Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Dean was hearing whispers from the kids, passing it on and laughing, for one brief momemt, he saw an angry and embarassed Yuna when she arrived, it was kinda cute to see actually expressing her emotions reather than being stiff in her Summoner days.

Dean sweatdropped. "She'll kill me if I told her I say a few stories of the journey in different towns." Dean thought, for a moment, the former Terror of Death saw Death personsifed in another form or mayeb there where the spirit of Death comes from, ticked off women and his only hopes were either ride off on monowhell or pray Rikku defends him or third, pray that some enity will save his butt.

Yuji exited the temple as he breathed some air. "Good place for a holiday at least." He said to himself

 

"I would help Yuna and the Gullwings, with you." Lukya said. "I know many people can never forgive my brother for his actions, but he left me this position for a reason. And I intend to fulfill everything I told my people and him."

Rikku entered the temple and stood by Dean. She smiled and held his hand.

 

Daichi smiled and put his arm around Lukya's shoulders.
"You've become strong... I'm glad to see you still possess your resolve and spirit... Not many would have lasted as long as you in your shoes..."
He thought back to the Lukya of two years ago.
"I still remember that young girl from two years ago. That young girl who was a lot stronger than I was back then and even still now. And yet... she still thought that I was the one protecting her." he said gently while looking at her.

 

Lukya smiled and laid her head against his chest, thinking back as well. "I remember when you were surprised as I came running into your arms. Kari wasn't the only one who helped get me out of my shell. The other was you, a young man who found love in a girl despite the differences in race, status, or how cruel her brother was."

 

Dean saw his hand held by Rikku and looked at her. "By the way...What's with your previous outfit?" He asked her, blinking, yup, he was still dumbfolded abotu ehr appearance, sure she had expsoed her figure with her outfit, he wouldn't be surprised if other men oogled at her, then again if they did, he'd 'accidently' run over their legs and 'apologize'

 

"What? You didn't like my default dress, Thief?" She asked, smiling. "Yuna, Daichi, and Lukya were surprised to see it as well." She looked at Yuna, who was praying at her father's statue.

 

"Damnit, she caught me out." He thought to hismelf held up his ahnds. "No no, I like it! It shows your cute figure!" He said and he realised what he said. "...I played right into her hands, damn, she's got me around her finger that time." he said and slumped hsi arms down, he now admitted defeat, yup you seen and heard it, Dean admits defeat.

 

He remembered some words he had said back then and he repeated them.
"Lukya is still Lukya."
He sighed in contentment, being in this moment with Lukya like this was heaven.
"You helped me too... If it wasn't for you. I'd be on a much different path than I am now.
You still fell in love with me... despite the differences in; Race... Status... and the fact that I was an angry fool, blinded by the desire for vengeance."

He knew how lucky he was to have her with him.
He hadn't made things easy. After what happened on Gagazet with Seymour... he had in his anger and grief reacted in such a way that he was still surprised even today that Lukya had still had feelings for him back then despite it all.

 

Back at Luka suddenly a portal appeared in the sky and both swordsmen fell out of it. Groaning from the pain of the fall Ryo stood up rubbing his head "this isn't Bevelle" Ryo said

"Give me a break I never said controlling the Rift was an easy thing. To be honest that was the first time I successfully got to my destination" Gilgamesh said jumping up to his feet "besides we can't keep on relying on the rift. It might suck us up and we my never get out" Gilgamesh said and shuttered "and believe me that place sure is spooky" Gilgamesh said

Ryo sighed "yeah your right" Ryo said as he looked ahead at the stadium up ahead "things should have calmed down by now" Ryo said

 

Lukya smiled and nodded. Kari was watching them in the pathway to the beach, she thought about Ryo and wondered if he was doing okay with Gilgamesh. Touching her two ribbons, Lukya placed her hand over Daichi's on her shoulder. She looked at him and smiled, remembering the first kiss they shared on the airship two years ago.

Rikku smiled and hugged him, then went to Braska's statue and prayed with Yuna. Aqua looked at the statue of Yunalesca and shook, gripping her dragon tightly.

 

Daichi looked at her and smiled too.
"That smile... is something I want to protect." he said quietly.
He blushed slightly... but that was okay. "...I'm still not good at saying this sorta thing... but..." he paused and trailed off..
since he found he couldn't speak, he just decided to act.
He tilted his head over as she looked at him and bought his lips to hers, kissing her softly.

 

Lukya closed her eyes and kissed him back. Kari blushed and smiled, watching them. Like with the kiss on the airship before the final battle, Lukya hoped this moment would last forever. She had wished that Seymour would be happy to see her like this with Daichi now and he would be proud of her.

 

Yuji decided to check the stores as Dean was looking around, Besaid was never attacked, probably because Sir Jecht resiste dthe impulses to do so, either that or he realised that such a small town wouldn't cut for the destruction, Kilka however, was rebuilt and expanded even more on it's shores, but since there wasn't any soild ground, the monowheel had to be shfted to Luca's departing boat,

"If I had Asgard, he'd hover right over that!" Dean thought with a grin, since he found his old guns, Twin Fenrir in the ruins he visited, Asgard must be somewhere, waiting to be awakened as Dean withdrawn his said weapons, his hands instantly remembered how he fought with them and what he could do with them, not to meantion they were built just for him, last time he used these was against the spiritual entity that was the embodiment of the people who attempted the same thing he once did and failed.

"Heh...I wonder what they'd say if they saw me now?" Dean thought as he remembered his old friends, taking the time to remember some of the times he had with them.

Bio: The self proclaimed enigmatic legendary swordsman. Not much is know of him, some say he just randomly appeared in Spira out of nowhere. Him and Ryo work together to find the many blades of legend across Spira. After finding out that spheres may be able to help in their search the two of them became sphere hunters. Over the year the two of them have become very famous sphere hunters although all that is know about them is that one of them is cloaked in red and the other is the supposed High Summoner who supposedly disappeared after defeating Sin
Weapon: He wields a variety of weapons, most of them are swords. Some of them considered legends

 

Yuna finished praying to her father and looked at his statue. She wondered if he would be proud to see the way she was now, she smiled and thought yes he would be. Thinking about her pilgrimage two years ago, Yuna couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if Kari had been accepted as the Final Aeon and remembered what she said before the fight against Yunalesca. It was her and Rikku being her Guardians that helped bring the Al Bhed back into Spira's society, not Lukya as a Maester or Kari's near sacrifice. She sighed and walked into the village.

BIC: Daichi broke the kiss after a few moments had passed... he wished that he didn't have to, but, they couldn't stay like that forever as much as they wanted it. There would be other moments.

He looked at her...
"I guess I want you to know that...
I love you." he said quietly and gently, as if saying them too loudly would cause the words to lose meaning.
"I really do..."

 

"I know you do. And I love you, too........" Lukya smiled. "Lets get back to the village. Yuna and the others are probably wondering where we are." Kari had left before the kiss was broken off with a smile on her face.

 

"Yeah." He offered her his arm, as they walked slowly back to the village.

 

Lukya smiled and took his arm, walking with him to the village. She looked at the surroundings as they walked, "I find it no wonder Lord Braska wanted Yuna to live here, this place is so peaceful. And no one seems to care that I'm a Guado. I only wish Seymour was here to see how happy we are now."

Yuna sat on the steps of the temple and looked out at the village. She placed her hand over the pouch on her belt and sighed, some children came to her and asked her to tell them some stories from her pilgrimage. Yuna smiled and told them of when Kari received the power of the Final Aeon and how worried she and the others were, especially Lukya.

 

"I'm sure he is very proud of you, as is your father too." Daichi told her, remembering the man known as Seymour..
He still held a deep hatred for the man, but he had also made his peace after Seymour's sending.
Of course, Lukya knew that he would never be able forgive Seymour, but that's just how it was.

As they walked back, suddenly some kids came up to them running around them and yelling happily things like:
"Those are the two from the stories!"
"Oh wow, you're the leader of the Guado! You're so pretty!"
"Please, can we see your swords?!"
"Can you sign this?"
"Do you have a tail?"
"Um... lady Lukya, I picked this flower for you..."

Daichi looked at Lukya and smiled before kneeling down to their level and starting to answer their questions.
Although... he did insist that he had to refuse the request of allowing one of the young boys to hold one of the swords.
