Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Story~ Sin, the creature that brought with it, a spiral of death endlessly as the true culprit was none other than Yu Yevon, taking Final Aeons to craft them into new Sin's, however, exactly two years ago to a day, a Summoner named Yuna crossed paths with a man claiming to be from Zanarkand as the man slowly learnt about Spira itself from Yuna's Guardians.

Tidus, this man became Yuna's Guardian along with Auron, his caretaker and mentor who was once Braska's guardian himself, they journey leads them to many places and a plot that threatened to destroy Spira as Seymour, one of the Maesters of Yevon, planned to save Spira by becoming Sin.

However near the end of the journey, Tidus discovered he was but a dream of the Fayth and when they destroyed Yu Yevon, he'll disappear, another of Yuna's guardians, Kari had the power of the Final Aeon without any sacrifice's and another was a young man who held an Aeon within him, but these people did not fade as Tidus did.

Now, two years later, sphere's and ancient ruins are being discovered all over Spira as Sphere Hunting was born, the people of Spira allowing Machina to return to their lives and the Al Bhed becoming a part of Spira’s society once again, but Yuna decides to travel once more when two of her Guardians bring a sphere that held the image of the man she loved and lost... Will Yuna find Tidus and end her story and his on happy endings? That's what we're going to find out!

Got permission from Protecter to restart it. This is the sequel to Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Memories (made by Protecter212), however the plot does remain the same except OC's are thrown in with their side stories.

Romance is accepted but PG-13 people!

Bio: A guest engineer to the Gullwings when he met Lady Yuna, then he asked to join full time. When asked why, he said he wanted to fulfill his late father's wish of traveling Spira with a well-celebrity, and Brother immediately made him the bodyguard and protector of Yuna since she was the high summoner. Lockon is quite knowledgeable since he was a former scholar of Yevon who left when he discovered the truth. He respects and honors Lukya as the Guado leader and has faith in her choice of a lover. Aqua's machina pet seems to like to bite his hand, while he hides his guado features with machina.

Bio: Devln has devoted himself to protecting Lady Claire. After Home was destroyed and the attempts to rebuild going well, he found a better use for his mechanical skills and fighting style. It's the reason he differs from most Al Bhed, for his love of his sword and preservance of honor kept him at a distance from his kin. He speaks when spoken to and not often offers his opinion on matters.

Bio: Claire grew up playing games. When she heard of the High Summoner's trials, she thought it would be a good idea to visit those places and see what games awaited her. She met Devln, who has been a loyal protecter of the seemingly defenseless girl, in the Al Bhed desert where she had wandered looking for the places Yuna and her guardians had traveled. Claire was supposed to have grown and trained into a Summoner but she failed and has always resented Summoners for their special recognition.

Bio: Stefan is an experienced soldier. He has fought in many battles, and lost very few. He is a thief that values treasure greatly. Agile and nimble, he is extremely fast on his feet,which is useful in his proffession. He has heard of Yuna's past accomplishment with the help of her guardians,and seeks to join them in order to gain treasure.

Bio: Woke up one day at the age of 10 with complete amnesia, not knowing a thing about her past, anyone or who her parents were. She only knows of her first name because of a tattoo found on the back of her neck which says in small letters: (Haruka 273). When she made her way wearily into Luca she was on the verge of collapse and taken into a medical facility. The authorities were called to see if any young girls had been reported missing, but there was no trace of anyone looking for a 10 year old red headed girl at all.
She was taken into an orphanage where she has been ever since. Now 15 she works behind the scenes at the Blitz arena and tries to live life the best she can. She gave herself her new surname Hotaru (which is Japanese for Firefly) after her and her friends were hanging out and a Firefly decided to land on top of Haruka's head, it's warm glow matching the colour of her hair, to which all of the girls laughed.

Name: Maylene Oraboros

Race: Half Ronso, Half Human
Appearance: Like Daichi she is half Ronso. She has bright green eyes and pink hair which she ties in a side ponytail and just as pink fur on whitey greyish skin (she has a lot more fur than Daichi). She however is way smaller and petite than other Ronso... even Daichi as she comes up to about 4ft, she also like Daichi has no horn and her face appears rather human... although she does possess some feline like features and she still has a tail. She wears Ronso styled clothing and because of her small stature, surprisingly takes the ranged and magic approach to battle instead of the rough, and brutish style the Ronso are known for.

Ultimate Dresspshere: Feril Maiden.
Bio: She like Daichi had a tough life being Half-Ronso, however she didn't choose to flee the mountain. 2 years ago, she witnessed Daichi and Kimahri's fight on Gagazet, and now regards Daichi as her hero since he was able to change the view on Half-breeds. However that changed when Seymour arrived. Biran and Yenke, in the spirit of wanting to help Maylene after everything that happened with Daichi and Luna, forced her to run away while they and the other Ronso barred his path and were then slaughtered.
Since then, the survivor Ronso have adopted similar views to half-breeds again because of Daichi (being a half-breed) having relations with a Guado, and none the less... Seymour's very own sister. Maylene still however regards Daichi as a hero. She continues to live on the mountain under Kimahri's protection and looks up to the elder Ronso like a father figure.

Bio: One of the new recruits of the Gullwings as Yuji is kind hearted and does what he can to help those he sees but he will turn serious when the situation arises, he is also the partner of Shugo who is usually left on the airship to provide intel since Yuji’s the fighter, when the two first met, they used the DoubleGrid to become a warrior with half the powers of their own spheres, becoming a new and powerful force, Yuji’s side handles the body transformations while Shugo creates the mind transformation, together, they become a two-in-one warrior, the left crystallized eye flashes when Shugo speaks through the transformation.

Bio: Another new recruit to the Gullwings as Shugo tends to look up anything he finds interesting to him, he also can delve into Spira’s Library which records all information of the world, he is more of an information gather than a fighter but he can fight alongside his partner Yuji during their transformation as the DoubleGrid requires the two be in synch for it to fully work so Shugo provides the Memory Spheres that are available for use, he does have a 4th Memory, Fang which acts independently of it’s own will and protects Shugo when he’s in danger for an unknown reason, when the two first used Fang, their roles are reversed and the transformation ended, Shugo felt like he was losing a piece of himself to the berserk nature of the form so, he vowed to never use Fang again as the Memory disappeared for a year.

Bio: Compared to his friends Ren was a pretty descent fighter, granted that didn't mean much since none of them had any real combat experiences. Probably the only combat they ever saw was the occasional fight they got in with one another. While this was fun while it lasted, Ren eventually got bored with it and wanted to explore. Forunatly for him, his wish came true. As soon as he found out that he could leave and explore the rest of the world, he gladly took the offer.
Weapon: Broadsword

Yuna, Rikku, and Paine relaxed in the hot spring Kari told them from her mission. Yuna decided to take a bath in the hot spring and Rikku decided to join her while dragging Paine with her unwillingly. The rest of the team chose to do things on the mountain while Aqua chose to guard the entrance. She stood at the entrance, holding her machina dragon, Starlight, waiting for the girl to get done.

Kari knelt in front of Salina's statue, placing rare Bikanel desert flowers she found in the desert island. She kept her head bowed as she stood up, "I have decided to try and become a master spearman to save Ryo. Even if I can't find the spear, I need to try and do something. I only wish I could have meet you and the man Ryo called his brother when you were alive. Farewell...... Lady Salina......" A tear ran down her face and she walked away. Walking to Luna's monument, Kari reached into her pocket and placed some Bikanel desert flowers with some flowers from the Moonflow in front of it, then continued down.

Lukya was talking to some Ronso who weren't as hostile, trying to make friends with them. Lockon was fixing the teleport at the base while some of the Ronso were watching in surprise. Rei played a flute and played the Hymn of the Fayth when Kari appeared. She walked up to Kimahri, "Kimahri, I have a favor. Teach me how to use the spear. I want to know the feeling you had when you wielded that weapon two years ago on the pilgrimage. Please, a favor from a former fellow Guardian."

 

Staring out to the sea in Besaid, Ren stood there wondering what do to next. The view is nice and all, but I've come here alomost twice a day. Looking up to the sky, he wondered what this day would hold for him. he knew that the answer wasn't just going to fall out of the sky, so he left the beach and headed back towards town.

 

Kimahri looked at the girl he had become so familiar with, but alas he shook his head. "Kimahri no can teach. Spear is something you must feel within self. Only way you master is through own strength. Kari strong like Ronso. Kari can do this alone."

Daichi leaned against the nearby mountain wall as he watched Kari lay flowers at his sisters grave. Other than that, he spoke of nothing or did nothing but observe. His mixed feelings for the mountain weighing on his mind.

Haruka lay asleep in her bunk, back on the airship... exhausted from her recent ordeal of transforming into the Aeon of Fate. Maylene sat nearby, tinkering with some gun parts as she decided she felt someone should at least watch over Haruka.

 

Kari nodded, and looked at Lukya, who was getting spoiled by the Ronso she was talking to. She smiled and walked to the airship, waving at Kimahri. Lukya walked up to Kimahri and watched her, then sighed as Yuna, Rikku, Paine and Aqua came up. Lukya smiled and tied a yellow ribbon to Kimahri. "Here, Kimahri. Though I'm not sure if you need one, but something help you remember him."

Lockon finished the teleport and walked into the airship. He sat down next to Maylene, tired and laid his head on her shoulder.

 

Kari walked out onto the deck of the airship and looked at the sky, she sighed and said, "Hey, clown boy..... Gilgamesh, I heard you control this Rift thing. I need to talk with you, so if you can head to the port city of Luca................" She sighed and stopped, feeling weird after talking to thin air like that. But she wasn't sure if Gilgamesh could take the message.

Lukya climbed and walked up to Daichi. Her thoughts were on the shock of Seymour's revelation of killing the Ronso and what she had gone through to just to be forgiven by them. She sighed and hugged him, grabbing his hand. "We're going to be heading for Luca for the Blitzball tournament and the Sphere Break competition. We should be heading back to the airship."

 

"I AM NO CLOWN" suddenly yelled the proud swordsman. Anger filled him and he could not help but yell it out to the heavens. After an awkward silence Gilgamesh looked over at his faithful companion Enkidu who was just staring at him in confusion. "err..hmm...dunno why I yelled that out" Gilgamesh said a bit curious on why he would yell such a thing. Nonetheless Gilgamesh shrugged his shoulders and cast the confusion away "Alright next stop is Luka" Gilgamesh said and and crossed his arms "at least I hope I get the right place" Gilgamesh muttered. Without Ryo it was much more difficult to reach his destination. "Very well onwards my faithful companion" Gilgamesh said as he took out his blue sword and slashed the air infront of him, causing a portal to appear. Upon opening the portal Gilgamesh laughed and jumped in. Enkidu merely sighed as he followed the red swordsman. Trying to make sense of Gilgamesh's actions would be a near impossible task

 

The Gullwings boarded the airship and flew to Luca. Lukya entered the cockpit and told everyone what she had been told by Wakka through the comm-sphere. "Apparently, the Aurochs are so busy taking care, or rather, spoiling the baby they won't be able to make it. They want the Gullwings to play in their place."

"But who will be on the team? Obviously Rikku, Kari, and Daichi will be on the team. And I will, too!" Yuna said, smiling as she remembered her training. Rikku nodded and smiled, "Of course!"

Kari smiled and nodded, "I was a member of the Al Bhed Psychics. So, it's time to refresh my blitz skills. Paine, you any good?" Kari turned to the black-clad member of the group. Paine nodded, "I can play."

Aqua smiled, "I'll play too." "But you're only a child!!!!" Brother shouted, Aqua sighed and said, "I'm over a thousand years old and know how to play blitzball, Shuyin taught me."

"Looks like the team is settled, and just in time." Lockon said as the airship approached Luca. When everyone got off, immediately after she held onto Starlight, Aqua's machina dragon, Lukya was dragged away to announce the tournament. Kari smiled, and waved at the other, "I'll meet you in the locker rooms. Gotta do something first." She walked into the city and looked around.

 

Dean stood within the stands of the stadium as the spehere that contained teh Blitzball field was filled up with water as he chuckled a bit at the scene before him. "Trust me to watch this huh." He said as people to take their seats, no-one could tell he was the same former Guardian of Yuna's that long ago.

"Last time I came here was seeing the Aurochs win the tournament against those Goers... seems liek they've kept the pace up every time since then." He thought to himself as he rubbed his hair messily, he could play this game if he gave the time and focus to play but he did feel his future didn't lie in this game, but now Luca Stadium was used for concerts.

"Spira's certainlly moving on from the devastation Sin always left behind." He thought to himself but then eh continued. "But... I can sense a ill intent somewhere in the world, but where... I can't place it... and the Aeons..." he thought before placing a hand on his chest. "I'm just a normal human now, should I be happy Skieth's gone?" He thought, restign hsi arms on the side to watch.

"Maybe after this game, I'll see if I can catch up with the Gullwings." he thought.

Yuji was sat at the bar in the ship, he never was one for such blitzball as his partner Shugo was researching Blitzball through Spira's library where the beds were, funny was it he sat on Rikku's.

 

"bwahahaha" Laughed Gilgamesh as he descended from the sky and landed face first upon the ground out of Luka's port, along with Enkidu silently landing gently. "gah need to work on that" Gilgamesh said as he jumped up to his feet and shook his head "the great Gilgamesh continues his search" Gilgamesh yelled

 

Kari looked at the sky and ran to where Gilgamesh and Enkidu landed. She facepalmed and sighed, "Hey, Gilgamesh, over here!!!!!" She looked at the monitor which showed Lukya nervously standing where Yuna stood two years ago for her speech.

Holding Starlight in her arms, Lukya swallowed a lump in her throat and spoke, "Hello, everyone. Welcome to this year's Blitzball tournament! We have many talented teams competing for the cup this year and one team even has the High Summoner with them. So, have fun, everyone, and play fair!" She sighed after afterwards.

 

Walking up next to Kari Gilgamesh walked up and crossed his arms as he glanced over at the monitor and watched Lukya make her speech "hm my she was quite nervous there. You can see it on her face. Though I will give her credit for making such a speech for such a high crowd

 

"You can't blame her. She's got a lot on her plate, what with her brother's actions two years ago. The little princess has just recently been able to improve relations with her people and the Ronso while worrying the living daylights out of the Gullwings." Kari put her hands behind her head and smiled. "But she'll been be able to do a lot than her brother. Looks the Gullwings won't be playing til the second rounds. Looks like we have time to talk."

 

"huh? and talks about what exactly little lady" Gilgamesh said keeping his arms crossed and turned to face the girlfriend of his partner

 

Kari sighed and looked at the swordsman, "I'm going to become a master spearman to help Ryo. Even if I can't find the spear, Gae Bolg, I've gotta try. By the way, I would like to ask you something." Kari took out the sphere he gave her. "How did this help you start your journey? Wasn't the man in the sphere? All I saw was a man bound in chains, filled with all the hatred, anger, agony, and pain of the world, questioning why it was him."

 

Gilgamesh place his hand on his chin and began to think "hmmm well it was around when Ryo started getting headaches. He claimed he saw dreams about a man and well once he saw the sphere well he figured it was something special that needed investigation. We found some good info about it but most of it came from Ryo himself" Gilgamesh replied

 

Kari sighed and sat on a nearby bench, taking out one of the gems. She gripped it and looked at the sky, smiling. Putting the gem away, Kari began to the blitz stadium, "Hope you can stay for the game, Gilgamesh. Everyone deserves a break."
