Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Lukya sighed and followed Yuna and Rei, they found a sphere in Logos and Ormi's room, but it wasn't the one that was stolen. Logos and Omri appeared, Lukya looked at the girls, "Remember, when LeBlanc appears, leave her to me." Yuna nodded and took out her gun.

Kari grinned and pulled back, swinging her katana once more. The memories of Auron teaching her how to wield a katana filled her mind, she couldn't thank him enough and as she remembered watching Auron fade into pyreflies, Kari smiled and swung her katana more strongly.

 

Ryo grinned also as he pulled back his broadsword and jumped back to avoid her attack. Jumping forward Ryo spun around and slashed downwards at her, using the power from the spin to his advantage

 

Kari brought her katana up horizontally to block the attack. "You're not the only one who trained with Auron, Ryo. In case you forgot, he and I were Guardians and teammates, so he trained with me before he did with you!!!!" She pushed him back.

 

"I thank Sir Auron for his lessons but I will not copy his fighting style" Ryo said jumping back "a true warrior finds their own style. Sir Auron just helped me find mine" Ryo said as he swung his sword horizontally "long range strike" Ryo yelled as a gust of wind flew at her

 

"Who said I copied his fighting style? I just take on his fighting stance, I still switch between two weapons, that's my style." Kari said as she sheathed her katana, jumping out of the way and running toward him with her hand claws.

 

Ryo smirked as he raised his sword and placed his shoulder. He immediately ran forward straight at Kari

 

Kari jumped and swung her arms in a x position, bringing her hand claws toward Ryo's head.

 

Haruka nodded at Lukya. "So that means we get to kick these guys around all we want eh? Sounds fun." she grinned.

Maylene pulled out her guns, fangs showing and her fur standing on end slightly, her pink eyes turning fierce.

 

"right where I want you" Ryo said as he pulled out his left arm from his cape and grabbed the hilt of his sword. Using both hands Ryo swung at the airborne Kari, slashing her claws with all his might to push her away

 

Rei rested her spear on her shoulders and smiled, standing next to Paine with her sword out. Rikku gripped her daggers and smiled. Rei ran forward and jumped, Yuna shot at them, Rikku stole some Potions from them, Paine slashed at them.

Kari gasped for a moment and was flying, falling to the ground. She got up, rubbing her chin and smiled.

 

Haruka ran forwards and struck out, punching with her knuckle daggers.

Maylene ran and jumped off Haruka's back, flipping over Ormi and Logos and firing her gun magic. "Ruin-bullets!"

 

Rei landed forcefully, having performed the Jump attack. Yuna did Trigger Happy on them, as Aqua performed Aurora's Melody, causing them to fall asleep.

 

Haruka got between the both of them and span round with her arms out. "Blitz!"
With the combined effort of all of them, Ormi and Logos fell in no time.

 

"not bad not bad at all" Ryo said as he placed his arm back in his cape and rested his sword on his shoulder "so what will it take for you to forgive me for seeing you bathe" Ryo said with a sigh

 

"How about telling me of this degradation process Salina told me? Does it have something to have your Celestial Weapon?" Kari asked.

Yuna and Rei led the girls out of the room, goons began to appear.

 

"degradation process? what are you talking about? Salina is probably saying things" Ryo said and smiled tsk damn it Salina you just had to tell her Ryo thought as he smiled. "if your wondering about the eyes then just relax. I'm just trying a new look out. This new eye color is pretty amazing isn't it" Ryo said

 

"This will make things more interesting! some butt to kick while we continue our search!"

Maylene's superior Ronso hearing heard a click in the walls like a mechanism being triggered. "Um... guys... I uh... heard something... whatever it is... it doesn't sound good.."

Haruka finished smacking a goon away.
"What do you mean?"

 

Rei twirled her spear in the air, knocking away some goons. "Meaning, there are traps hidden somewhere in the building!" Lukya sighed and shot with Yuna at some goons, Rikku and Paine slashed at the one who came for them. Aqua tossed her boomerang.

Kari sighed and shook her head. "Honestly, Ryo............ It looks like great, but I gotta go." Kari ran to join her friends.

 

We need to get out of here... we can't keep fighting here forever! But... which way do we go? Maylene looked down two paths before choosing one.
"Quick! This way! Let's run down here!" Maylene called out to the others, starting to run in an attempt to get away from the goons.

Haruka looked out at where Maylene was running.
And then...
~FLASH~
Haruka was in the corridor, like she had been moments before, everything had a purple tinge to it... suddenly, like Deja Vu; Maylene called out to everyone after seemingly making a decision, "Quick! This way! Let's run down here!" and had taken off running.
However, as Maylene ran down the corridor, the floor opened up beneath her, causing her to plummet... screaming before being silenced by a horrible sound.
Haruka fearfully looked over the side of the deep pit trap to see spikes on the floor... and..."

Suddenly, everything was back to normal, Haruka was standing in the corridor, Maylene had just started running off.
Haruka's heart sank and her eyes shot open. Somehow, she just put two and two together and moved. She ran after Maylene as fast as she could. "Maylene! Stop!" she screamed, terrified like she knew what would happen.
...
The floor opened up beneath Maylene's feet.
...
Haruka leapt forwards over the side following after Maylene. "MAYLENE!"

.
..
...
A hand clasped the edge of the pit trap while the other had hold of Maylene's hand, who was just a few inches away from being impaled by the spikes sticking out from the ground.

A person appeared beside Haruka and shouted, "Maylene, give me your other hand!" Kari had appeared beside Haruka, knelt down next to her, and held out her hand for Maylene to grab to help her pull up back to safety. Yuna sighed in relief.
