Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"Uh huh..." Tidus said thoughtfully as they continued onwards until a huge bird descended upon them. "A flyer! That's your department right!?" Tidus asked he drew out Brotherhood and Wakka nodded. "True true...but...uh...why don't we let our summoner show us what's she made of?" Wakka suggested. "Your first real battle! Let's see some style!" Wakka said as Lulu stared at Yuna. "Show us what your trainign has taught you Yuna." She said to her.

 

Yuna nodded and held out her staff, she called upon the same strange looking bird from yesterday. "Alright, Valefor, lets show everyone what we can do." Valefor nodded and flew into the air and performed a move called Solar Beam.

 

"Valefor? That's it's name?" Tidus questioned hismelf in his thoughts but everyone jumped abck for Yuna's Aeon to shine as the bird was going to attack Valefor.

 

Valefor dodged and did Energy Ray, killing the bird. Yuna patted its beck and called it back.

 

Another bird was soon approaching at a alarming speed, obivously angry at it's fellow brethen being killed as Tidus reached for teh Brotherhood but then he heard something as teh bird fell to the groudn in front of them as it stood on it's legs as multiple holes were in it's wings as Tidus heard a click and he turned around, see a white haired person wear a very strange outfit as his red eyes were clearly visble, his weapons were something of a gun but with blade like ends attached at the end, he coudl tell this guy wasn't even from Besaid.

"Glad I followed you guys when I did, you would of been bird food by now." He said as Tidus looked at him. "Who are you!" he asked immedately as the boy pulled the triggers a few more times as the bird fell and became pryeflies.

 

"Dean!" Yuna smiled and hugged him.

 

Dean put his guns behind him in their respective holders before being hugegd by Yuna as he almost lost his balance but regained it rather quickly. "That surprised me you know Yuna." He said to her as Tidus realised who this is. "So, you're Dean?" he asked as Dean rubbed his white hair a bit.

"That's me, I heard about you washing up here, same way I did mind you." He said as Tidus's eyes widened a bit. "Are you one of her Guardians then?" Tidus asked as Lulu shook her head as Wakka continued onwards. "Wakka's against the thought of it." She simply stated as Dean stared at Tidus.

"He does have good reason to do so, I only know my name and nothing else." He answered as Tidus looked at the two. "Are you two...together?" he asked, pointing between them and Dean's eyes widened.

 

"No!" Yuna let go. "During my training, Dean was very helpful. I owe him so much."

 

Dean looked at Tidus. "That's about right, anyway, I decided to travel along and see if I can find answers about myself, well, shouldn't we get moving before that boat leaves?" Dean suggested and Tidus nodded as they continued to the beach as villagers were gathering to bid Yuna farewell as the boat departed.

Tidus messed around with one of the crew, taking the binoculars and seeing Killka Island in the distance with them ebfore usign them to look at Yuna as Dean laid himself on the upper deck, legs strenched out under the umbrella as Yuna was crowded by people.

"Word is that summoner's got noble blood!" Oen said and another spoek up. "I hear she's Lord Braska's daughter!" as Tidus was confused. "Lord Braska...daughter?" He asked and got no reply as he approached Wakka.

"So, is Yuna's father famous or something?" he asked him as Wakka looked at him then to Yuna. "She's the daughter of High Summoner Braska! You saw his statue at the temple. Lord Braska defeated Sin ten years ago. Yuna's the heir to a great legacy!" Wakka satted with pride as Tidus thought about it and stared at her.

"It's tough...when your father's famous..." He said as Wakka was confused and Lulu was nearby as she spoke. "Wakka's...a bit lacking in the imagination department." She said as Tidus laughed. "Thanks Lulu, I'll keep that in mind!" He said and noticed the crowd disperse as he approached Yuna.

 

"The wind......" She said. "It's nice."

 

Tidus nodded and tried to hold in his laughter but he couldn't, it was a strange way to start a conversation. "Say...about Dean, what did you mean by you owe him in your training?" Tidus asked, he wondered what she meant by it.

 

"He protected me and helped me in my training." Yuna began to laugh as well.

 

"Then in what..." Tidus started to say and recalled Lulu's words, she did say Dean saved the villagers on the road when fiends might attack since he never lived within it. "Forget what I said." he said to her

 

"You're a blitzball player, aren't you?" Yuna asked. "From Zanarkand?"

 

Tidus was surprised and looked at her as he thought about it. "How does she know I'm from Zanarkand? Maybe it was Wakka?" then he spoke. "You hear that from Wakka? Wakka doesn't believe me at all." He said honestly.

 

"But I do." Yuna smiled and said. “I heard in Zanarkand, there is a great stadium all lit up, even at night. Great blitzball tournaments are held there and the stands are always full.”

 

Tidus was even more surprised and he knew he had to ask. "Where did you hear about that?" he asked her.

 

"A man named Jecht told me." Yuna smiled at the memory. "He was my father's guardian."

 

Tidus was surprised and unhappily mumbled the name as he rested his hands on the rope as he looked ahead. "My father...his name is Jecht!" He said to her.

 

"Amazing!" Yuna was surprised and did the prayer. "Our meeting must the blessing of Yevon."
