Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"if you insist on not getting out of the way then I have no choice" Ryo said drawing out his sword and charged forward at Baralai

 

Baralai quickly blocked Ryo's attack and pushed him back. He attacked the party as Rikku stole from him. Yuna loaded her Tiny Bee gun and shot at Baralai, Aqua throwing her boomerang beside her. Baralai groaned and attacked Ryo.

 

Ryo blocked the attack and immediately sent a punch straight at Baralai with his machina arm

 

Baralai slid back, he groaned and ran away. Paine looked at the group, "Sorry, I'm going ahead." "You have your reasons." Yuna said, Rikku said, "Fill us in later, 'kay?" "Much later." Paine said, walking away, Rikku gasped, "Wait up!" 'With so many things woven together... ...what could be waiting where the threads meet?' Yuna thought as she followed them. In the next area, Yuna gasped when she saw Bahamut, Rikku whispered, "No way..."

"What is it?" Paine asked, Rikku shouted, "It's an aeon!" Kari immediately changed into her Final Aeon dress and shouted, "Bahamut!!!!!!!!!!!!"

 

"B-B-Bahamut" Ryo said looking straight at the dark dragon before him and walked up to him "Bahamut whats going on" Ryo said in desperately as he walked up to the dragon

 

Bahamut roared at Ryo, Yuna whispered, "An aeon..." She extended both her arms to the side and shouted, "You must stop!" "You wanna get killed? We have no choice!" Kari shouted at her, looking at both Yuna and Ryo with a serious look on her face. Yuna nodded, shaking and took out the Tiny Bee. Kari attacked Bahamut and asked to the fayth, "What has gotten into you? Don't you recognize our summoners?"

 

Immediately Ryo jumped up and blocked Kari's attack "let me talk to him. He has to come to his senses" Ryo said landing in front of Bahamut "whats gotten into you. You...You helped me survive when I had nothing left. You fought along side me. It hurt to fight against you that time please don't make me do it again" Ryo yelled in despair. Bahamut roared as he suddenly sent a blast at Ryo. Ryo was flung high into the air and fell to the ground, not moving at all

 

"Ryo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yuna shouted, changing into White Mage and casting Cura on him. Kari gasped and looked at Bahamut, shouting, "Bahamut, what the hell is wrong with you?!!!!!!! Why did you just attack our summoner like that? Bahamut, answer me!!!!!!!!!!!" Her voice changed as she shouted, trying to make it as the aeon would understand her.

 

Ryo didn't move at all to the point where he was not breathing.

Mindlessly Bahamut just roared at Kari and tried to slash her with his claws

 

Kari blocked Bahamut's attack, sliding back a bit. She jumped backward and tossed her ball at Bahamut. Yuna was focused on trying to heal Ryo. Kari looked at them and stared at Bahamut, the aeon who was once her ally and companion.

 

As Ryo laid there suddenly his hair slowly became white, leaving some streaks of his original black hair

Getting hit by the ball Bahamut just let out a powerful roar

 

Kari looked at Ryo in surprise and then stared at Bahamut. She looked in shock as she wondered what was happening.

 

Daichi stood prepared with his weapons out, but... he didn't do anything. This was a matter for the former summoners in it's own way... and Kari who was in herself an Aeon... if Dean had been here. Daichi wondered how he would react.

Maylene stood alongside Daichi feeling and thinking much the same excluding the Dean part as she didn't know about his connection to the aeons.

The moment Haruka saw Bahumut, her head erupted into intense pain and she screamed out, dropping onto her knees and clutching her head.
This was the feeling, well part of it... the Aeons... the Aeons...
Haruka saw visions, visions that she didn't entirely understand, some of them involved her, but she wasn't sure how... some also had... a familiar person in them...
although, he had white hair... not the blue she had seen since and there was another guy... wasn't he a former Maester... but...
The visions overwhelmed her and the pain took control, causing her to slip onto the borders of conciousness as she slumped forwards.

"Haruka!" Maylene called out rushing to her to see what was wrong.

 

Suddenly a black aura surrounded Ryo's body and raged like a fierce fire. The aura let out a dark and sickening feeling. Slowly Ryo got up and opened the palm of his hand. Appearing in his hand was the black sword Arondight

 

'Ryo's celestial weapon..............................' Kari stared at him as she sighed and looked back at Bahamut. She gripped her claws, tears falling down her face. Yuna switched to Warrior, and gripped the Brotherhood, also crying at Bahamut.

 

"if this is the way you want it then so be it" Ryo said in a cold and dark tone of voice. Slowly walking forward he suddenly disappeared and reappeared in front of Bahamut. As Bahamut roared and fired impulse at him. Disregarding the attack Ryo jumped threw the attack and withstood the damage. As Ryo approached closer to Bahamut, he slashed towards Ryo. Taking the chancet Ryo jumped on top of his claw and once more up at his shoulder. Without any mercy Ryo trusted Arondight forward./ With one thrust to the head Bahamut fell to the ground and turned to pyreflies

"oh man this is not good...not good at all" Gilgamesh said shaking his head

 

"Ryo........? Is he okay?" Yuna asked Gilgamesh, Kari fell to her knees, reverting to her normal form and hit the ground. She was crying hard, her mind was in a train wreck now. Bahamut was the first of the aeons who befriended her when she gained the power of the Final Aeon and taught her how to fight using that power. But just moments ago, she fought him and he seemed to be in pain, Kari shook her head and whispered, 'Why, Bahamut......? Why?'

 

"far from it...he told me it would be a long time before this happened" Gilgamesh said looked at the transformed Ryo

Glancing at the pyreflies that flew away Ryo closed his eyes "I will find him, whoever did this I will rip their head off with my own two hands" Ryo said as the black aura subsided but his hair and eyes stay the same

 

Lukya walked up to Kari and held out her hand, Kari looked at her, "Why?" "Someone once told me, 'Do I need a reason....... to help someone?'" Lukya said, smiling. Kari smiled and accepted Lukya's hand, standing up and weeping her tears. Yuna sighed, 'Why is this happening? I wish you were here with me.' Paine comforted Yuna, she smiled, "Thank you Paine. Kari was right. We had to fight it, didn't we?"

Later, the group noticed that Vegnagun was gone, Rikku sighed, "Nothing..." "This hole was made recently." Aqua said, Kari asked, "You think it was Vegnagun? Unreal... How deep do you think it goes?" Leblanc and her henchmen appeared, Leblanc said, "What? Where's Vegnagun?" "Not here." Yuna said, Leblanc smiled, "It must have fled in terror, knowing I was coming."

"I don't think so." Lukya said, but she was ignored, Leblanc ordered, "I must report to Noojie-Woojie at once. Boys, record this. Don't miss a single detail!" "Yes, Boss!" They ordered, Paine whispered, "Vegnagun. Was it really here?" 'This isn't how it was supposed to be. The Eternal Calm... I can feel it crumbling, falling away from beneath our feet.' Yuna thought as they got a transmission from Brother, 'Yuna! We are in super doo-doo! Get back to Celsius on the double!'

 

Daichi stepped forwards. Swords still drawn.
"Ryo. What's going on with you?" he asked calmly.

"Guys? Somethings not right with Haruka.." Maylene murmured in a concerned manner.
