Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

"Thanks!" Maylene said, grinning at Lockon. "I hate the feeling of having wet fur..." she shuddered at the thought, and then grinned at him again as she left.

 

Lockon blushed and nodded, waving at her as she left. Kari climbed the mountain of Gagazet, finding a sphere for her and a hot spring. She scared the girls already in the hot springs and took in a dip herself, relaxing for a moment.

Rikku rode the hover to the oasis, where she found her special sphere and fought against some of the goons to obtain her uniform.

Paine walked around the Calm Land, looking for a goon.

Yuna found another sphere for Aqua and obtained two uniforms.

Lukya enjoyed the view of the Moonflow, taking the time to find a uniform for her.

 

Meanwhile up on Gagazet

"man where the hell did Gilgamesh go?" Ryo muttered as he walked threw a cave "great now I'm lost" Ryo said with a sigh. As he explored through the cave he suddenly noticed a light up ahead "an exit" Ryo yelled happily as he ran forward. Running to the light Ryo didn't realize that the exit of the cave was a cliff. Carelessly he ran to the exit and fell of the cliff "oh crap" Ryo yelled as he fell into the hot spring and landed in front of Kari

 

Kari jumped and glared at Ryo, who interrupted her bath. "Hello there, Ryo. What brings you to this hot spring?" She was blushing, though her facial expression was not the best.

Haruka was in Luca at the entrance of the Highroad. This was where she had met Dean back then..
she started walking down the path.

Maylene walked through the Thunderplains at a leisurely pace.
A thunderbolt shot towards her. At the last second, she leaned backwards going into a matrix style dodge, placing her hands onto the earth and lifting herself so she made a full 360 and landed on her feet again.
She smiled smugly to herself.
However... she didn't notice the second bolt of lightning.
"...Owwie.. I guess Lightning does strike twice..." she muttered, all her fur was standing on end, and was sparking at the tips slightly.
...I need to remember what Daichi said and trust my feril instincts... it's what makes us Ronso skilled fighters...
Even if I don't have the same brute strength. I've got other assets!
She looked down at her flat chest, and imagined Luna laughing jokingly at her. "I didn't mean those assets!" she yelled out to the sky.

 

Ryo sat up in the hot spring a bit dazed from the fall "huh? Kari?" Ryo said as he looked around and noticed Kari. Immedaitely he jumped up and covered his eyes "whoa what the heck. I'm Sorry I'm Sorry I'm Sorry please don't kill me" Ryo yelled after seeing his girlfriend half naked

 

Footsteps were heard as a familar person emerged from a lighting rod. "Assets?" Dean asked as he saw Maylene and he blinked once. "Pink Ronso fur? Okay... I know I said That before but I was kidding!" he thought to himself before bringing himself back to his attention that Maylene had a bit of a red face.

Yuji looked at Daichi. "Just wondered what everyone's dreams are, I mean, no-one never really thinks about what they really want in the future do they?" He asked as they waited on the airship.

 

Kari sighed and got out of the hot spring, changing into her usual outfit. "Thanks for interrupting my relaxing time, Ryo."

 

"pfft oh please you should be happy that I came flying from the sky" Ryo said crossing his arms as he walked out of the water

 

Instantly, Kari's hand claw was right in front of his face, she looked rather very pissed off. "Who was the Ryo that couldn't know me but knew about Yuna at Kilika?! Besides, you decided to steal a look at my half-naked body!"

 

Daichi thought about the answer.
He was in his usual position of arms crossed and leaning with his back against a wall. "Some people do.. I mean, Lukya has a dream.
Yuna does... and she's already achieved one.
I guess it's different with everyone." he stated.

Maylene blinked once, before turning redder and making a small squealing sound. "Wah! A blue haired pervert!" she jumped back, eyeing up the new arrival.
"No wait..., you were on the mountain with the Gullwings before.." she realised.
"And... two years ago...
...Didn't you have white hair then?" she asked, clearly confused.

 

"huh? what are you talking about" Ryo said as he held his chin "oh yeah Gilgamesh did say something about me cheating...or something along the lines" Ryo said

 

Kari sighed and turned around, walking away. Buddy's voice sounded from her commsphere, "Kari? You found the uniform on Gagazet?" "Yeah, Buddy, I'll wait at the bottom of the mountain for you." Kari replied, and walked down the mountain.

 

"hey wait up" Ryo said as he ran up "I'm sorry about seeing you all half naked and all" Ryo said walking with her

 

"Whoa whoa, I'm asked what you meant by assets since lighting can make your voice not heard properly and I did have white hair due to a unintentional accident but I managed to get rid of it by the end of the Yuna's speech." Dean said defensively, hands up to prove his point.

Yuji nodded "never really thought about my future, I just go where life takes me, I mean sure, I haven't thought about dating or marriage or become an important figure." Yuji said.

 

"Right." Kari said, looking at him. She stopped suddenly, looking at Salina's statue. With a sigh, she did the prayer and got a knees, bowing her head. She stood up and looked at the statue, then continued to walk.

 

Daichi nodded. "Sometimes you don't need to...
sometimes, the dream finds you." he told Yuji.

Maylene eyed him with suspicion before deciding that she did trust him. "...I was just talking to Luna..." she muttered, turning red as she stared at her flat chest again, and twiddled her thumbs.

 

Ryo sighed as he looked up at the Salina statue and gave it a bow as well. Running up to catch up to Kari he placed his arm around her neck "let me make it up to you for ruining your bath time. Name it and I will see what I can do" Ryo said feeling bad

 

"Luna...?" Dean asked as he thought about it, it was probably a friend or relative that passed away, he knew Daichi had this situation until he connected the dots.

"Ah, sorry I asked about Luna." He said and noticed her twiddle her thumbs as she stared downwards and Dean knew what she meant by assets now and he nervously rubbed his hair in a bit of embrassment but he wanted to confirm it first before he was mistakened by assets as in those or items. "By Assets you mean...your upper body?" Dean nervously asked, a bead of sweat going down his face, oh he prayed to any deity out there he was wrong.

Yuji thought about it. "Guess so, nothign happens the way you expect them to." He saiid

 

"Hmmmmm........." Kari thought about it as the airship appeared, she broaded the airship and it flew to the Moonflow, Lukya had already obtained her uniform.
