Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Dean followed the road...well tunnel before noticing it was a rather large cave that had a path continue on. "...All this?" He asked himself, before he sensed something and dived forwards, rolling before looking to see what came down to him, it was just a huge rock that sealed the way he came. "Can't go back that way..." He said before notcing somethign familar..."Pryeflies?" He asked himself before notcing a figure emerge from their shape seeing a man who had hair as grey as it could get but he was certainly tanned and wore what appeared to be a regent outfit of a army, in his hand was a huge mechincal sword and Dean knew who this was.

"Volsung!?" He asked in surprised as the man pushed his glasses up to his nose. "What are you doing here!?" Dean asked once again gain but there was no response before Dean sensed something else. "No...you aren't him...you are that hatred of the wall between races and chosen to take on his form from my memories."

The 'Volsung' laughed. "Impressive, you deduced that from my presence?" he asked and Dean had a look of seriousness across his face. "I fought a being like you before, so tell, what are you repre- Of course, you are representing all of the hatred of the Ronso that were killed by Seymour...or the hatred of Sin?" He asked and the man nodded. "Both."

"What do I call you because I'd rather not call you by the man who tried his best to bridge the wall between races and was overcome by it." Dean said and the man chuckled. "How about...Pride?" He asked and Dean nodded as the two begun to walk in a wide circle.

"So Pride, what's down here?" He asked and Pride spoke. "Relics of a old world long forgotten by time." He said and Dean was surprised. "Zanarkand?" He asked and he shook his head. "Not by that name." as Dean's voice came again. "You aren't one of the unsent are you? Or a Dream of the Fayth?" He asked and pride blinked. "That is a question I do not know, perhaps you came to these conclusions because you yourself met such cirmcustances?"

Dean was reminded of Tidus and Auron when asked that question. "I have and they were perhaps the greatest men I ever knew, but I don't like bringing up the past Pride, we focus on the future." He said and Pride asked a question. "Because you don't belong in this era, don't try to deny it, I have seen the entire world through it's hatred. You held a Aeon inside yourself and with surprsie, you didn't become the next Sin, why?" he asked.

"Because I clung onto my humanity and I acccepted the fact I might of died against Yu Yevon, but I had someone to return to even though we are from different times." He said and pride raised a eyebrow. "What are you?" He asked.

"I'm Dean Stark, ex-guardian to Yuna and I'm known as Johnny Appleesed, a title passed down from a girl I once loved and Nightburn's successor." He summoned his guns in his hands and Pride chuckled. "You are a man who interests me, as you humans say, bring it." before the two charged at one another, sword gun and Dean ducked, firing shots that missed as Pride amnaged to evade them as they were back to back and turned around ducking and side stepping each other before Dean flipped forwards, landing on the huge sword pride wielded and fired but Pride leant back to avoid it and shifted teh weight of his hufe sword to throw Dean off course as he fired two shots to propel himself in the air and pointed his guns at pride who swung his sword, energy bullets and sword collided, creating a firey surrounding aroudn the two as their eyes were hidden by their hair before it died down and Pride laughed.

"Your reflexes are one to be admired!" He said and Dean got into a stance. "I'm flattered." He said sarcasrtically before pride was serious. "Even if you defeat me, I will return again as long as there is hatred." as Dean gave a smirk. "What's so funny?" He asked and Dean spoke. "Too bad, I know a few people who can stop the hatred of Spira, Lukya and Daichi can change that because they cna do anything as long as they don't give up, I hammered those words into my friends and it's sort of their goal, so, I don't have to defeat you." he said before firing upwards and made a mad dash for the contineud path as athe roof caved in quite quickly upon Pride, crushing him as Dean breathed quickly. "Never do that again..." He mumbled and continued on.

A girl in a green dress and white hair sat in Lukya's view with ocean blue eyes with her hands on top of one another. "Oh a visitor?" her soft voice sounded as she turned to stare at the arrival. "Welcome to the Farplane, I am Avril vent Fleur." She gave the kindest smile to Lukya.

Lukya looked at Avril in surprised and stopped. She remembered seeing her before grabbing her dress and giving a bow, "Honored to meet you. I am Lukya Maria Guado, a companion of Dean."

OOC: Lukya's name is from the Hidden Truths prologue, in case you forgot.

BIC: Kari ran into Daichi and swallowed hard. "Daichi, someone's taken Lukya. I don't know where, but promise. Stay calm until we find her." She gave him the items she found and left quickly, not wanting to be around him for any longer.

 

Avril blinked her eyes at the word Dean. "Ah of course I recall now..." She said before stand up, hands at her sides. "Dean is someone special to me despite what we experienced during our journey together with everyone." She said and smiled. "However, I suppose your concern is as to why you're here correct?" Avril asked and took the answer from Lukya's eyes.

"I see... well, I do not know who brought you here but rest assured, you aren't dead." She said before a voice called out to her. "Hey AVril! ther-" It was the redheaded girl with her pink clothing and cowgirl boots as Avril smiled. "Ah Rebecca, This is Lukya Guado, remember her?"

Rebecca placed her hands on her hips. ""Of course! She's one of Dean's friends right?" and Avril nodded. "Then what is she doing here?" She asked and Avril responded "Not a clue, most likely she brought her against her will... Anyway, wasn't there something you wanted to tell me?"

"Oh yeah! That blonde-kid is gonna fight his father one-on-one again, can't they think of anything besides brawling each other?" rebecca put hsi hand to her forehead as if growing a headache as Avril chuckled lightly. "They just prefer to solve things that way Rebecca."

Lukya's eyes widened at who they were talking about and she asked, "Rebecca, can you take me to see them? One of them is a old friend of mine." Lukya tried to hide her excitement.

 

"Who, that guy? I suppose unless he wanders off again." Rebecca said and turned on her hell and begun to walked as Avril walked alongside Lukya. "Things here have gotten interesting after Sin's defeat, although I shouldn't dwell on things that have occured in the past, tell me, how is Dean holding up in Spira?" Avril asked as Rebecca leant in to hear Lukya.

 

Lukya tried to think. "I haven't really talked to him. He drifts from place to place and basically talks to Rikku on the commsphere. But he's doing alright, last I saw he was cheering for the Gullwings in the tournament." She smiled and sighed.

 

Avril chuckled. "A Drifter huh, sounds like him." She said and Rebecca spoke. "Oh please, Dean only wanted to be a Golem Hunter, I swear he geeked out at anything Golem!" Rebecca said anooyingly and Avril smiled. "That's what made him who he is, after all we were rivals for his attention." Avril said and Rebecca nodded.

 

Lukya smiled when she remembered his story from the campfire at Zanarkand two years ago. "He's found someone new, if that's alright. A Al Bhed girl he first met when he lost his memory and later came to love after a little teasing from Tidus. But if it wasn't for that, or Rikku's own tease of riding the Chocobo, they won't have gotten at that far. And neither me or Daichi."

 

Rebecca's jaw dropped. "He's actually dating someone?" She said in surprise as if teh next great calamity was about to emerge as Avril chuckled. "Why not? He can't stay alone forever, even if he was kidnapped against his will." Avril said the three women were approaching a crowd of pryeflies before a familar voice sounded.

"I told you before old man! I'm winning this one!" he said out loud and a gruff laugh came from the same direction. "Sure kiddo, just don't wet your shorts before I'm through with ya!"

 

Lukya listened to the voices and watched the pyreflies formed the two familiar shapes. She figured she would wait for Tidus to notice, though she wasn't sure if he would recognize her in her new outfit. With a sigh, Lukya thought about Seymour, her brother, and wondered if he would appear.

 

"the living should not be here" Said an all to familiar voice

"oh come now Sir Auron you mustn't be so uptight...after all its been how long since you seen each other?" said a familiar female voice

Lukya gasped when she heard the voices and then heard another voice. "She's right, Auron. Was this lovely young lady your companion a while ago?" She watched the pyreflies formed the shapes of the people she had known and seen. She shook and couldn't find the words to speak to her old teammate.

"hmph if you recall this is the land of the dead" Auron said as he silently walked near to Lukya

"heh and now I can see why Ryo idolizes you so much" the woman next to her sighed as she walked beside him revealing it to be Salina

 

"Auron, I can explain!!! I was waiting for Kari in the Calm Land, and went to investigate a strange noise I heard! When I woke up, I found myself here, then I met Avril and Rebecca! I asked Rebecca to take me there to see Tidus and Jecht! I missed you, though........ And it's great to see you again, Lady Salina...... It's a honor to actually meet you, Lord Braska." Lukya made a custry with her dress. Braska smiled and petted her head. "Just call me Braska, young one."

 

Salina couldn't help but let out a little giggle "aww you made her nervous Sir Auron" Salina said with a smile as she looked at Lukya

"hmph none the less it is nice to see you too" Auron said

"my my my this girl Lukya sound like one to get in quite the amount of trouble" said the man suddenly as he floated to the side of Kari. He looked as if he was laying down on an invisible bed

 

Lukya nodded at Salina and smiled. "Honestly, I don't know why I'm here, how to get back to the surface, or who brought me here......... And I'm worried for Kari." "I see....... Tell me, how has my daughter been doing recently?" Braska asked, Lukya explained to him everything that had happened.

"And how do you know where the little princesss, Mister Mystery man?" Kari asked, looking at him annoyed.

 

"well lets just say she is not in this world anymore...one could say she is in the world of the dead" the man said

 

Kari's eyes widened. There was only place the dead went, she recalled Yuna performing the Sending two years ago and waiting for her and the others with Rikku and Auron in front of that place. "She's....... She's in the Farplane?! What's she doing there?! Who did she get there?! Is she still alive?! Is she alright?!"

Bio: Qui Young Chin is a friendly young man who speaks broken English, most likely because he came from a different part of Spira. Many mysteries and questions come up around his past however, he's helped the Gullwings a few times before without really revealing much about himself. His broken English is a consequence of his inadequacy with other people, or..it could be a clue to his jumbled past. Either or, he is friendly, and somewhat mysterious.
