    Completed it this morning...
don't like the ending. ;___; Its waaaaaaaaay worse than FFXIII's ending! Seriously, how could they end it like that? Raaaage! >|

I'm loving the game though. Its a lot better than I thought it would be. The story was slightly strange but I enjoyed it. Loving all the extra stuff for us to do. Definitely an improvement on FFXIII. And having pets didn't bother me at all, it was a nice addition and gave you lots of freedom to create your ideal team.

I really really hope they continue this story.
I need a proper ending! I need closure! D: Didn't they say they wanted it so Lightning was happy at the end? Well, I can't see how she'd be happy with this ending! >|

I guess I'll be kept busy with the fragments till they release some story DLC.

    PS

Totally squealed like a fangirl when Fang appeared. Best.Moment.In.Game.

Awesome game is awesome. I wish the battle system wasn't so easy to use though... half the time I'm just being mean to the X button. XD

Here I was thinking that the story would suck...man, I was so wrong, even though I was Toriyama'd in the end...

...I loved it. I really have to stop judging things before I play them. I still hate Mog though, and Noel has grown on me.

So, I'm looking forward to the Jihl DLC.

She should've been a boss in FFXIII (Or maybe I wanted to kill her so much that I wish she was) but at least we have her now. I hope she'll either be free DLC or come as part of a pack.

lol, please tell me your don't use the auto-attack. xD

Once you complete the game there's a few fragments you can find that gives you a wee hint towards Noel and Serah. I'm really looking forward to their next story DLC though. Loving this game!

How can you hate Mog? He's so adorable and hilarious! Seriously, when he got that toilet roll! xDDD Plus, his back story is incredibly sad! Hope we get to see more of that.

Just roughly up to Episode 6, all i ahve to do is click Academia 500 AF but I refuse to cause I wanna collect as much Fragments as I can before the final boss even though, I would continue post-story to get all Paradox Endings.

Never thought Serah would look so...attractive with her outfit, I swear if we get Bikini Resort Outfit, I may never put the game down lol.

Sadly, no Outfits are available, I wanted Noel to go all Ezio-garb!

And just great...Jihl DLC? -had the most evil smirk in the Historia Crux- ooooH I can't wait to show her whose boss....but if she becomes a Crystal like Lightning and Amodar (Still haven't beaten them yet either) \I'd neve rput her in a Paradigm Pack, the thought of me making her my 'slave' is soemwhat satsifying but her being in a party with Noel and Serah is just...not right.

Hopefully more DLC will come out and you get to fight everyone else in the first game, would be interesting.

I'm at the end of the game !
But i want to have lvl99 in mains roles to defeat the final boss with five stars ! è_é

Well, I heard a french critic said that the OST is bad, and that the characters are boring "Just two characters in a rpg is disappointing" something like that. I'm not agree ! I've the OST (with the cristal edition) and i found it awesome when i played ! There is a mix between many styles and it's interesting... I guess people prefer classic things ? Nevermind... I love it !

Especially when the Yeul like voice singing, In the Noel's dream for example.

First i didn't like Serah 'cause she's so... passive, simple. I don't know how to say, but she's not quite stereotyped like the other, you know ? I remember when i saw Noel i said to my boyfriend 'IF SHE CHEATS SNOW with Noel I-I KILL HER !" So i didn't like Noel too. But after 25 hours playing these twoo... I begin to like them. Serah evolves with this journey. (I guess)

BUT a worse point.. It's too short ! I mean, i've just play 25 hours and i'm at the end ?! I've 80/90 hours with FFXIII. 50 hours to finish the main story, and it was harder. I defeat easily all the bosses in FFXIII-2. I'll see if the final boss will be hard to kill eheh. C:

I think it has more to do with what we came to expect hearing in a FF. To say that the music in FFXIII, and the few I' ve heard from FFXIII-2, has an unusual style for a FF game is quite an understatement. I was okay with 3rd Birthday having that kind of music, it felt right at home in a Parasite Eve, but to hear it in FF ... let' s just say I would feel equally revolted if I heard rap and heavy metal in the latest Star Wars movie.

Also in FF XIII, putting its unusual style aside, overall the music sucked and got on my nerves, but to each his own I guess.

X-2 was basically made because, besides 7, X was the most popular during that time. and IMO, X-2 kind of killed X. T_T Unless of course, you got the ONE good ending. (Bleh!) But XIII-2 was made because XIII didn't do anywhere near as well as they expected, sales-wise. Idk, to me it seems like games made with certain motives usually come out crappy...I'm personally not planning on playing XIII-2 anytime soon.

I'm not too far into XIII-2 yet (only on episode 2 because of schoolwork) but the game is great thus far. The few areas I've seen so far are much more expansive than most areas in XIII.

I for one, really like the OST because it's really varied and vibrant--I didn't like that there was an abundance of one particular singer, but songs ranged from the ridiculously funny to the serious and heart-warming. That shows that they're not just Uematsu--and that's good. Having a balance with many different things is good, in my opinion.

As for XIII-2. I'm quite enjoying it. I mean, I don't think the story is a work of genius. But it works really well. The characters are also fairly genre savvy and don't roll out the cheese every second. I do have a gripe with the main menu--it's messy. And the datalog felt unbalanced.

But overall, I feel it delivers that which most FInal Fantasy games try to bring to the table. The cheesy and emotional tale of heroes saving the world in some impossible setting. It works. Maybe younger audiences will get a better kick out of it--but us older folk can still enjoy it for what it is, and not for what we think it should be.

More importantly, it's fun! collecting fragments that give you info on the world, the time traveling aspect, the battles. It's all pretty fantastic and above average. That said, they should strive to improve--this game is by no means a masterpiece. It is extremely fun and good, but it's not a genre defying entry.

Huh, who knew Serah had some on her after all...
Um, uh, I mean wow, Sazh better be a synergist and hopefully he has all the offensive buffs and haste. It's a shame that they nerfed the buffs for Serah and Noel.

I just finished Academia...this game is WAY too easy. My favorite part of XIII was the challenge. NOTHING has been able to kill me so far. I think I'm going to have to do a just Serah and Noel playthrough or something else to make it more challenging.

Has anyone used the Lightning DLC?
For some reason I really liked the little scene before the battle. It put a smile on my face, I dont know why! xD
