Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"I've just developed a whole new sense of respect for Yuji." Haruka joked.

Maylene was really happy to be out of that horrible outfit and to have her tail free.
"I knew I should have made a tail hole for myself... but I also thought that would give us away..." she sighed.

 

"Huh? Where'd Yuna go?" Kari looked around for Yuna. She heard Yuna's voice, "This way!!!!!!!" Kari motioned to the others and ran to Yuna, she was surprised to see Rei there. Kari sighed in relief as Ormi appeared. Lukya stared at Rei in her Ronso armor.

 

Shugo blinked. "You sure that was even nessescary?" he asked Yuji at he looked at the scene, Brother was lying on the floor with a noticble red mark on his forehead.

"It was, he argees to this whole thing and nearly blows our cover, whoever made this guy the leader was probably drunk." He said as Buddy crossed his arms. "Not exactly, he just appointed himself as leader seeing as he has flown an airship before this one."

"...Somehow, I'm more inclined to have you as the leade rof the Gullwings than this guy." Yuji nodded towards Brother, he didn't care if Brother woek up, they might be kicked out.

 

Lockon sighed. "I think he was rather quick to make me Yuna's bodyguard and protector. I mean, I wanted to fulfill my late Human father's wish, but not too quickly." Aqua's machina dragon, Starlight, was on his shoulder, since Aqua couldn't take him with her in the mansion.

 

Maylene also stared at Rei, in her Ronso armour.
"R-Rei?"

 

Rei smiled at Maylene, when Kari shouted, "Whoa, hold up!!!!!! How do you know Maylene? Why do you wear Ronso armor when you look like a regular half Al Bhed? We need some answers, here!"

"Right. Name's Rei. True I'm half Al Bhed, half Human. But I grew up with a Ronso father who took me in after I was abandoned by my parents. We often visited Mt. Gagazet, and I did meet Maylene during one trip. One day, my Ronso father went to the mountain by himself and later I received word that he was killed by Seymour Guado. I bear no hatred to Lukya or the rest of the Guado, but I can never forgive Seymour for that action." Lukya listened as Rei explained her dress-spheres were spheres left behind by Rei's foster father.

 

"Rei played with me when she visited... on the mountain, she and her father were the only ones who were nice to me regardless of my... half-ness..."
Maylene ran up to Rei and hugged her. "I'm so sorry about your father, Rei.. he was a great man..." she said, blinking tears from her eyes.

 

Rei hugged Maylene, Yuna smiled and asked, "Will you help us here?" After some thought, Rei nodded.

 

"well well well it looks like we got some intruders" Ryo said as he walked into the room "and looks like its the famous Gullwings...how bothersome" Ryo said

 

"Ryo, I never thought you would be part of Leblanc's gang here." Kari stepped out in front of the group. "Guys, go find the sphere fragment. I'm going to have a little heart-to-heart with High Summoner Ryo here."

"I'm jealous, Kari!" Yuna said, Kari smiled, "Just go already." The group left and Kari took out her katana, placing it on her shoulder and put her left arm around her waist, similarly to how Auron used to stand for a battle.

 

Ryo grinned "come on I can't wait to beat you to the ground" Ryo said "I am high summoner Ryo the greatest warri- BLEH" Ryo said as suddenly he was punched away

"tsk damn imposter...if anybody is going to beat Kari down to the ground its going to be me" said the assailant

 

"I am confused about what's going on, but I'm ready for a fighting, so bring it!" Kari ran to the assailant and swung her katana.

 

Immediately drawing out a sword the assailant blocked the sword and smiled as he pushed her away "man is that all you got" the assailant said as he pulled off his hood revealing another Ryo "bet your confused" Ryo said with a grin as the other Ryo was on the ground fainted

 

Kari jumped back and gripped her hand claw and katana, "Most likely. Last I recall, the only other time there was another Ryo was when he fought his clone and lost his arm, which I was generous enough to make a machina arm for him, so yes I am confused." She got back into her stance. "Either way, one of you is going to pay for peeking on me at the hot spring."

 

"your never going to let that down are you?" Ryo said as he looked over at the other Ryo and walked over at him and pulled his hair revealing a wig "this moron is a faker" Ryo said kicking him a bunch of times "how dare you try to ruin my reputation. I am no flirt" Ryo said

Looked over at Kari Ryo sighed "anyways, back at the spring I noticed you with a uniform from LeBlanc's group so I decided to follow you guys. If you want to fight bring it on" Ryo said looking at her. Strangely his usual blue eyes were amber colored

 

Kari noticed the change in Ryo's eyes and thought to herself, 'Is this the degradation Salina was referring to? Ah! Got no time to worry about that now!' "Look, the Gullwings are only here to get something back LeBlanc stole from us. But I guess a little fight is all right. After all, I did tell Yuna you and I were going to have a little heart-to-heart."

 

"oh? something stolen? sounds interesting" Ryo said preparing his broadsword on his shoulder while his left arm was covered by his cape as usual "well then lets go. We don't have much time until the grunts interrupt our little romance" Ryo said grinning as he held his sword

 

"You never change, Ryo." Kari said, somersaulting toward him before bringing her katana down toward him. Unaware to Kari, she had accidently left her comm-sphere on, letting the other members hear on their conversation.

 

Haruka looked around at the others as they left.
"Those two... have an interesting relationship...
I wonder what things will be like for me if I ever get a boyfriend."

"wow that is stronger that the last blow" Ryo said as he raised his sword and held his ground "are you utilizing your anger about the hot spring?" Ryo said as their blades clashed
