DLC Costumes sketches.

 

I'm really lovin' the box's design. I think it's worth a wee bit extra since you'll be getting the OSt with it.

I hope they'll have costume DLC for others instead of just Serah, Noel and the monsters. Though, those do look cool.

 

Getting a vibe of The 3rd Birthday and Red Riding Hood in them. Though, out of those sketches there, only one can be picked to be DLC.

So I'm reading the new issue of GameInformer and there's a couple of pages on XIII-2. The guy who played said that in the beginning, Caius lays a lifeless body to rest in Valhalla. Any idea who? Caius also apparently transforms into Chaos Bahamut (probably old news, but I didn't know this).

Also, Noel falls into Valhalla and Lightning recognizes him from visions she's been having. so she gives him Mog to give to Serah. Serah later recognizes Mog from her dreams. So it looks like there's going to be a good amount of visions in this game (unless that's it >>).

But something that intrigued me is that when Serah is asleep the night before she meets Noel (in the beginning), there's a time rift in her room or something. When she wakes up, she's wearing different clothes. That seems...significant. It can't just be a way to get her into combat-ready and sexy clothes.

 

So she's wearing XIII's attire, and suddenly changes into XIII-2's attire? Maybe Noel has something to do with this.

Also, Caius is awesome.

 

Maybe those are meant to be from Agito and Versus XIII? Because that's what they make me think of

 

The black costume reminded me of The 3rd Birthday. It's like an Aya Brea/Lightning fusion.

 

So now not only can we use monsters to battle other monsters, we even get an appropriate costume to go with that idea.
It's time to d-d-d-d-d-d-d-DUEL!

 

I'm impressed with the Crystarium improvements. But whenever I see Noel....let's just say, it's Pokemon themed. Same with Hope and Phineas.

I still hunger for more screenshots.

jeez, what the heck is Caius that he can do all of that? Kinda rediculous.

 

Caius is apparently the strongest opponent in Final Fantasy history.

And his also called...Caius Ballad? No official confirmation yet.

 

Yeah, I'll say. I mean, Sephiroth is rediculous as well, but even he had his limits on stuff. The biggest I've seen is him use like Meteor or cut a giant pipe in half.
This guy just raises his sword and he ends up casting a spell like that, and even lifts up the ground. Are they going to actually explain why he's attacking Valhalla, or, like I said, what he is?

Although, would that make him stronger than Chaos? I thought Chaos was supposed to be like a sort of Diety or something

 

Caius is apparently an

immortal guardian of the timeline. He might be trying to kill Lightning so he can stop Noel from changing the timeline with Serah.

But if he's an immortal guardian, how do you kill him? Or better yet, what was he doing when all of the events in the first Final Fantasy were going on? But if he wants to stop the timeline from changing, why not just kill Noel, instead of Lightning? Or is he killing Lightning because she was dragged through time?
Actually when I think about it, was Noel in the first game? Because I was thinking of one of the trailers and when Lightning was dragged by that darkness, it was like that was the point that time travel became possible

 

Damn.......Mind blown. I may want to get this game after all.

 

It's incredibly confusing, but when the game comes out next month in Japan we should have the information we need about Caius.
