He looks cool, I like him already

I'm excited about this games release, I'm really hoping it's better than FFXII, I didn't like that game

We actually heard his English Voice from the recent E3 trailer. Couldn't tell who it was though since he only had like, one line.

When I think about it, he does sort of resemble Atsuma.

Why doesn't anybody I know like FF12? :why?:

Anyways yeah, I'm really looking forward to this game coming out, I'm starting to save up (unsuccessfully) for a PS3 when it comes out.

For a second there, I was actually going to believe that. :B|:

I am waiting so impatiently until this game is out. Since it's also coming out for 360, I'll be getting it for that. :=D:

His appearance does look pretty familiar but he still seems pretty cool so I can't wait to play the game and everything.

This year, right? Or do you mean in somewhere around "2???" ?

If it's coming out in Japan this year, then that's a massive leap forward for SE. The game is practically around the corner even for everyone outside Japan.

    Saw the thread title.
    My hopes were raised.
    Then dashed quite well.

But I can't wait for this game. It's gonna be so awesome!

No no, it's a good solid 9 months...hopefully their other titles aren't a preface to this wait time.

I'm guessing you're in the European PAL region. If so, it's a good 15 or 16 months before you get it.

I was thinking closer to 13-14 but yeah, gonna be longer than others since they've gotta let whichever terrible voice cast that gets their hands on the game first do that dubbing business. God, every FF game I'm sure the acting gets worse. I'm currently playing Dissidia and I’m getting headaches off half the voices. I'm only hoping for three things from this game: decent game play, decent plot and bearable voices.

Those lucky people in Japan. Well, thanks for the update anyway. Now we'll just have to *impatiently* wait for the English release. : D

It looks like Lionel Richie Sazh has a son in the upcoming Final Fantasy title.

    http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/5531/ffxiiisept9scan1.jpg

Here's some info from the scan (posted off from Livejournal) :

    # The scans reveal Sazh's son, translated name is Dodge.
    # Final Fantasy XIII Playstation 3 bundle to coincide with the launch of the game
    # Final Fantasy XIII will be coming out on the 17th December in Japan and it will be costing 8,800 yen without tax and 9,240 yen including tax. That translated to almost exactly 100USD or 60GBP.
    # J-Pop artist Sayuri Sugawara will be performing the theme for Final Fantasy XIII. The song will be called "Kimi ga iru Kara" (translated to "Because You're Here") and it will be released on December 2nd.
    # A Final Fantasy XIII Potion drink announced (I'm hoping it's as good? as the Dissidia potion...)

With the release of FFXIII in Japan coming this December 17 (not to mention the Tokyo Game Show around the corner), we can expect to see more new characters and awesomeness coming out of this game.

Hey look, it's young Micheal Jackson XD

But yeah, he's just going to be an NPC right? They should have little kids with powers again. Like the twins in FFIV.

Also, it might be £60 when released? FFFFFFFFFF- that's £20 more than most games, i'm going to have to search for the biggest bargin when it comes out.

I believe so. But I did hear that they have one more playable main character to announce so who knows (total of six I presume).

And the equivalent prices of games in Japan to other countries is always a little bit higher than one would normally see. I'm pretty sure it won't be that expensive when it hits store shelves in your area. But then again, they could be talking about the bundle pack or something like that.
