Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Kari left the cockpit and went up to the deck, looking at the clouds that passed. "What can I do......... to help you, Ryo?" She changed into her new dress-sphere which named Blacksmith, and went to the bar. Heading for the relaxation room, Kari laid on a bed and fell asleep.

 

"Heh... two of Team Besaid in parenthood..." he muttered. "2 years ago... we never thought we'd see a day like this."

Haruka listened to Dean more as he told his story.
"...these experiments... I am sure I'm from a different time to you and Kazuhiro...
The visions I saw of the past... I wasn't around at all, I'm sure of all of that...
that and... well your Aeon's prevented you from ageing and dying...
My Aeon doesn't do that... so I must have... Well, my guess is, it was fairly recent that 'this'... happened to me..."

 

"I'm sure that their child will be cute." Lukya said, smiling. Rikku smiled and nodded.

 

"hey there loser" said the voice of Ryo. Appearing in the dreams of Kari stood Ryo back in his normal state

 

Kari was surprised and shouted, "Don't scare me like that, you jerk!!!!!!!!"

 

Ryo closed his eyes and smirked as he shrugged his shoulders "I can't help it...Its what I love to do" Ryo said

 

Kari glared at him with a stare that could kill a person. "Alright, what is it you want? Besides ticking me?"

 

"besides..tricking you?" Ryo said raising his eyebrow and suddenly began to laugh hard "so it has come this far that you can even tell which one of us is talking to you" Ryo said as his laughter died down and turned away from her "my mind is going crazy...But I know that it hurts me to know that you can tell its the real me" Ryo said

 

"I want to help you, but I'm no master spearman. I don't think I can wield the spear to help you." Kari said, looking at her feet. "And I don't know when I call the one who can help me." Tears began to fall down her face.

 

"what?" Ryo said confused about what she said. He was totally unaware of their plan

 

"It's nothing. Nothing that you should care about." Kari said, looking up and wiping her eyes. She looked at him, "Is there anything you need to tell me or something like that?"

 

"you must kill me...its gone too far for me to do it myself. We can't allow a being like him to be released...I dont want the eternal calm to be shattered" Ryo said

 

"Who is him? Though I won't hesitate, I just want to know who he is that you're referring to." Kari said, not looking at him.

 

"I have no time left" Ryo said as his body started to fade "when you have the chance seek the man in the Bikenal desert. He will explain all" Ryo said

 

Kari watched his body fade away and woke up, sweating. She ran into the cockpit, "Buddy, quick change of course! Head for the Bikanel Desert!" Buddy looked at her and nodded, changing the direction. Yuna and Aqua looked at Kari, confused.

 

Shugo was curious as to why Kari would immediately change the course but then the airship was flashing red alert. "What now!?" Dean asked as he heard Shinra. "Someone's on the flight deck but how is that possible?" He asked as Shugo had a strange feeling as to who it was.

"It's him." He said and ran to the elevator. "Him? Who's him!?" he asked as the lift opened up and true to SHinra's word, there was Eternal, lookingat everyone.

"Where's your partner? Or did you change to someone else?" He asked as Shugo shook his head. "No, I'll always be Yuji's partner!" He said as Eternal drawn his dagger. "I see, well, I suppose I'll take you back." He begun to say and began to run at him but then he noticed something small on Shugo's shoulder, it was Fang, giving a little tiny roar as it changed to sphere form. "Here we go, Yuji." Within the resting room, Yuna would notice Yuji sit up, shirtless despite being injured with banadges and held up the Joker Sphere. "Yeah, Shugo..." he said as Yuji slot in the Joker Sphere and fell onto the bed, eyes closed while upstairs Joker's sphere appeared in the slot and Shugo slot it in then Fang, the transformation into FangJoker taking place.

"You're awake Yuji?" Shinra asked in a little surprise. "You got that right..." He said as the white arm cupped it's imaginary chin. "I'm surprised, are you sure you're all right Yuji?" He asked with some concern as the right eye flashed. "Don't worry about me... Just hurry up and finish this so I can get healed.." he said as Shugo let out a little laugh. "Roger that." he said and pressed down on the horn once.

"Arm Fang!" The voice said as he charged at Eternal who leapt back and Dean held his guns up as Eternal noticed the others within the room had their weapons drawn. as the Arm Fang clashed with his dagger and with a kick, sent him flying back into the elevator as he stepped forward and closed the door, sending them up on the deck as they fought on top.

Eternal groaned. "Even when injured, you two still fight as hard as ever, guess I have to give you a reward." he said, removing his sphere and slot it into the dagger. "Eternal, Maximum Drive!" as Yuji's voice sounded, the right eye flashing.

"I don't like the looks of that." Yuji said as SHugo's sounded. "Then let's go with our own Maximum, you can do it right?" He asked as Yuji let out a low laugh. "Of course, just hurry up will ya?" he asked as the horn was pressed down three times. "Fang, Maximum Drive!" it said as blue aura overtook him and Etrnal charegd at him and Fang delivering a roudn house kick as the two maximum's collided, causing a small explosion as Eternal was flung out from the smoke and left behind as Shugo removed fang then the transformation broke and Yuji awoke in the bed. "Geez, He let us win that time..." he said lowly.

 

"When will you two beat for good? Or it that possible?" Yuna asked. Kari smiled at them and looked at the window.

 

"Highly doubtful, I was actually trying my best to match Shugo's movements despite being injured and I think Eternal knew we weren't fighting at full strength." he said as he reached for a potion on the beside table, sipping it.

"I know what everyone's goign to say, don't worry us liek that again, don't worry, that Twin Maximum Drive shouldn't be used all the time, it injures the body greatly since you are using two powerful attacks combined into one, there might be a way to use a Twin maximum without the negative effects, anyway, bring me up to speed on what happened while I was comatose."

 

"Not much really," Yuna said as she began to explain everything. Buddy stopped the ship at Bikanel, Kari looked at everyone, "I'm going alone." She hopped off and began to travel the desert.

 

"I see, so that spear's going to stop Ryo, but kari isn't exactly a master at being a spear-wielder, it is similar to the staff we use, just longer and only one bladed end." Yuji said calmly, he was fully healed thansk to that potion and ether he recently drank and got otu fo bed, still shirtless, surprisngly, he had a developing six pack from constant fighting, he wouldn't be surprised if there were fangirls right now.
