Square-Enix Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster

No no, I totally understand peoples frustrations. But I think square needs that..."symbol" of their company, for the longest time it was Cloud and now they want some one newer, ergo, Lighting.

But I think she will drift off after XIII-3 is out and done with. Unless they make another Dissida which she will be in every promotional piece ever.

 

Yeah, but at least they didn't put Cloud in the FFIV DS remake or something. :x (Ironically, Cloud's my favorite male FF character...)

Again, I'll get over it, I mean, if some super special miracle happens and Lightning Returns is uber-spectacular (not just in Japan, pretty much a world-wise consensus), maybe people will be opt to buy the remaster.

 

And see I feel like the thing is that if it was Cloud people would be like "OMG CLOUDDDDDDDDD EVERYWHERE! YEAH! LIFE!" But the fact that is a character that (outside of Japan, some small circles, and France) didn't resonate with people. They will try again. I have a feeling that if Final Fantasy XV is as epic as I am hoping it will be that Notics might be the new "face".

Honestly...I am not very happy with how it sounds thus far. I will buy it no question...but I don't like the 13 days crap and it better explain how things when from the end of XIII-2 to this. And WHY isn't it named XIII-3 WHY!!!!!!! /rant

What were those Final Fantasy VII graphics?

 

FF VII ? There' s just one Genesis picture popping up when they ask if they' re looking into a CC or DoC remake, which is rather apropriate. I take it you meant VIII and what' s the deal with all those Triple Triad cards ?

Triple Triad has had a life of its own beyond FF VIII, online multiplayer modes and real life augmented decks are now available. We can see the guys from FFDream and Finaland showing a few real cards to Toriyama and Kitase at 1:25. I don' t know who brought that up or why, but I could ask them if you really want to know.

Taking their sweet time giving us a date, I get the feeling it's gonna be one of those "Oh by the way it's out tomorrow!" type of games.

There's no way they'll do that. If they market this well, it could be a huge cashgrab for Square. If they are stealth releasing this, then there's even less hope for Square than we thought.

I'd buy that. Certainly beats playing FFXIII-2.

I'm wondering if the reason they haven't announced a date yet is due to some things within the game still being worked on that holds back an exact completion date or of they're gonna give a decent amount of time between KH HD and FF X HD to optimise sales. I could see it being a Christmas release.

I'm getting some shaky reports saying Gamescom confirmed FFX HD will come out in October.
Crrently looking for something more solid, but though this might interest some people

 

Hmm, interesting, because I'm hearing some rumors that it'll come out after PS4 launch, but eh, my sources are also shaky. But I'd love to see it come out in October.
