Square-Enix Final Fantasy XIII-2?

Apart from the horrendous Chocobo theme, the Lake Bresha Rap and the Worlds Collide song, I am quite enjoying the OST for this game from what I've listened to in the previews. My favourite is probably between 'Knight of the Goddess' and Caius' Theme.

 

FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 has now been released in Japan.

And what do we get? Some new screenshots, of course. =]

hmm, not as interesting as the others, but still very nice to look at. And that wasn't Sazh at the last few was it?
And how come they went back to Omega's old form? I mean, in the first few Final Fantasy games that was what it was modeled as, but then they got so much better, why go back now?

 

Either it's Nostalgia, laziness or nothing else fit the form.

actually, when I look at Omega, I feel like it's just the portal robot put on legs. Am I the only one that sees that?

I feel like I was looking at FFX-2 screen shots but enhanced and with a new character.

I feel like SE is slacking a bit on creativity, as you said before about Omega. It seems their running out of ideas. e.e

Also, the streams are very very boring in parts. Especially Serah + Jumping = my berserk button.

 

Because, if Dissidia's anything to go by, there's a difference between Omega and Omega Weapon despite what people say. Omega has always been a four-legged robot and its only other recent appearances are in XI and XII (the updated versions of I and IV just re-inserted it in with a higher quality image of the original sprite). This version just happens to be really faithful to the original sprite compared to the other two. Also possibly a reference of Omega being a dimension hopper like Gilgamesh.

Just finished watching the ending.

One of the endings is a cliffhanger.

I am dead serious. Right now, we have no official confirmation if this is the normal ending or a multiple ending.

 

multiple endings huh? Kinda like FFX-2 where if you do different stuff the game does different stuff, but this time the ending huh? I guess they're trying to make it that a person will want to play more to get different endings

 

Right now, I have no idea what the hell is going on. Me and my mates at FFFXN had this two-hour talk about the ending. I shall wait until the entirety of the story is revealed.
