Calmly he walked away from Daichi raising his his right fist he opened his palm and looked at it as blood seeped out of his palm. It took almost all I had not to punch him Ryo thought to himself as he stared at his wounded palm. By clenching his fist as tight as he could he purposly wounded himself in order to stop himself from punching Daichi.

Enkidu sadly watched as Ryo walked away and sighed

 

Yuji had also returned to the airship after defeating Ifrit and handed kari the itmes it dropped, it took three Maximum Drives ro even beat it as he sat at the bar, sipping his regular drink, he didn't knwo why but here it was almost natural, Haruka returned from bevelle and Dean just said he was going to check on the hidden temples, the one he most liekly woudl reach wa sthe oen where the magus Sisters once were and if he needed backup, he'd call.

"Things certainly are getting hectic." Yuji said.

as lost as I once was..." Daichi thought to himself sadly before giving Enkidu a nod as if to say, 'keep doing what you are doing' and to re-affirm the poor creature... And then he left, following after Kari.

 

Siting the relaxation area, Kari stared at all the Crests and Sigils and felt her aeon powers had returned. She equipped each one to one of her dress-spheres and sighed, joining Yuji, Aqua, and Yuna at the bar.

 

"Now the factions are probably going to be at each other's throats since their leaders have suddenly disappeared... Guess that's why they asked you look out on top Yuna." yuji said, he really hoped he didn't have to resort to drastic measures in battle.

 

"But what can we do to care things here, with all the fighting?" Yuna asked. "Nooj said that as if it were the simplest thing to do, really."

 

You forget, everyone believes in you so you are sort of their hope if it seems like soemthing bad will happen, I guess that's why Nooj and Gippal told you so, think about it, it looks like a war might break out between New Yevon and Youth League and if their leaders aren't there, there's only one person anyone would listen to, the slayer of Sin who brought the peopel what they have desired most." He said to her.

 

"With its leaders gone, Spira's falling apart. Maybe we can bring people back together." Yuna said, Kari asked, "How are we going to do that? Sing campfire songs?" Brother and Rikku entered and heard Kari's suggestion, he shouted, "Ooooh! That is it! All of Spira will be the captive of Yuna's singing and dancing!" "Great idea!" Rikku agreed.

 

Daichi stood on the deck of the airship as it flew through the skies and sighed...
He had no idea if this would work or if there was any point, but he needed a starting point. Hey, Enkidu, and clown guy... Gilgamesh. I need to talk to you.
I know you have power over that rift thing. So if you can hear me..." he trailed off, it felt weird talking to thin air like this.
He turned around ready to go inside... "...Was worth a try I guess."
He wondered what Lukya was doing, they hadn't had much of a chance to talk lately, especially after they jumped into the Farplane.


"Oh, I wanna join too! it sounds fun!" Maylene chipped in, raising her hand eagerly.

 

Lukya walked in and hearing what Brother was planning, nodded with a smile. Her machina mole nodded, sitting on her shoulder.

 

Yuji blanked out and Shugo gave a smile, "Why not go for it? Question is... where would be a suitable place for all of Spira, Luca's stadium can't possibly hold them all, Zanarkand's in ruins and the other towns are a bit too small and if we try to invite another group to their homebase, there would be no doubt, a riot."

Yuji thought about it. "A big and wide space... only one place fits that bill." He said and SHugo looked at him. "Where? he asked him and Yuji looked at everyone. This sounds crazy but the Thunder Plains are the only best option, how we're going too make sure the lighting not strike us is the real question."

 

"Shinra can handle all the tech stuff and I think this Tobli guy can tell everyone about the event." Kari said.

"Actually, if it's alright, I think Daichi and I should personally invite the Ronso and Guado for this." Lukya said. "I'm going to follow what Seymour told me."

 

Then it's settled." Yuji said as SHugo nodded. We should contact Yuna's previous guardians as well except for Kimarhi, they can get the messege along faster and have their own towns go to the Thunder Plains."

"One big concert huh? I like your style." Yuji laughed after this.

 

Lukya smiled and went up to the deck. She walked up behind Daichi.

 

"I thought after Sin was defeated... things would be simpler...
I still expected hard times, life is filled with both good and bad after all, but it's the good things that count the most.
...still... I find myself on the journey again, and the story continues." Daichi said with his eyes closed, arms hanging loosely at his sides. Facing in the direction the airship was flying. He could tell Lukya was behind him.

 

Lukya sighed and grabbed his hand. Her machina mole took that chance and ran up to his shoulder, rubbing its head against Daichi's. Lukya looked at him, "We are...... going to have a concert in the Thunder Plains. All of Spira will be there, and well, maybe you and I could personally invite the Ronso and the Guado. Maybe this concert can unite them together." She looked at the clouds that passed.

 

"I'd like to... but what makes you think they would listen to me?
They consider me a traitor to my kind, and nothing but a filthy half-breed.
Everything's like before...
Kimahri is trying hard too, but he's having no such luck either." he told her. He wished it could be that simple... they could all go to some concert and everything would turn out okay. But, it was never that easy...
He had lost count of the amount of Ronso that had come to the mansion in the last two years trying to get revenge on a girl who hadn't done anything wrong.
He had lost count of the amount of fights against them he had won.
His goal in life other than revenge was to become strong so he could change his fate and that of the future Ronso.
He had indeed become strong, but he had become strong to protect in the end. He had no regrets though... he was happy being with Lukya and his friends, but yet... it was like fate was playing a cruel joke.
That the girl he loved came from a race his own people now hated. Ironically he had use to hate his own people and in his heart, still did the majority of the Ronso.
"We're trying to change and unite the races... I want that as much as you do... trust me...
I just... I don't know.." he said, in his usual quiet tone.

 

Lukya looked at him and sighed. She did the same thing he did to her two years ago, she hugged him. She had acted before thinking, but she felt it was the right thing to do. "We'll think of something. I know it. Luna said we were the key to Spira's future. And she meant all of the Gullwings, not just us. Seymour told me to keep doing what I have been doing to help my people. I'm sure we can find a way."

 

"You're right of course..."
He clenched a fist and then let it relax as she hugged him.
"There's no way we are quitting... after all, how can we quit when we have all these friends." he smirked. As he put his hands on hers, her arms around him in her hug from behind.

 

Lukya smiled and slowly let go. "I'll let you think for awhile longer." She left the deck and went back inside, thinking of something. Her machina mole, still sitting on Daichi's shoulder, didn't notice and simply sat there, looking out. Lukya looked at her comm-sphere to Gagazet and found something out. Silently, she left the airship without anyone or Daichi noticing.

Arriving at Gagazet in Luna's sphere, Lukya gasped for air and ran up the mountain without hearing Kimahri's warnings and shouts that it would been too dangerous. She followed the Ronso up.

After awhile on the airship, Yuna looked around. "Hey, was anyone seen Lukya?" "Hmm, it's not like the little princess to disappear into thin air like that." Kari said.
