Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Tidus was brought out his thoughts as he heard her voice and found her talking to him as he spoke in response. "I'm...uh...Tidus...I'm sorry about that. Wasn't that... Wasn't I not supposed to... Guess I...kind of overreacted." He said a bit embarassed.

 

Yuna shook her head. "No, I was overconfident."

 

Tidus knew he ahd to the subject quickly and he remembered and he spoke."Um, I saw that aeon thing. That's amazing!" He said with amazement.

 

"Really?!" Yuna was happy to hear that and asked. "Do you think I can become high summoner?"

 

Tidus was about to answer until the little girl spoke up. "Lady Yuna, come play with me some more!" She said.

 

Yuna turned to Tidus and smiled, "Tomorrow, then." She said.

 

"Tomorrow?" Tidus asked, confused about what she was saying.

 

"We're going on the same boat, aren't we?" She asked.

 

"Oh really?" Tidus asked her again, he didn't hear about a boat earlier.

 

"We can talk more, you can tell me about Zanarkand." Yuna left with the little girl.

 

"Zanarkand? She knows about it but from whom...Wakka maybe?" Tidus thought to himself as he returned to Wakka who had his arms crossed. "She's cute, ya?" He asked him and Tidus nodded. "Yeah!" he said honestly as Wakka stared at him sternly. "Don't get no ideas." he said as Tidus looked at him then to Yuna who was back with the old couple and the girl.

"No promises there, big guy. Hey, but what if she, like, comes on to me? Tidus asked him as Wakka spoke. "That's not going to happen. If you get tired, let me know. I had a bed made for you." He said to him as Tidus argeed. "Yeah, I'm tired now actually." he said as Wakka nodded. "Good. sleep tight."

Later on in the night, Tidus awoke and shouted out under the impession of the dream he ahd about his old man with Yuna, Rikku and Kari. "I hate you!" He said and realised he wasn't dreaming until he heard the voice of the same female guardian.

"He's dead, okay? Dead!" as Tidus walked to the entrance of the tent and pulled the sheet apart slightly, seeing Wakka and the woman outside. "He does look a lot like Chappu. I was surprised, too, the first time I saw him. But no matter what he looks like, he isn't Chappu. You shouldn't have brought him here in the first place! The woman said firmly.

"Yeah...but...he needed our help..." Wakka said in reponse as the woman stared sternly at Wakka. "Excuses again?" She asked him and Wakka looked away from her eyes. "Yeah, but..." he started ot say but the woman spoke up. "That's it. no more, enough Wakka!" She said sternly and left as Wakka headed back to the tent and Tidus stood at the side until he came in.

"Scary! So...who's Chappu?" Tidus asked him, curious as to what they were tlakign about as Wakka sat on his own bed and Tidus followed him and sat on his, across from Wakka's. "My little brother, Chappu, he looked alot like you." Wakka said honestly with a bit of a sad tone. "He's dead?" Tidus asked him.

"He was with the Crusaders when they fought Sin last year. He didn't make it. I first heard on the day of the tournament." Wakka said as Tidus remembered what Wakka said about it. "Oh, so that's why." Tidus realised as Wakka spoke again. "I became a guardian to fight Sin, ya?" Wakka said and Tidus looked at him. "Revenge?" He asked him.

"That was the idea. I'm more worried about a stupid game now than avenging my brother. Well, after the next tournament, I'll be a guardian full-time. I know it kinda looks like I'm using you, but I'm not." Wakka said hoenstly and Tidus was surprised but spoke up. "Don't worry. I mean, I owe you a lot. You really helped me out, you
know? What I mean is...thanks, Wakka.

Wakka stared at him and he looked away. "Stop, you're embarrassing me!" He said as the two eventually went to sleep, the morning soon came as Tidus came out of the tent and saw Wakka and the woman from before. "Hey sleepyhead! Got something to give you!" Wakka called over as Tidus was handed a amazing sword, the blade seemed like water was running through it and he swung it once.

"That's the sword you gave Chappu." the woman said and Wakka looked at her. "Well Lulu, he never used it. Where's Yuna? he asked and Tidus spoke up next after the question. "We're taking the same boat as Yuna, right? Why do we gotta wait here?" he asked immediately.

"Yuna came to this village ten years ago, when the last Calm started." Wakka started to say and Tidus was confused. "The Calm?" He asked but Wakka continued. "Since then, she's been like a little sister to me and Lulu. But she had the talent... She became an apprentice. Now, today, she leaves as a summoner. Wakka said clamly as Lulu had spoken up. "This is our journey... We should leave together."

Tidus's eyes wandered and he found Yuna coming out the temple with a big bag of lugguge as Lulu spoke. "You really don't need all that lugguge." She said loudly.

 

"They aren't mine. They're gifts for the temples we are to visit." Yuna said.

 

"This isn't a vacation Yuna." Wakka said loudly to her as he stared at her.

 

Yuna sighed, nodding, and left the luggage behind. She looked around, "Is Dean coming too?"

 

"Dean? Who's that?" He asked Wakka who just grunted and walked on ahead as Lulu had spoken up. "A young man who stays away from the village and uses the enviroment around Besaid to watch the villagers to save them from the fiends that appear on the road. Wakka...and him, don't exactly get along." Lulu said and Tidus wondered what she meant as Lulu started walking and Tidus followed suit, knowing Yuna was behind,

There were a few fiends but Tidus quickly grasped the new sword named Brotherhood's weight very well and attacks, Lulu did give the basics on elemental affinities as well as seeing Wakka's expertise with the Blitzball being used on airborne enemies until they reached the top of the hill.

"Take your time." Lulu said to Yuna as Wakka bent down at the anicent statue to pray. "What's going on?" He asked as Wakka answered. "It's an ancient custom. People leaving the island pray here for a safe trip. Chappu didn't pray that day. Said he'd miss his boat." Wakka said and stood up. "That should do it!"

 

Yuna looked at the village from the hill and sighed. She turned to leave.

 

Tidus rna on ahead until he heard something move and saw something blue come down from thr ruins ad it was the same blue skinned warrior from the Trials as the being roared at him and started at him with calcutive eyes. "Is he...testing me?" Tidus thought to himself and loosely held Brotherhood's handle and moved quickly to strike the creature.

 

Yuna gasped as the creature attacked back.

 

Tidus used his speed to recover his groudn immedately and prepared another attack as Wakka called out. "That's enough!" Wakka said as the figth was stopped as Tidus withdrew the Brotherhood as the blue humanoid left without a word. "What's with that guy?" He asked aloud as Lulu spoke.
"Kimahri Ronso, of the Ronso tribe. He's learned the fiends' way of fighting."

"That's not what I meant!" Tidus said in response as Wakka walked by him. "He's another of Yuna's guardians." he said as if it was natural.

 

"Sometimes we don't understand him either," Yuna told him. "Kimahri doesn't talk much anyway. But he was protected me since I was a child."
