For those who dont want spoilers of XIII-2 in a way shape or form.... GO AWAY!!!!! Ok, so one ending of XIII-2 Sara passes out or die (I dont know what really happen to her because I know a little bit of Japanese and I can barely understand it) then after Noel and Hope talk and the sky becomes dark like a storm is coming it switches to Lightning sitting in something that looks like a throne then it fades to black with "To Be Continued" at the end. Is Square Enix really doing this? Or are they trying to get the players to try to get a different ending (from what I've heard the game has different endings depending on what you do). EDIT: I haven't seen the other endings.
Truthfully, I kinda want them to continue FFXIII. If that really does lead to a XIII-3 I'd be pretty happy. I know most fans would hate it, but I think XIII is a good game, and they should continue it if it does well enough. I don't think it means for you to try another ending though, because there's no way they would make it that you have to play the game again just to get the next part of a ending from the same game

Apparently, I'm not sure since I haven't seen translation for it, Lightning was evil. Caius was never the bad guy either, which I think I've already seen in translations! Hope seems to be the strong choice for the next protagonist alongside Noel. I haven't heard much good about XIII-2. It doesn't have real towns apparently since you can't enter any buildings. Type-0 had an excuse, XIII-2 doesn't. Cinematic actions are pretty hit and mess. I'd honestly prefer to sit back and watch a cutscene rather than keep the controller in hand being paranoid about not failing something. Anyways, it seems XIII-3 will be very likely unless something else within the game wraps it up. EDIT: It's been in full production for not too long now.
What I meant to say is that Square should start working on finishing Versus XIII. I also hope Lightning will get killed off.
I dont really think Lightning is a terrible character but then again that is your opinion and I respect that :P Anyway, I've been confused since day 1. I dont really trust fan-subs (what you call "translations") that much because there is always a bad translation 1 out of 10 times (one Japanese word can have many meanings) so I wait for the official translation but then again there are typeos but nothing big like a fan-subber would screw up. I do agree with the Cinematic Action. I would be under the pressure and would look up what to choose (happens all the time).
Yes please. Murder Light. She's so overrated ! I think that SE wants to know if fans want a FF13-3 before they start making it. It feels like they did this on purpose you know ? To get hype and media attention, and for FF players to chat about it. It just feels like they want us to speak about it, you know ? This problery makes no sense.
