Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Daichi listened to Aqua's singing.
"So young... and she can sing so beautifully." he commented.

Yuna listened to the song Aqua was singing, as she thought about what was known about her. She was found in Guadosalam by Yuna when she decided to join the Gullwings with Lukya and Daichi. Apparently, all she knew was her father playing some kind of organ with bright lights around them. Yuna sighed and listened to the song.

 

Shugo's eyes opened and spoke to Yuji. "Turns out, Spira doesn't know anything about Gilgamesh being on this world, fascinating, if Spira's library doesn't know this, what is he?" He said in thought and Yuji hit Shugo aroudn the head lightly. "Control your obession partner, last time you did this, you ate too many cakes and gotten heavy, it was a nightmare to even get you back into shape!"

 

Daichi overheard the two young men talking.
"You're talking about Gilgamesh?
There was this legend I heard long ago, but I doubt it has anything to do with that clown." he said to them.

 

Aqua was finished singing and Kari looked at her from her seat, "Where did you learn that song?" "I don't know." Aqua said shyly. "I only remember my mother singing that once." Kari looked at her and sighed, leaning back in her seat. Yuna went to Shinra to check on the sphere analyze.

 

"What kind of legend?" Shugo asked with interest and Yuji rubbed his hair. "I'm holding you responible for whatever happens Daichi." Yuji stated.

 

"Many many years ago, before even Zanarkand's time there was apparently this King. He was known as the King of Heroes, or the King of Kings. He went by a few names, but his true name was Gilgamesh." Daichi paused, recalling the legend.
"They say that he was in possession of every treasure the world had to offer. Weapons, gold, jewels... Everything. His treasury was grand, bigger than probably even Luca in terms of size." he paused again looking at the expression on Shugo's face.
"That's how the legend goes anyway." Daichi finished.

 

Lukya thought about the legend Daichi told Shugo and Yuji. Kari sighed and yawned, and said, "Is that sphere analyze complete, Shinra?" Lockon groaned as Aqua's dragon bit his hand again, and tried to get it off. Aqua smiled and watched them.

 

Shinra spoke. "Sure is, there's a recording on here though...lemme play it." SHinra said and pressed play

Shugo was fascinated. "Then Yuji, next time we see him, we should ask about him!" Shugo said with interest and Yuji grabbed his book SHugo always held and whacke dhim over the head lightly. "Geez, you're like a sponge, absorbing everything until your satsified."

 

Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Lukya, Kari, and Aqua watched the sphere. It showed some people in Zanarkand from long ago, a old man's voice was heard, "I can't believe I actually got a ticket! What a thrill, to be able to shake her hand like that!"

"Think it's worth anything?" Yuna asked, Rikku said, "It's not very exciting." "Junk." Paine said, Kari groaned and shouted, "So I fought Ryo for nothing, just great!" "All that work........." Lukya said and sighed.

 

"We can use it a dressphere though." Shinra stated and modifed it a bit as he handed the girls the Black Mage dressphere.

Yuji heard the alarms go off, meanign they've found another signal or something among those lines

 

"Incoming data. Gullwings, to your stations!" Buddy shouted, he said to Brother, still laying on the floor, "How long do you plan on lying there?" Brother got up and said in Al Bhed, "Aqlica sa." "What is it?" Yuna asked, Buddy answered, "The treasure sphere data you've been dying for. There's at least one on Besaid Island... ...and another in the Zanarkand Ruins."

"So, where to?" Rikku asked, smiling, Yuna decided they should go to Besaid to at least show Wakka and Lulu she was alright. After the airship dropped them off, Yuna thought to herself, 'This must be how a runaway feels after finally coming home. This is the first time I've returned to Besaid since my journey began.' Yuna stared at the village entrance, she had run off with Kari and Rikku when they showed her the sphere, she said, "I'm a little nervous." "I bet, the way you took off without a word." Rikku said.

 

"Since when did our bed-hair Yuna become so bold?" Daichi teased slightly.

 

"What, Yuna? With bed hair?" Yuji asked Daichi, finding it hard to believe, then again the image is funny within it's own little way.

 

Yuna was embarrassed and looked at the village, she placed her hand on her ribbon and sighed, "I hope Wakka won't too mad at me." Lukya looked at the village, smiling. She thought at least no one could hurt her here since there was no Guado haters in Besaid or so she heard from Yuna. "Yeah, you said it." A familiar voice said, it was Wakka. "You caused quite a fuss, young lady." "I'm sorry." Yuna said, Wakka said, waving it off, "Well, as long as you're okay, ya? Your friends?"

"Oh, this is Paine. And over there is Yuji, Lockon, and Aqua. We're looking for spheres together." Yuna introduced her former guardian to her new sphere hunting companions. Lukya smiled and waved at Wakka.

 

Yuji blinked at the man, this was another of Yuna's former Guardians he remembered. "Well, it's nice to meet you sir." Yuji said in reponse as he rubbed his own hair as he took notice of something nearby a monowheel was parked outside the village walls. "Whose is that?" Yuji had to ask.

 

Rikku smiled when she saw the monowheel, Wakka said, "It belongs to a old friend." Yuna noticed the monowheel and smiled, walking into the village with Wakka and the others. "So you're a sphere hunter now... I heard the rumors. To tell you the truth, I wasn't too worried. Gotta say, though... You, uh, do seem pretty different." Wakka said, Yuna laughed and Rikku elbowed Wakka in the stomach, "You haven't changed a bit, tubby!" "Whoa! Cut it out, ya! I'm going to be a father soon. Got to have a little more presence, you know?" "How much longer?" Yuna asked

"Any day now?" Wakka said, Rikku smiled, "Wakka, a daddy!" "To tell the truth, I sure don't feel like one. I mean, how do I know how a father's supposed to act in front of his kid?" Wakka said, Rikku said, "Why not just do what your parents did?" "Hm, don't remember 'em. Sin saw to that when I was still little." He said, Yuna asked, "You don't have any spheres of them?" "Nope, not a single--" Wakka stopped suddenly, Rikku asked, "What's wrong?" "Oh, uh...nothing, nothing. Anyway, do me a favor and go say hi to Lu. She's been worried about you. Get going!" He said.

 

In the past 2 years, Daichi's ability to read people had not diminished in the slightest.
He could tell Wakka was blatantly lying. But... he decided he wouldn't pursue it. Instead he took Lukya's hand and said, "Running into so many old friends after so long, it's so nostalgic."

 

Yuji walked into the town, curious to see the peaceful village

Dean was bent down where Yuna once stood for her summonign of Valefor as children were laughing. "Then, as soon as we were going to leave the temple, Yuna came out and guess what happened?" He asked as the children spoke. "Tell us!" and Dean chuckled. "She had bed hair!" He said as they fell on the ground, laughing as Dean chuckled a bit and looked up ahead at the temple.

 

"Dean!!!!!!!!" Yuna shouted and walked up to him. "Quit embarrassing me in front of the children!!!!!" Rikku ran to Dean and hugged him, "Hey, Dean!!!!!!!!!!! You look so great!!!!!!!" Kari sighed and walked up to Dean's side, "So, how's the former Terror of Death doing?" Lukya smiled and held Daichi's hand, "Hey, Dean........."
