Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Daichi was with them in an instant to see if Yuna was okay.
"You did great..." he told her...
That explains Aqua's past... and that guy's motive..."

Haruka had been next to them too. She gently stroked Aqua's for head while the girl was in Yuna's arms.
"Why did that happen? I mean... with the sphere screen..." she asked.

"Umm, Shinra said it might be some kind of, uh, interference with the sphere waves. Yunie's dressphere and the sphere screen reacted with each other and, uh... The consciousness burned into the dressphere was projected onto the screen! Or something like that." She explained, as she came up behind Yuna and gave her a gentle hug to her back.

 

"Okay, but that doesn't explain why it happened." Paine said, Lockon told her, "When I asked, he said, 'I'm only a kid.'" "It's Lenne. I was singing her feelings. During the song, I could feel them welling up inside until they just...burst." Yuna said, holding Aqua close in her arms, Kari looked at her, "So the people we saw were Aqua, Lenne...and Shuyin?" "Everyone's waiting. Let's go." Paine said. Yuna shook her head and stayed on the deck for awhile longer.

 

Ryo stared at the airship before him and without noticing it his arm suddenly went to his back and grabbed Arondight's handle running forward to the air ship, Ryo's hand was shaking trying its best not to draw the sword

 

Yuna looked up and saw Ryo running the airship. Kari gasped and changed into her Final Aeon form, getting in front of Yuna and Aqua to protect them.

 

Daichi still wasn't 100 percent yet... but it was enough.
He pulled out Twin LionHeart and looked at Lukya, nodding to her.
"I'll be back in a few minutes."
He jumped off the ship and landed in front of it walking slowly to Ryo who was running towards him.

 

Closing his eyes Ryo as he ran "I'm sorry" Ryo said as he opened his eyes and let out a roar as he drew out his blade and slashed down at the ground. A black wave headed straight at Daichi

 

Kari caught Yuna and Aqua back into the airship, Lukya watched for a moment and ran with the others. The rain had began to pour again, drenching the two warriors.

 

"Partner!" he said as Shugo nodded as Yuji slotted in Metal Sphere and SHugo the Heat as yuji opened the belt as Shugo fell to the ground for the transformation as the warrior stood there, right side was ruby red and the left side was a metal silver as he withdrarn the staff in his back and he jumped in front of Daichi as he removed the red sphere and insterted it intot he open slot on the staff.

"Heat, Maximum Drive!"

"Metal Branding!" the dual voices of Yuji and Shugo called out as he slammed the staff spurting out flames from the ends into the blade blast as the warrior kept his footing in and managed to redirect it.

"That took just a Maximum... Ryo's sword isn't ordinary." Shugo's voice sounded, the right crystal eye flashing.

 

While the blast was being directed Ryo kicked off the ground and glided forward towards the warrior with his blade drawn out to the side. Upon reaching the warrior he immediately slashed at him

 

The staff managed to block the attack as Yuji's voice sounded. "Whoa!" He said as he shifted his stance. "He is almost as if he is acting on instict, Yuji, we might not be able to parry him with just HeatMetal..." Shugo's voice sounded as the left eye flashed.

"Yeah, let's go for Trigger!" He said before pushign ryo back and twistign around quickly, adding the blue sphere into the empty slot that metal was removed from as the staff vanished and he turned around, holding a gun and fired bullets of condensed heat at Ryo.

 

Getting knocked back slightly Ryo immediately brought his sword in front of him to use it as a shield against the heat bullets. As the bullets hit the sword Ryo ran forward

Just like a beast who chase the scent of blood

 

Daichi went to move forwards, but felt pain...
He still hadn't recovered enough yet.. He watched as Yuji fought Ryo.
It's not gonna be enough... Ryo is too tough, especially with that sword.
He forced himself forward, but he had to be careful not to get in the way either.

Haruka went in with the others... but then, everything flashed...
Like it had done before... and she clutched her head as she started seeing something else instead of her regular surroundings.
Another vision... but what could it be now? she yelled in her own mind as the shapes of Ryo, Daichi and Yuji came into focus.

 

"That's bad..." Yuji's voice sounded and he fired off more bullets and dived to the side. "Think a Maximum can stop him partner?" he asked as the left eye flashed. "Highly doubtful, if the blade blast was only deflected by a Maximum, it's no doubt he can handle one."

"Then we're in a pinch... then we'll have to use that..." he said and removed the blue sphere quickly as he slot it into the gun as it began charging.

"Trigger, Maximum Drive!"

He then reached for rhe red sphere in the belt. "What are you doing Yuji?! You can't do that!" SHugo's voice suddenly sounded scared as Yuji avoided another attack from Ryo. "We got no choice, if one can't snap him out of it, two is worth a shot." He said and forcibly moved the red sphere. "Don't do it! You know what'll happen!" He said as the red sphere was inserted in the slot on the side of the belt.

"Heat, Maximum Drive!" It called out as the warrior body became shrouded in flame as Yuji's voice was yelling out as the machine voice repeated two words. "Maximum Drive! Maximum Drive! Maximum Drive! Maximum Drive!" as Yuji hit the button and pointed the gun at Ryo and fired as a huge ball which looked liek a sun was fired straight at him.

 

Ryo lowered his sword to the side as the incoming attack was closing in towards him. Calmly closing his eyes, Ryo immediately swung his sword horizontally the moment the blast got close. As his sword came in contact with the blast, the sword and blast struggled to overwhelm each other. As the blade and sword clashed ryo opened his silt like eyes and let out a demonic roar as his sword deflected the powerful blast

 

"Now."
Daichi charged forwards that instant and went to attack Ryo. His body was still failing him however, At this rate... I'm not gonna win like this either...
But... if I don't do this now, he'll go after Yuji the next chance he gets.



Haruka saw it...
Daichi and Yuji... defeated... on the floor and defenceless as Ryo stood over them with a sword raised, a beserk look in his eye.
She wanted to scream out, to do something. But she couldn't intervene...
"No!" her shriek resounded in the real world startling everyone in the airship.
The vision broke... and she started running.

 

Yuji gasped and fell to his knees as the small cyclone used for the transformation appeared and the form broke apart, revaling Yuji as he hit the wet ground as there were some injuires on him as Shugo had awakened and got up as he ran to Yuji. "Yuji!" he said as Yuji laid there. "You're so reckless, you knew a Twin Maximum wrecks your body!" SHugo cried out as Yuji spoke, managing to be heard over the rain.

"I had to try... I'd do anything to save anyone from what consumes them... even if I get hurt..." he managed to say before his eyes closed, slipping into an unconicous state.

 

Ryo let out a roar upon noticing Daichi running straight towards him. Placing his blade on his shoulder Ryo ran forward towards Daichi and swung his blade downward as him

 

Lukya gasped and held onto Kari as she watched. Kari held her close and watched, Yuna held onto Aqua.

 

Daichi crossed his swords overhead and caught the blow between both of them as Ryo pushed down on his blades.
It took everything Daichi had to keep them in a stalemate like this.
He forced himself onto his feet and unleashed a thrust kick at Ryo, knocking him away and putting some distance between the two.
Dammit... I can't keep up with him.
Not how I am right now...
If only I were 100%
It wouldn't be easy, but I would be able to handle him.
He glared at Ryo and snarled..
It's risky, but I have to try and end the fight fast. I can't afford to stick around waiting for a chance, I won't be able to win like that.
So Daichi charged, roaring out as he did so.

 

Shugo turned Yuji's form over as he paced Yuji's hea don his lap then cried out. "Yuji? Yuji!" but Yuji's eyes remained shut and his body not moving as Shugo watched the fight between Daichi and Ryo, he couldn't help at all, with Yuji out of comission, he couldn't use Fang as the form they use required both of them to be awake and fight in synch.
