"Well... I had a family... Until just before the war..." She sighed "Everyone died... Except me... Then the war came and I wound up on the streets, stealing what I could to survive. Running from the guards. Living my life alone..."

"Not much worse than mine."

 

"Maybe so... But I found Cian, his family took a liking to me and I was pretty much looked after by them in a werid kinda hard to believe way. Then we were older we moved in together, as roomates. Nothing more... Then one night... that thing happened... and everything changed again not long after that..."

 

"Shelia took me in. Actually she is my step sister but doesn't know it."

 

"You said about her taking you in... And how does that work?"

 

"She had her own place. Three bedrooms. I had to sleep in the one with the clowns."

 

"Clowns?" Cajia asked, cocking her head in a puzzled manner

 

"I don't know why."

 

"I'd rather not know..." Cajia laughed

 

Ty smiled at her.

 

"Anyway." Cajia continued, determind to keep the coversation going.

 

"So what were Cian's parents like?"

 

"Well... Balthier is kinda... Well, cocky. It was completly his fault that I got p*ssed for the first time. The prat." She laughed "And I didn't speak to Fran so much. That's why he's a male veria if that's what you're wondering. Goes against most of nature but it worked somehow." Cajia smiled

 

"Akward but okay."

 

"Awkward?"

 

"A Veria child."

 

"I try not to think of both how he came about and how growing up must of been for him. He only just started to accept the ears a little while ago."

 

"At least they didn't name his something stupid."

 

"I supose that's something to be grateful for." She laughed
