I'm somewhat excited if we get another FF XIII. It might just be me, but I think that XIII should go at least one more game, because we got a game with Lightning and everyone, then we got a game with Serah and Noel, now we should get a game that focuses on Lightning again and tie anything that might have been left unanswered together

Hope should be the main character of the new one. Even though I hated the little wiener initially, he's really grown on me. He also deserves to be the main character after what he did in XIII-2. And then you can have Sazh and Noel be his party or something. And then you also have an alternate plot going on with
Lightning and Serah being all dead and stuff

    It'd be pretty good.

God no. XIII was woeful, and from what i've played of XIII-2, they improved, but I think they should just move on. In fact, I think they should probably close the Final Fantasy side of things for a while, so they can come up with something new because right now I really don't see much else they can do, except one of those generic "It was all a dream" things.

But Lightning isn't dead - her DLC shows that. I could see Hope, Noel and Sazh being playable, since it never stated that they actually died (I figure the same thing happened to them that happened to Lightning and they're in Valhalla).

Give me character selection, Lightning as the main character (Since it's her 'saga') with Fang and Vanille having a substantial screen-time/play-time, an actual ending to the story (Plus a stronger story) and I'll be happy.

As long as Lightning is playable, I'll be ok. Especially if Fang and Vanille get some love in this one. But god no, I hated Hope. He's a little whiny creep.

Hope changed a lot in FFXIII-2, and for the better. It was a shame that you couldn't include him in your team.

Never played FFXIII-2. My friend told me the ending, therefore, it has been ruined for me.

Despite what the DLC showed, I hope that Hope(pun!) will be the main character for the next game. He's grown into the best character so far. Pretty much everything in XIII-2 pointed towards him being the most important person alive.

"The Future Is Hope", the paradox ending, pretty much confirms this with saying that if Hope dies the future is completely screwed.

Hope, Noel, and Sazh for main characters. The bro team should exist. I'm tired of Lightning honestly. She's grown a little, but hearing her talk so much gets on my nerves. She didn't even have as much development as Hope did. Though Sazh went from being the best character in XIII to just...odd in XIII-2's DLC(lol I'm gonna gamble for my son and not worry about him!).

Still, Square needs to get their priorities straight. Type-0 and Versus really are more important than XIII-3 at this point. They should just shove all their staff onto those to get them over here. >>

But I did play the DLC. Of course, I might have been so annoyed by the fact that I had to fight Caius again that I didn't pay much attention to the story. But from what I gathered, she's dead, just not yet because of space and time being all jumbled in Valhalla. Of course, in this universe it can be argued wether or not you're dead if you're encased in kryptonite, and she did talk about how she's going to reawaken at the end of erternity. But I'd much rather learn about how the people in the real world deal with the **** that is going down. And if they don't use Hope in the new one, they're stupei. Just sayin.
