Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"You're asking for this, Ryo. And I don't care that I'm fighting my summoner, I will beat you." Kari said, getting into a stance. Lukya remained behind them, holding Daichi in her arms. A clap of thunder echoed throughout the area.

 

"I see...all I am to you, is nothing more then your summoner" Ryo said closing his eyes and opened then revealing an intense hate. Running forward at Kari and let out a monstrous roar, this time his teeth were as sharp as a beasts

Anger and hate...that will make us closer

 

Haruka rushed forwards, light on her feet, the moment Ryo rushed towards Kari.
She easily lifted both of her blades and spun round, almost gliding on the ground like this upwards force was keeping her steady.
She clashed blades with Ryo, both of her heavy blades aimed in the same style of strike.
"It doesn't matter if you are a summoner or not.
You are still Ryo. That is what's important. The Ryo we know and care for is still in there somewhere.
The proof was in the Calm Lands."

 

'You're more to me than that. I'll bring back the Ryo I love.' Kari whispered, going forward and attacking him with her claw. The strength of the aeons through the Crests and Sigils flowed her body.

 

Ryo let out a snarl as his left arm let go of his blade and raised it against Kari's claw while trying to maintain the struggle against Haruka

 

Haruka, still locking swords with Ryo and with Kari next to her who was going claw to claw with Ryo, lifted up a leg and lashed at Ryo with the claws on her foot.
To not give Ryo the chance to jump back and evade it, she sent her long hair out to surround behind Ryo, preventing any escape.
No one else was around... but I saw it through the fate of the past...
You held yourself back after Daichi punched you.
Daichi could see it too, he still has faith in you as do we all.
Will you be the one to take control of your own fate Ryo?
Or will you let that sword be the master of your fate instead?

 

Kari glared at Ryo, tears in her eyes. She moved closer to him, slowly. "Ryo........ Go back....... Go back to the Ryo I love...... Say my name incorrectly..... Taunt me, whatever...... Go turn back already!" Lukya stared at her.

 

Ryo looked frustrated as he blocked the attack and struggled against Haruka. As Haruka's foot headed straight at him he didn't move an inch from where he stood

 

Kari looked at him and looked away. She sighed and gripped a fist.

 

Haruka's foot claws connected with Ryo's gut and slashed him.Then Haruka spun him around with her hair and back handed him with the hilt of one of her swords and sent him flying a distance away.
"Kari... I may hold the Aeon of Fate and Destiny, but I don't know how this is going to turn out or what we have to do.
I'm going to try and separate him from that sword though.
Hopefully that will give you the chance to get in and do whatever you have to do." she told her, taking a light step forward, still on her toes.
"Try kissing him." she suggested half jokingly. "I've heard that sort of cheesy thing works."
She then rushed after Ryo, who she had sent flying, at great speed.

 

As Ryo flew backwards he stuck his sword into the ground and landed on the ground. Kicking off the ground Ryo jumped forward at Haruka with his blade ready

Ready to continue fighting no matter the wound...the perfect body...the perfect host

 

Kari got in front of Haruka, defending her. Closing her eyes, Kari held out her arms and opened her eyes. Lukya gasped and looked away.

 

Ryo landed right in front of her and rose his blade. Looking down at Kari with a snarl Ryo just held his blade in the air and stared down at her

 

Kari looked back at him, taking a step forward. She closed her eyes and kissed him, crying hard. Lukya looked at her, wondering, 'Is she testing him?'

 

Haruka saw Kari jump in front of her and Ryo stop his assault.
She couldn't help but smile as she saw Kari kiss him. She had partially been joking when she made the suggestion, but who knows...
I still need to get that sword away from him... though...
"Now!"
Haruka threw both of her blades into the air and caught them with her hair, ready for a four weapon assault.
She still speeding forwards pushed herself with this upward force into the air and started twirling. She straight out smashed into Ryo's Celestial weapon with both her DaggerKnuckles and the swords she was holding with her hair.
"Come on!" she exerted her will, trying to force the blade out his hand while Kari continued to kiss him.

 

Arondight was knocked out of his hands and Ryo jumped backwards. Looking down at his hands Ryo's eyes widened and suddenly he began to laugh. Hholding his head he began to laugh like a maniac "so this is your plan" Ryo said as he laughed

 

Kari stood her ground and asked, "What are you talking? What's happened to you?! Ryo!!!!!"

 

"you honestly think that discarding Arondight will solve anything" Ryo said with a grin as he opened the palm of his hand appearing in the palm of his hand was Arondight

Upon the drawing of the blade we have grown a connection that surpasses merely holding the blade. We are connected...forever

 

Haruka stared at Ryo as the blade re-appeared in his hand."It's simple then... is it not?" she stated.
"If discarding it won't do anything... then destroying it will."
She threw the blades in her hair upwards and caught them in her hands again.
"If the weapon no longer exists... then neither will it's control over you."





Daichi who had been watching until now looked up at Lukya. He still couldn't move properly... but they were at a safe distance now since the fight had moved from them slightly... Meaning Yuji and Shugo were also safer.
He could hear the three who were fighting and what they were saying. "...Those two will find a way somehow..." he told her. "I'm sure he can still be saved. Those two can do it."

 

SHugo looked at Daichi. "Shouldn't the others try to help? they could distract him long enough." he suggested.
