Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Yuna smiled and nodded, heading for Yuji's body. Kari smiled as Lukya gave a sigh of relief, the group headed for Yuji's body.

 

Daichi walked back to the others.
"I had my faith in them the whole time... but still, when it came to Yuna... I couldn't take the chance.. guess I still have that Guardian instinct in me."

 

"Thank you, Daichi........." Yuna told him before hugging him like she did two years ago. Lukya smiled and nodded. Kari watched the fight, eager to see what Shugo had in store.

 

"Protect the summoner... even at the cost of ones life... the code of the Guardian." he quoted... remembering when Seymour had stated it before they had first fought him.
... come to think of it... that was when Daichi first found his resolve and accepted his becoming a Guardian to Yuna.
When Yuna hugged him... he also did like 2 years ago... he stood there... not knowing how to react.
"Anyway... we need to keep an eye on Yuji's body.
He's counting on us."

 

Lukya or Kari weren't surprised that Daichi quoted Seymour. Lukya just remained quiet, recalling the fight in Macalania Temple. She had come to accept the death of her father as well as how and who killed him, but she touched her throat, remembering the shock she had gotten after killing her own brother which had resulted in her loss of her voice for awhile. Lukya sighed and looked at Yuji's body.

 

The two warriors jumped apart as white and purple warrior was pressed down on the horn twice twice as one of the shoulder fangs became enlargened and he removed it, throwing it like a bommerang as Eternal deflected it.

"Guess we'll have to use Fang's ultimate attack." SHugo's voice sounded and the elft eye flashed. "To get the full effect, we have to be in total synch when attacking, it's Fang's ultimate attack so... How about Fang Streiser?" Yuji voice commented as Shugo's gave a light chuckle. "I'll leave the naming to you." He said as the left hand pressed down three times on the horn as at the ankle was an enlarged version of one of it's jagged ends and he leapt up.

"Fang Streiser!" The two called out before spinning around, delivering a roundhouse kick but Eternal brought his own sphere and slot it into his dagger as it glowed a pale white and he swiped, an explosion occuring between the two and the smoke cleared. "I see you two have gotten stronger by controlling this form, I shall take my leave, we shall meet again." He said and he ran off the cliffside as the warrior FangJoker knelt to a knee. "My body..." Shugo managed to say and Yuji's voice sounded as the left eye flashed.

"This is bad... your body can only do so much." Yuji said the purple hand brought the belt together as he removed the Fang Sphere as the form shattered, revealing Shugo tired out and Yuji's eyes opened up.

 

"Thank goodness, you two are alright!" Yuna said, smiling. Kari smiled, "I though you were going to make Eternal pay for that expandable comment he made about Yuna."

 

"He was holding back on us, it felt that way at least." Yuji said as he sat up as Shugo nodded. "Besides, I cannot fight for long periods of time while we switch roles, being in that berserk-like state made me more tired out than being calm and controlled, but still, I never thought I'd see the day we would control Fang." SHugo said in surprised tone at the end.

"Just don't go using Fang too often, you and me both know I'm the fighter and more used to the transformations we go through, just right now, you're only starting." Yuji answered.

 

Kari nodded, "Well, shall we head back to the airship and actually start looking for uniform to sneak into Leblanc's home?" "Yes, lets go." Lukya said.

 

"OOO! OOO! I have something to say!" Maylene said excitedly, jumping up and down with her hand raised and her tail wagging like it was no one business.

 

"Yes, Maylene? What's so important that you have to say?" Lukya asked, Lockon put his face in his hand though Lukya could tell he was hiding a blush on his face.

 

"Well... you see, it's about the uniforms." she hid a blush, although with her pink fur, it was slightly hard to tell anyway.
"I've got a dream... other than winning an award for my weapon engineering etc etc."
She sighed dreamily, and then paused for dramatic effect. "I want to open a chain of clothing shops all over Spira that sells pretty, cute pink clothing!" she announced suddenly with a big grin on her face, and seeing the looks on peoples faces she decided she had better explain.
"Well, for example... the clothes I'm wearing now, I made by hand...
The point I'm trying to make about the uniforms though is, once we get them, just give them to me. I can adjust them and everything so they all fit perfectly."
She gave a peace sign.
"Oh and don't worry... I won't edit them by adding any pink." she added, with a slight disappointed sigh.

 

"Huh, that doesn't sound too bad, and I'm sure you would have tons of gil in no time if you were archived that dream, Maylene." Kari said, putting her hand on her chin thoughtfully.

"I think it's a wonderful dream, and as for your weapon engineering dream, you can always ask Lockon to help you. He's a machina whiz himself," Lukya said, smiling.

 

Maylene grinned and nodded a Kari, and she smiled and nodded at Lukya.
Then she looked at Lockon and ran up to him, taking both of his hands in hers. "Lockon! You. Are. Awesome!" she said each words separately while looking up at him with her sparkling pink eyes, a cute smile on her face.

 

Lukya smiled as Lockon blushed and nodded, "Thanks, Maylene. I'll try to help you with whatever you need."

 

Yuji heard about Maylene's dreams and that actually given him somthign to think about. "What's my dream?" He had to think about that one and wandered what the other's dreams were apart from Maylene's which he already knew, Yuna wanted to find the man who left her, that much was certain but what about the other Gullwings?

 

Daichi was standing next to Yuji.
In complete silence, he glanced at him.
"...
There's something on your mind?" he asked quietly, reading Yuji's face as clear as day.
Even if no one else could have noticed it, Daichi did as easily as reading a book.

 

Everyone went to the airship and Buddy said, "All right, I've found seven different spots to find the uniforms. Gagazet, Bikanel, Mushroom Rock, Calm Lands, The Thunders Plains, the Moonflow, and the Mi'ihen Highroad." "Aqua and I got Mushroom Rock!" Yuna said, Lukya said calmly, "I'll take the Moonflow." "Leave Gagazet to me," Kari said, Rikku smiled and said, "I call dibs on Bikanel!!!!!!" "I'll go to the Calm Lands." Paine said. Lukya looked toward Haruka and Maylene for their places.

 

"I guess I'll take Mi'ihen then. I know it well since it's next to Luca.

"I suppose that leaves the Thunder Plains. Good thing I'm not scared of a bit of lightning."

 

Rikku smiled as the airship flew each girl to her location, before Maylene was dropped off at the Thunder Plains, Lockon gave her something to help her fur dry. Yuna looked around and followed the goons, finding a sphere.
