Square-Enix Final Fantasy XIII-2?

Dunno if the preorder bonuses will be the same in the EU but I would go for the novel since I read that the other two would be available for purchase.

Also, the OST will be available on the 14th Dec, the day before the game's release.

You can get an alternate costume for serah? I wonder what that would be like. And having Omega as a companion, now that would be cool.

 

We are still awaiting images for the Calamity Blade and..I forget Serah's DLC Weapons name.

Didn't see this posted yet, the theme of FFXIII-2 apperantly. I find it hilariously inappropriate with the footage I've seen of the game. It sounds pretty generic to me, but oh well. I just thought I'd share it with all ye FFXIII-2 people!

Hmm , the first final fantasy xiii , the story line was beautiful , but the battle system was really hard for me to work with. plus..the bosses , were so hard for me to defeat. Barthandelus was the worst , and after getting to vanile's summon , i just quit. so i'm really wondering how this will be. the trailer nice , but i don't think the battle system has changed though , but maybe i will be able to get far in this one..though i'll need to try finish XIII to get the story line completely..

Valhalla sounds like a fun place. Was that the Shiva Sisters fighting Kaias in the beginning?

I also read something among the lines of "Twilight Odin" on another forum. Hm...

They were wearing Red/Crimson armor though, so maybe it's like Chaos Bahamut?

Man, that trailer had to be one of the best so far. I mean, it looks even more cool now.
So that trailer is basically saying that Lighting was dragged to the future? Dang it, I wish trailers weren't made so you had to play the game to understand exactly.
But is thel lightning in the future the one that saved cacoon? Or is it a future version of her?

 

I think Lightning and Caius (?) can summon Eidolons at will. Since it seems the Shiva sisters were helping Lightning. Also, I noticed that Snow thing too. Square, you better not be going in that direction >:

 

Looks like Hope's going to have a pretty decently sized role in this~

Maybe there's different versions of Eidolons? Or their nature differs depending on who's controlling them?

As for the song, when it first started, I thought it was a good match just like the first one, but after a bit, I didn't like it.

 

I think there is Chaos Eidolon's (for Kaias) and Twilight Eidolon's (for Lightning). I could be wrong.

Though it would be cool. :3

 

Also, it looks like Serah's Full ATB move is Ultima Arrow, unless they changed the ATB system and I read it wrong >>

 

The flames around the corner scream it, it's her full ATB move.
They may have 1 of those per Paradigm now, maybe. Who knows.

 

Does anybody know what those monsters are attacking Valhalla? The blue bug looking machines?
They're also the monsters that attacked New Bodhum when Noel rescued Serah.

ouch. That's pretty harsh

 

Although I love Snow to bits, he seems more of a Do Now, think later person to me.

Hopefully that's not the case now.
