"no" Salina said sadly as she looked up at Daichi "I didn't want to tell Kari this but the degradation...once he degrades he will stay like that, there is no going back the degradation will only go forward" Salina said "soon anger will consume him and soon he won't have a reason to get angry" Salina said

 

Daichi looked at her.
"Then what do you request of me?"

 

FangJoker sent a roundhosue kick into a fiend and Yuji's spoke, the left eye flashing. "It's almost endless, where are they coming from?" He asked before FangJoker pressed down the horn once as the wrist blade exetended as Shugo and Yuji move in synchronization as people were running towards town.

Dean groaned as the Al Bhed ran away, most fo them were mechanics so Dean was practically the only one who even stood a chance as he swung the staffed ends attached to his guns, letting off two blade bursts at teh same time and he fired a shot into it and he cried out. "TAKE THIS!" he cried out.

Dean sweatropped as more fiends seemed to be pouring out from the temple, if he tried to get tot he source, the fiends might do some injury, sure teh Youth league was living in Mushroom Rock. "Makes me almost wish I could multiply myself..." He grumbled in his thoughts.

 

"Ryo plans on committing suicide once he is to lose control ..but if he get to far in the degradation he cannot do that. He will go on a rampage and kill until there is nothing left. You understand what I am asking of you" Salina said sadly finding it very hard to even say the sentence

 

Daichi was taken aback slightly... he knew the answer, and he knew what she was scared to say... someone had to say it...
Daichi said it tenderly, but he looked at her straight in the eyes. "...You want me to kill him."

 

"that is correct" was all Salina said to Daichi as she looked straight at him

 

Daichi didn't break eye contact.
"...Ryo... is there a chance he can beat this?
Is there anything that can be done... anything we can try?"

 

"Arondight is a blade of darkness. It may sound foolish but I place my faith in Gilgamesh" Salina said closing her eyes "Ryo was lost on what to do when the calm started. Fighting to defeat Sin was his purpose and without Sin he had no purpose. When Gilgamesh arrived and told him of the legendary blade he was seeking Ryo found a purpose. I had Gilgamesh stay with him...With Gilgamesh around Ryo was happy and it slowed down the degradation." Salina said. "that legendary holy blade will help Ryo's case, but from there its up to him" Salina said emphasizing the word holy

 

Daichi looked down at the floor... at the fresh snow by his feet."You know me Lady Salina..."
He looked up at her again. "I'd do anything you ask... to help... I would promise and swear it on my pride... which for a Ronso... is a pledge they keep...
But I can't do this... I can't kill a man I regard my friend. I can't kill a man who means so much to another one of my friends..." He said thinking of Kari.
He turned away and took a step before turning his head to look back at her. "I'm gonna try.
That I promise you and swear on my Pride.
I won't let Ryo fall that far."

 

"I thank you" Salina said as she faded away into pyreflies

 

Daichi bowed his head to her statue before continuing to make his way to Kari down the mountain.

He ignored the insults some Ronso made as he passed.
Years ago he would have gone straight at them, but he caught Kimahri's eye and gave him a nod of respect, to which Kimahri did the same.
He stopped beside Kari and stared up at the sky. Not saying anything.

 

Kari waved at the airship and it came down. "Alright, take us to Guadosalam first." Kari said to Buddy, he nodded.

A gun shot was heard at a fiend behind Dean. Yuna, Rei, Aqua, and Haruka ran up, while waiting for Daichi and Kari, Yuna told Buddy and Brother that she, Rei, and Aqua would go with Haruka to Djose. Yuna smiled, "Need some help, Dean?"

 

Dean heard the gunshot and breathed a sigh of relief a she saw who did it. "No Yuna, I need you to do my laundry." He jokingly responded and he jumped back from a fiend before firing a hail of bullets upon it.

FangJoker cut through more of the fiends as the transformation cancelled out again and Yuji quickly sat up as Shugo rmeoved Fang and inserted Cyclone's sphere back in as Yuji slotted in Trigger and opene dthe belt, Shugo's form collasping as the green and blue warrior held his blue gun and fired off quick rounds.

 

Yuna smiled and shot at some aerial fiends. Rei ran forward and used Jump, attacking a fiend as Aqua tossed her boomerang.

 

Haruka smacked a fiend away and had her glance drawn to Dean...
...he was definitely the one she had seen...
Now she was sure of it... she had seen him with blue hair... and then white hair... From one place and then to Spira, the Spira she knew. She had seen him using a strange power... along with another man who had a similar power.
How is he linked?...

 

Yuna led the group to the room before the Chamber of the Fayth. She gasped, whispering, 'Not again........' Before them was the aeon Ixion merged with Al Bhed machina, Aqua gripped her boomerang, saying, "Yuna........" "I'm ready........"

 

Dean jumped and stood back to back with Yuna. "Fire all around." He said as he fired hsi guns in different directions and when he heard Yuna's shots he jumped and flipped sidesideways as Yuna turned where Dean once was and contineud to fire. "Trigger Rondo!" He declared, he honestly missed the usual combination techniques he used before.

"Okay, long story short, fiends ar epouring otu faster than I can kill them, but now you're all here, we can at least try and get rid of the source." He said to them.

 

Yuna nodded and aimed at Ixion, trying not to cry. Aqua gripped her boomerang, Rei ran up to the aeon and slashed. Yuna performed Trigger Happy, Aqua simply tossed her boomerang at the aeon. Rei jumped up and performed Jump on the aeon.

 

Dean ran foward sidestepped here and there, firing off rounds. "How the hell are these here, I thought they had be set free!" He thought and saw Ixion charge up a Aerospark and he chuckled nervously. "...How shocking." He said and leapt over the blades of thunder.

"...Here we go." He ran forward and shot out a hail of bullets upon Ixion before twirling one of his guns in his hand and shot a powerful blast from it then slicied straight in. "Sonic Vision."

 

Haruka felt her head erupt in pain again at the presence of the Aeon.
Stop it... please... she begged in her own mind.
She ran forwards and jumped at Ixion, punching into it as hard as she could. Her mind feeling like it was gonna split in two.. lines, marks and symbols started appearing on her body as she did this.
