Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Kari looked at Haruka and said, "Lets get her to the airship." She helped Haruka up on her feet and ran to the airship as quickly as she could. Lukya and the others followed her. Yuna looked at Daichi, "When you're done, please return to the airship, Daichi." She followed the rest.

 

Haruka felt herself being dragged off by the others... still witnessing images right in front of her eyes.

Daichi nodded at Yuna as she left and he took another step forward, his swords still in his hands just in case...
His instincts told him to be careful... right now... Ryo was unpredictable.
"Well Ryo?"

 

"Withdraw your swords Daichi I have no intention to fighting you. The only one I have malice against is the one who has caused all this to Bahamut" Ryo said walking towards the exit "Gilgamesh...we split up" Ryo said

"Split up? no way Salina said-" Gilgamesh started

"its too late for me...I'm sorry" Ryo interrupted Gilgamesh as he walked away holding on to Arondight tightly

 

Daichi turned to Gilgamesh.
"You have some explaining to do." he said simply. You know what's going on, and... what is it that Salina said?"

 

The group managed to get the airship, Kari took Haruka to the relaxation room/bar while the rest headed for the cockpit. In the Bridge, an alarm could be heard. Buddy shouted, "Trouble, and I mean big time! Fiends are pouring out of the temples!" "Which ones?" Rikku asked, Brother shouted, "Only all of them! It's a freakin' state of emergency! What should we do?" Yuna looked puzzled as Brother asked, "Is it Gullwing time?"

 

"Salina simply told me to say by him to prevent his degradation" Gilgamesh said crossing his arms "well the only person who can explain the situation would be Ryo or Salina" Gilgamesh said "truth is at first we were searching for the legendary blade but now we are also searching for spheres to help his condition" Gilgamesh said

 

Daichi nodded.
"Then I guess we know our next destination... at least... a side destination." he muttered and looked to Gilgamesh.
"You'll follow him?
Someone needs to keep an eye on him right now.
I want to help Kari find some answers. After all, she is the one who cares for him most beside his sister."

 

Kari was told of the situation and stood on the deck of the airship, looking at the sky. She gripped her chest, touching the spot where the Yevon symbol was, she sighed. 'Will that fight mean I have to fight the other aeons as well?' She thought to herself.

 

"Oh course, I the great Gilgamesh cannot leave an ally alone to suffer" Gilgamesh said and looked at Daichi "once all this nastiness has ended we shall continue our fight that was interrupted. But for now we part" Gilgamesh said as he looked over at the green wolf beside him "come Enkidu" Gilgamesh yelled as he laughed and ran out

 

Yuji rubbed his hair messily. "All of them? Fantastic, what do you suggest we do, spilt up and go after them at the same time or one by one?" Yuji asked.

 

Daichi came aboard and was updated on the situation by Buddy.
He then announced to everyone, "I have a request...
Me and Kari will go to Gagazet." he stated.
He wanted to help, but they had something they must do.

 

"We could make teams to go after them at the same time," Yuna said, thinking about that. Lukya sighed, "But, either way, Kari will have to fight against those she considered companions two years ago." Buddy nodded and flew the airship to Gagazet. When it arrived, Kari stepped off in her White Mage dress, her hood down.

 

Daichi stepped off with Kari.
"You must talk to Salina.
She knows... but I think she will only tell you."

 

Kari looked at him and nodded. She gave a wave to Kimahri and climbed the mountain. She walked up to Salina's statue and bowed, looking at it, "Salina, please....... Tell me what is wrong with Ryo and what can I do to help him? I need your help once again."

 

"Then I guess me and Shugo and someone else will take Kilka.... that'll just leave Djose, Besaid and that icey one." He said, he never coudl say that temple's name right, besides, the cold wouldn't do much good for him even in that suit.

"Then that's settled." he said.

 

Appearing before her Salina sighed and closed his eyes "so its gotten this bad...what happened?" Salina said opening her eyes

 

"Ryo has changed completely. His hair and his eyes are different from their original color, he was hit badly by his own aeon that he suddenly became merciless against it. Is this the degradation process? What caused it?" Kari said, unable to stop her tears.

 

Daichi rested a hand on Kari's shoulder as a sign of support, but otherwise said nothing.
Dammit Ryo... I know this isn't your fault... but if you could see what this is doing to her...

 

"The degration is the after effect of Arondight. Arondight has a bloody history, although it's true name is Arondight it has had countless names throughout history. Many have claimed it only to fall under its control, and perished. It has caused ruined and eventually was sealed away by a sage...I believe you met this sage who was guarding this blade" Salina explained "this sage prepared the blade for someone who was worthy and willing to wield it. Ryo's arm was only the entry fee" Salina said

 

Kari looked at her and thought back. She suddenly realized what she meant, 'That time two years ago........ So that was the only way for him to obtain the sword.' "And is there no way to stop it? As the host of the Final Aeon, I need to help my summoner. If you know anything that can help, please tell me."
