It's a fun fight, but Lightning won't drop her freaking crystal and it's pissing me off

I got Lightning after my second fight, she's an awesome Rav and a must for my team! Its Amodar I can't get. xD I've fought them about half a dozen times and I still can't get him.

She' s not confirmed, this article points out it' s just a rumor ("leaked screenshots", "we’ll keep you posted when official word comes out").
The first picture is actually a FF XIII screenshot, and many suspect the other picture to be photoshoped.

I hate Final Fantasy XIII-2. :P I'm sorry. I just don't like anything about it. I've watched trailers, read articles, etc... And the game just seems like a disgrace compared to Final Fantasy XIII. I mean, I've played XIII and that game was a 3 outta 5. But part two is just sad and I don't think there was any reason for it to be made. XIII ended happily, so stop it there. The whole thing just ended like Final Fantasy X to X-2. ~___~

Have you played it? Most people who've played both (including myself) agree that XIII-2 is a big improvement over XIII

I love the game. Seriously. I found 13 a pain in the nether regions sometimes and 13-2 seems to flow so much more in comparision. Mayor improvement? More puzzles. Ever since 10 I felt the need for puzzles in every FF-game I played. This just is amazing, on the verge of driving me insane. (Not that I am sane, but whatever...)

The last world (not really the last world, but the last city). That's my heaven. Puzzle mania. I'm in love with this game.

Story-wise it's great too. I kinda need more Sazh though, good I can get him in the DLC.

I personally thoroughly enjoyed this game, I didn't play much of anything else until I completed it with 1000 GS aswell because of how enjoyable I found it too be, the over all game in comparison to XIII improved on so many things, the only thing this game fell down with was length and story, the game was too short and the story was rather weak and there was no huge drive to keep going, I get they covered their bases by have split decisions, but they were minute and usually left you back 10 minutes to go do what's intended to happen in the story, "Find Lightning" is not a great drive for me to play the game unless i'm Serah myself and I actually give a damn about her, usually these games have a huge story mission, with intricate smaller missions scattered through out to keep you going with new things, and this game somewhat had it, not really to much extent, it was usually just an excuse to have a boss fight in a certain area, the characterisation of the main two wasn't very indepth and the over storyline was fairly weak, other than that, the gameplay is far above XIII interms of enjoyability to play.

For anyone wondering whether to buy the Sazh DLC: DON'T.

It's only about 30 minutes and contains nothing relevant to the story except for a lame reveal about Chocolina (That you probably guessed already). The only reward is Sazh as a SYN, and he's not even the best one in my opinion. Waste of $5, upset with myself right now. Only redeeming quality is the "cool factor" of having all 3 of my Paradigm Pack monsters as humans.

Also I put another afro on Sazh's afro and it's hilarious. So there's that.

Yo dawg, I heard you liek afros so I put an afro on your afro.

I'm playing the DLC now. I actually like it. Chocolina's quest is amusing enough to warrant the purchase of it. Also, SAZH. 8D

Just finished it the other day and yeah, it was stupid easy. Post game content is also pathetic, 5-Starred Long Gui, Ochu, Immortal, and Yomi all on my first try. Pathetic really. I'm going to do a NPPU (No Paradigm-Pack Usage) playthrough now to see if that makes it more challenging.

    Also that ending, wtf man

Knew it: Nabaat never posed like that with her glasses on, and it was too smooth to have been a photoshop edit, no matter how good they were.
Honestly, it's nice to see a bit more of a character who was supposed to be a challenge. Heck, she jumped down in front of six l'Cie with a lot of confidence, so I think this one'll be a good fight. So looking forward to it.
Gilgamesh too, huh? Well that's cool, I rather liked him. Typhon though? I... really don't see much point to him. Maybe it'll surprise me though, I dunno.

I lol'd harder than I should have at that.

But yesyesyes, Barthandelus for DLC. Want. Want hard.
And yeah, it'd be interesting to see how Rosch would fight without his damn machines. >:c

If we were able to fight him in the coliseum in the first place, I would assume he'd be tameable, since everything else so far has been.

But yes, I so would. He'd automatically be the best Commando in the game. Ruin spam all over the place, lasers when there's enough Ruin flying all over the place, and his Feral Link would totally be Thanatosian Laughter. He'd seriously be such a good addition. And it's not like he'd be all that broken either, since he can't move.

    Tactic #1 : Code Green.
Tactic #2 : Code Blue. No wait, Code Yellow ? If it was Orange that would mean ... *brick' ed*

I was thinking she'd be a Saboteur. *Shrug*

Lightning DLC will be coming out in May. STORY DLC. Apparently the combat will be different than how it is in the game. Guess more action-y? I can actually imagine Type-0's combat being ripped off for this. Not that it would be a bad thing though.

Sweet! Can't wait for this. Hopefully this will be longer (a lot longer) than Sazh's DLC.

So I've been hearing from one friend that the game is "AMAZING OMG YOU MUST PLAY IT", but I'm still kinda "eh" after XIII. Did they actually put in towns and side-quests akin to the older games? Cause to me, that was the stuff that really made the experience fit together: you knew what you were fighting for, and side-quests gave more back-story and cool mythologies. And from what I've seen, there are only 2 main characters. Do you get more? Or are they pets or something? I just wanna know it its worth my $60, when XIII definitely wasn't.
