Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Kari carefully grabbed the jewel and held it gently. She bowed at Salina and stared at it before taking out the gem Ryo gave her.

 

"please you must stop my brother before the blade is fully released. If you fail then the seal will break and 'he' will be freed once again" Salina said disappearing.

"if someone like him gets released...sends shivers down my spine...well at least from the stories I heard" Gilgamesh said

 

"That won't appear," Kari said. "I care about Ryo as much as Salina. I will make sure that seal doesn't break." She lightly gripped the jewel in her head.

 

"here catch" Gilgamesh said as he threw a sphere at her "this was the sphere that began our quest. I held onto it for a while. I suggest you watch it when you have the time" Gilgamesh said walking away "if you wish for more information seek the old man that lives in Bikanel desert" Gilgamesh said

 

Kari caught the sphere and looked at it. She smiled and turned away, "Thanks, Gilgamesh."

The airship arrived at the Highroad agency, Lukya said that she, Aqua, and Maylene would stay on board as Rikku stepped out.

 

Dean waved as he had his monowheel lenaign aginst one fo the pillars of the agency as he noticed Rikku, Haruka and Shugo approach him.

"What's the probelm?" He asked them.

 

"We'll let Haruka ask you first." Rikku said, turning for her.

OOC: BB's off to dreamland, so gotta wait.

 

"I want to know if you can go into your Aeon form." she said to him.
"I did it... and since the Aeon's have come back... I think that's why it's possible...
Which means... you may be able to do it again as well... but there's something else. If it's possible for you to do it... then... that could mean..." she trailed off.

 

Dean listened and he thought about it. "I don't think so, Skieth was within me and forcibly ripped out by Yu Yevon, plus the Aeons were supposed to rest in the Farplane, of course this doesn't mean I haven't tried it." He said with honesty. "But like I said before, the Aeons we held within ourselves were a form of ourselves we didn't know existed." He said and stepped forward to where Yuna sat during the journey.

"But if you want to see proof, I'll try and call him." He said and looked into the distence. "Come on, come on! I'm right here, Skieth!" He cried out and a brief flash appeared as Skieth hovered behind him and he turned around. "This is troublesome, at least my hair isn't changing colour... but why did he answer my call instead of become like the other Aeons who were Dark?" He questioned himself quietly.

 

Haruka looked up at the form of skieth...
"Dean. I now have another question for you.
With the return of the Aeon of Death... how likely would you assume it to be that the Aeon of Rebirth has returned?" she asked.

 

"What, Kazuhiro? That's impossible, he willingly accepted passing on and took the Rebirth with him, however, considering the situation we're all facing, anything should be possible now." Dean said thoughtfully.

 

"Those were my thoughts too..." Haruka said. "I think you should stick with us. For one, Rikku would love it I'm sure, and two... we need you. I've just go this feeling."
she looked down at the floor. "Dean, I hold within me; Oracle, the Aeon of Fate and Destiny.
...I don't know why, but... I can just feel that something is definitely amiss..."

 

Rikku blushed when Haruka said that she would love it and thought about how would Brother react.

 

Dean rubbed his hair. "Geez, way to put me on the spot Haruka... sure why not, of course I'm not a officla member of the Gullwings." he said and wondered something. "Dean, former guardian to Yuna at your service." he said with a mock bow.

 

Rikku smiled as he bowed, figuring Shugo would ask him his question soon and stretched, walking around.

Lukya smiled as Aqua was asleep on her lap. "She may be a thousand and six years old, but she acts like a regular six year old girl. I think Kari was right in saying that she woke up in a peaceful time." She gently stroked Aqua's hair.

 

"Sorry bout that." Haruka said, poking her tongue out. "I guess, with everything... I've been a little serious lately."

"Well... it's not exactly peaceful now, but it certainly will be... Though, I guess yeah, I mean... back then they were in the middle of a war."

 

"Shuyin was just trying to protect her and now........ I remember when I was younger, there were stories of a young girl sleeping somewhere in Guadosalam. When Seymour heard the stories, he often dismay them as a legend or some kind of rumor. But now I can see those stories are true." Lukya said, looking at her. Starlight flew in as Lukya's machina mole appeared.

As Kari waited with Daichi, she looked at the sphere Gilgamesh tossed to her and sighed. She figured it would be awhile before the airship came to pick them up and decided to watch the sphere.

 

The sphere showed a dungeon and in it was a man tied up in a bunch of chains. The man looked similar to Ryo but there were numerous differences

"DAMN YOU ALL YOU *******S"

"WHY...WHY ME? I HAVE DONE NO WRONG, WHY MUST I SUFFER IT, WHY MUST I ENDURE IT, WHY MUST I BEAR IT ALL"

"HUMAN KIND...IS NOTHING BUT SELFISH DOGS...DOGS THAT MUST BE SLAUGHTERED"

The man yelled all this and all sorts of curses as a group of men slowly walked up to him and the sphere ended

 

'Who..... who was that........ where was he......? Could he be the one Salina and Gilgamesh were referring to? Why did he look similar to Ryo?' Kari though to herself, as the image of the man tied in the chains kept replaying itself in her mind.

 

"Tell me Dean, what would you do if your opponent was incredibly strong and your only option was to use a attack that would injure yourself?" SHugo asked and Dean thought about it.

"If it were me, I'd be thinking along the lines of saving or protecting someone, no matter what would happen, sure I'd be out of it but the feeling and knowledge of knowing you may of saved someone makes a big difference that's what I think anyway."
