Square-Enix Final Fantasy XIII: Fabula Nova Chrystallis

...officially. This gives us a vibe that XIII is definetely coming out sometime late this new year.

For right now, the characters are revealed (Lightning, Snow, and Vanille). The site's top music is pretty soothing though. And if you stay on long enough you'll be able to hear a more upbeat tune from the trailers (I think that's it...).

They also have a really neat feature to zoom in and out on the character artwork. But that's just me. XD

Yeah, not much on it, but it's nice to see progress. Ripped and merged the songs onto the player in my sig. Feel free to listen.

EDIT: finalfantasy-xiii.net managed to rip them as well (there goes wasted effort doing it on my own), so you can download it there at your own leisure.

 

...The 360 version and PS3 version coem out on the same day.

 

So tempting to import the Japanese version on the PS3 when it comes out. No region protection makes it so easy.

I actually like the addition of the Chain combos. Aside from that, I'm kind of iffy about how the others work out, but I guess we'll be waiting for some demo or gameplay vid to come out to shed more light on that.

 

Just play Chrono Trigger. That should give you a small idea of what it will be.
