Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Yuna set the garland down and went to Maylene. "Are you almost done?" She asked.

 

"Nearly.. I've got a few more things to work on for adjustments. Especially with Aqua and myself due to height and... things." she said to Yuna.
She eyed the necklace Yuna was wearing, the one they had chased after. "That's the symbol of Zanarkand right?"

 

"Of course, Bevelle's probably forgotten about us by now, I do make a regularly visit once a year to leave flowers behind, but beyodn that, I never really stay for too long, maybe Eternal's from bevelle or not, I can't be sure, but what me and Shugo know, he holds a Gaia Sphere, we never seen his face since he's transformed, thought I don't know why he's so interested in the DoubleGrid's potenial. Yuji said, finishing his drink.

"But enough about that, you girls need privacy to change to get into Leblanc's terrority, personally, I don't know why she wears that hideous outfit but I prefer not to understand it.

 

"You know?" Yuna asked, gripping the pendant. She sighed and looked at it.

 

"I've seen it on some ruins at the border of Gagazet and Zanarkand... also... Kimahri told me about it..."

"Heh, You have a point... I mean... what the hell is she thinking wearing that?"

...There is definitely a link in Bevelle... somewhere. Or somehow..

 

"I do want to thank Dean for giving it back to me, but I also thank you for helping me chase the thief who took it. This necklace and the earring I'm wearing are my special treasures." Yuna wrapped her arms around Maylene and hugged her.

 

Maylene hugged her tightly back. Purring slightly. "I promise... I'll help you find him... No matter what.
Kimahri said that everyone played their own important part and were amazing in their own way... but... He. The one from Zanarkand was the one who made the difference.
I've also heard Daichi say that he was probably the best Guardian there has ever been."

 

'You really did make the difference.' Yuna thought to herself, looking up the sky. She turned back to Maylene, "I'll let you continue your work." She left Maylene and went to the cockpit.

 

Haruka watched Yuna leave... she wished she could help cheer her up. Yuna was clearly hurting inside.

Everything turned purple and faded away...

They were all on top of an airship.
It was a familiar scene...
The sky was lit up like it was on fire, when Sin had exploded.
A young blond man... was slowly fading away, as if from existence.
Everyone looked sad and were saying their last bits... Yuna was probably the most upset... as she told him that she loved him.
The young blond man's facial expression changed... he hugged Yuna and then walked through her.. before running straight to the edge of the airship and jumping off into the heavens below.

"I'm done!" Maylene called out.

Haruka came back to reality again... her pupils fully dilated and her breathing somewhat heavy..
Her hand was over her heart and a tear was travelling down her face.
She had no idea what had just happened... she knew it had happened before.. but she didn't know what it was or why she was experiencing these things...
but now... she could see truly why Yuna was the way she was... and why she was doing everything she could in an effort to find him.

 

All the girls looked at their uniforms and Brother came up into the changing room, he asked, "Need help, Yuna?" His face was greeted by two fists, from Kari and Rikku. The girls walked into the cockpits, dressed in their uniforms. "How do we look, boys?" Lukya asked.

 

Yuji blinked. "Easily able to sneak in without any problems?" He asked them in reponse, arms crossed as SHugo looked at them. "Agreed.

 

"Don't worry. Haruka's got me and Aqua sorted if questions get asked too." she said, winking at Haruka.

"Yup. Leblanc will never know a thing." she said with a thumbs up.

 

"Alright, team, lets go!" Yuna said, happily, putting a fist in the air. The airship flew to the Moonflow and the girls got off. Kari looked at the entrance, "How are we going to explain you and Aqua to those guys, Maylene?"

 

"Just follow Haruka's lead.
She says she has a plan.
And I have to admit... Leblanc is stupid enough that it actually will work." she giggled.

 

Kari sweatdropped and Yuna led the group to the entrance, one of the two guards asked why there were little kids with them. Kari looked to Haruka.

 

"Didn't you get the memo?" Haruka asked the two guards, acting like she was shocked.
She pulled Aqua close to her and held her hand. "It's bring your little sister to work day."
She said like it was obvious. "Isn't she cute!"

Maylene looked up at Lukya and Yuna, taking their hands.
"I'm with these two! They're my big sisses! I want to join the business soon so I can be just like them!"
Ouch... these outfits are so uncomfortable... I can't move my tail at all... she moaned in her head as her tail wrapped around her thigh. None the less, she kept up her cheery disposition and enthusiasm.

 

"And she's with us." Kari said, wrapping her arm around Rikku's neck. The goons seemed to get it, and let them enter. Much to their surprise, Nooj was there as well as Rei, Nooj left while Rei stood outside the door to Leblanc's door. Yuna was ordered by Ormi and Logos to comfort Leblanc and she went.

Yuna began massaging Leblanc's back. After doing enough of it to satisfy Leblanc, she spoke, "Hmm, that is good. When did you get so good at this?" "Uh, um... I-I dunno." Yuna said and continued to massage her back, she said, "Noojie-Woojie is such a manly man, don't you think? He can be blunt, but that makes the occasional smile all the more irresistible! That godly smile... That's the whole reason I became a sphere hunter. Oh, if only there were some miracle sphere...something that could make him truly happy. What I wouldn't give!" "But what about that girl, Rei?" Yuna asked.

"She used to be a good friend, but she's just some poor orphan trying to avenge her poor foster Ronso father," Leblanc said, then fell asleep. Yuna was in shock, "She fell asleep! I'm that good?" She looked at her hands when Logos and Ormi appeared, Logos said, "The boss fell asleep again? One massage and she's out like a light." "We's been waiting for her, too, 'cause she had something important to tell us." Ormi said, Logo said, "We'll just have to keep waiting. In the meantime, you, go make sure the switch panel is working."

"Uh, switch?" Yuna asked, Ormi shouted, "The back of the living room! The same one as always!" Yuna went to the rest of the group, and told them. Lukya seemed confused as they found the switch panel.

 

As the Gullwings headed towards the switch, standing in the middle of the living room stood Ryo looking at the banquet ahead of him "tsk damn that LeBlanc delaying my pay...it seems like I will never get it. All that talk of her Noojie-Woojie is giving me a headache" Ryo muttered as he took an apple and took a bite "well at least there is free food" Ryo said

 

Kari simply ignored the fact Ryo was there and the Gullwings found a hidden pathway when the switch pressed. Rei, who was also in the living room to get away from Logos and Ormi, noticed the girls and followed them. The girls changed into their normal clothes and barely moved on when Brother called, "This is Brother! How's it going?"

"Be quiet! This is a covert operation. Over and out." Rikku shouted quietly, Brother shouted loudly, "Rikku! How dare you speak to your leader like that!" "Ooh! Shut up, already!" Kari shouted, their main concern was not being noticed by Logos or Ormi.

 

An audible noise was heard as Brother's voice yelped and Yuji's voice was heard quietly in the background. "...Does he even know what covert means? Anyway, just hurry up girls or this idiot will probably expose you again when he comes round."
