Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Ryo rested his broadsword on his shoulder like Auron as well and looked at Kari's position "that pose" Ryo said quietly. With Auron being his teacher who taught him how to actually fight with one arm it wasn't a surprise that he would adapt Auron's fighting position "well then...lets go" Ryo said

Gilgamesh watched the group that called him a clown "how dare you, I am no clown but I am the greatest swordsman of all time ." Gilgamesh yelled boastfully as another katana appeared in his hand and held the two katana in his hands

 

"...Then bring it on." He said as the purple side removed the sphere encomposing it's pwoer and inserted a sliver one as the left side change to a sliver color of metal as a staff materialized on the back and then the warrrior removed it.

"The best method is..." Shugos' voice sounded teh wariior charged at Gilgamesh. "Attack first!" Yuji's voice sounded as he swung at Gilgamesh as the power of wind was behind the strike.

 

Daichi watched the fight, continuing to lean with his back against a wall and his arms crossed.
The fact that Gilgamesh used to two Katanas did interest him slightly as Daichi also had used Twin Katana before they had transformed into his Celestial Weapons. Of course, Daichi always wielded them in a reverse inverted grip style.
He listened to what Gilgamesh said about being the greatest swordsman of all time and had to hold back a chuckle. "Those who have to boast about their power are usually covering for their own weakness." he said quietly.
He glanced at Ryo and Kari, he was interested to see how they would fight. He hadn't seen much of Kari's new style since she used to use a combination of a Blitzball and claw arm. But he knew the both of them were skilled fighters. That... and well, he wondered how the fact they were going out would affect them.

 

"your move Mari" Ryo said with a small smile. His left arm still covered by his cape

Gilgamesh jumped backward and raised his blades "Wind Slash" Gilgamesh said landing on the ground and slashed with his two katana. Upon slashing a gust of wind blew forward to counter the opposing attack

 

The warrior blocked the attack but skidded his feet along the ground a bit. "Looks like he too uses elemental powers." SHugo said and Yuji spoke. "Yeah... Looks like we may be able to cut loose this time, partner."

The warrior moved again and spun around, creating a gust around him as he attempted to connect with Gilgamesh and stabbed forwards as a flame was on the end and the wind died down, revealing the green half was now ruby red. "Can you keep up?" Yuji asked Gilgamesh before pulling back the staff and twisted around, switching the red sphere with the yellow now as he moved the staff as the end became elstic and unpredictable as it wnet for Gilgamesh.

 

"what the?" Gilgamesh said trying his best to dodge each blow and slashed away the elastic staff. Suddenly his twin katanas disappeared and two naginata appeared in his hand jumping forward Gilgamesh made use of the long reach of his Naginata and slashed at the warrior

 

The warrior pulled back the staff and turned around as the staff disapeeared as the sliver and yellow side changed colors as blue was on the left and red for the right, and in the warrior's left hand was a gun and he pulled teh trigger, shooting bullets of condensed power since Heat's power enforced the bullets to be shot out more powerful at Gilgamesh's exposed area

"Let's keep it going!" He said as the red side was swapped yet again for green as he pulled the trigger again, firing bullets of supersonic speed since the wind hastened the bullets power and the the left arm swapped the green sphere and return to yellow as the trigger was pulled again, firing big orbs of yellow which zigzaged and hit Gilgamesh.

 

Gilgamesh got hit and bounced backwards "not done yet" Gilgamesh yelled as he put his fists out and pointed them at the warrior "Rocket Punch" Gilgamesh yelled as two boxing gloves shot out from his fists. The boxing gloves flew straight to its opponent like a real rocket

 

"Judging by it's speed, LunaGunner won't catch it." Shugo's voice sounded and Yuji quickly swapped the Gunner sphere for the purple one as his arm bended and grabbed somethign to cling onto and let it pull him, moving from the rocket punch.

"That was close...We should probably finish this guy partner." Yuji said and removed the purple sphere and hit it in the side belt. "Joker! Maximum Drive!" it called out as the yellow creatign three copies of it's left side. "Joker "Strange!" the voice said together and flugn their arms at Gilgamesh with their hands balled into a fist.

 

"Will you ever learn, Ryo?" Kari said, running toward him and swinging her katana. "The name's Kari!!!!!! Founder of the famous Team Besaid!!!" Lukya, Yuna, and Rikku sweatdropped at Kari's comment. Lukya said, "And this is the girl who nearly became the Final Aeon?" Kari slashed at Ryo's left side.

 

"That's the girl that helped you come out of your shell, Lukya." Daichi commented with a small smile.
"The former Team Besaid's and now The Gullwing's very own; Kari."

He remembered the time when everyone found out about Kari's Final Aeon transformation and how worried Lukya had become for her.

"Come on Kari, finish him off already before Brother really does start to worry and really does try to leap off the airship!" he called out to her while still maintaining his position against the wall and his calm demeanour.

 

Kari distracted Ryo and took the sphere from him. "Ryo, honey, I do love you, but now this sphere belongs to the Gullwings!" Leblanc and her men appeared, Leblanc said, "It's obvious to the trained eye. That sphere's just a dud. Perfect for the Dullwings." They barely managed to dodge a shoot from Lukya's machine gun before leaving. Rikku laughed and turned to the airship, "Brother, mission complete!"

"Brother? He's not with you?" Buddy's voice shouted, Yuna turned to Yuji, "Yuji, come on!"

 

"pffttt If I recall I managed to beat Team Besaid to Zanarkand. Which reminds me that you made a bet with me" Ryo said casually as Ryo spun around and slashed her blade away from him with his own blade

Suddenly a pair of really long katanas appeared in his hands. One of them was held in reverse "sword dance" Gilgamesh yelled as he began to spin and slash at his opponent. His spinning slashes were pretty precise

Upon getting the sphere take Ryo was stunned "you little" Ryo yelled in anger and dropped his sword and held his head "calm down Ryo" Ryo muttered

 

The warrior nodded. "Sorry, we'll finish this properly next time clownman." He said and avoid the slashes as he kicked Giglamesh rigth in the face before breaking into a run for outside.

 

Kari blocked the attack and smiled, "Sorry, but gotta go now I've got our prize." She ran with the others and got on the airship. The group entered the bridge and Brother was lying on the floor. Buddy said, "He said something about Yuna being in trouble, then he just jumped ship."

 

Daichi face palmed.
"...See.. I told you." he said with a sigh.

 

"He's alive, right?" Rikku said, jumping down on the floor. "Just leave him there." Kari smiled as Paine walked to Shinra and asked, "Can you analyze the sphere we found?" She held out the sphere to Shinra.

OOC: Always loved that comment Rikku made, shows how much she loves Brother.

 

Gilgamesh fell down after getting kicked and got back up "heyyy no running away coward" Gilgamesh yelled and suddenly put his hand on his chin "this must be how it feels on the other side" Gilgamesh said remembering his own tactical retreats and looked over at Ryo who was on his knees "you alright?" Gilgamesh said

Ryo sighed as he got up and picked up his sword "yeah the side effects just kicked in for a second but they are gone for now" Ryo said shaking his head.

Gilgamesh sighed "its sucks that the sphere was taken" Gilgamesh said depressed

"don't be depressed the sphere was worthless" Ryo said

"WHAATTT and we fought for no reason?" Gilgamesh yelled

"sorry to have dragged you into the battle like that. It has been two years since I saw her so I wanted to spend some time with her...well fight with her like old times" Ryo said and sighed "but she left way to fast. The fight was had nothing to do about the sphere" Ryo said as he pulled out a gem "I was hoping to give her this personally after the fight but I guess I will just send it like the other" Ryo said putting the gem away and walked towards the exit of the cave "lets go partner" Ryo said looking over his shoulder at Gilgamesh with a smile

 

Shinra ndoded and took ti as he began to analyze it's contents as Shugo had his eyes closed. "Keyword, Gilgamesh." Yuji said.

Shugo was within a white space as there were many books on shelves. some highlighted words of Gilgamesh appeared and the books were sorting themselves out but there was a few books. "That doesn't help narrow it down, knowing his name, there's four different books some the search." as he heard Yuji's voice. "then let's add another keyword, treasure hunter and weapons."

The books sorted again from the hightlighetd words as oen book remained and Shugo picked it out then opened it.

 

Yuna decided to comfort Brother, she knelt by his side and said, "Thank you, Brother." "It was.... It's nothing." He said, trying to roll over, Yuna stopped him, "Don't strain yourself." Brother tried to hug her, Rikku shouted, "Sicko!" She kicked his leg and Yuna was surprised. She looked around for Aqua when she heard a soft melody being sung.
