the logo design are eerily similar...*

It's unknown at this time whether she's a playable character... but it would really interesting if so lol.

Expect more information in either the next issue or at the upcoming TGS 09. Or both.

 

Engaged to Snow? This makes things intresting.

Hope she's actually useful to the plot rather than eye-candy.

 

My damsel in distress sense is tingling! She'll either be in the game for a plot point (e.g. Oh noez, Snow's waifu has bin kidnapited), doing something NPCish, in a slightly sexual scene/has a split second moment which will make a million men fap or a wedding scene at the end along with the eyecandy point everyone has made as her main role, probably.. Either way, it's some news on the game which is better than the nothing we get about Versus.

If Lightning doesn't approve of Serah's engagement with Snow, then I'm guessing there must be something between those two, no?

Either way, that makes it even more interesting to know this. Although, I agree with Fayt. I have a feeling she'll be a damsel in distress type of character.​

Or... I don't know if this is kinda jumping the gun here but I have a feeling that she may pull off another Aerith act. After all, the trailer released with ACC implied that something happened to Serah, not to mention some of the crew from the original FFVII is working on the game (up to the point that Lightning acts like Cloud, Sazh = Barret, etc.)

But like I said, probably just jumping to conclusions.

It looks beautiful, but I hope it has substance and depth to it. I'm sure they're planning to release something big about Versus at the very end of TGS.
