Shugo sat awake where he was, thinking of multiple possible ways they could save Yuji but all of them drawn to the same conclusion unless...

Yuji sat against a wall, all tied up with teh DoubleGrid open and the Joker SPhere inserted before he was kidnapped, he didn't dare try telepathy in an effort to make the Gullwinsg sterr clear of him as he thoguht to himself, happily, his inner thoughts were private. "Unless we had Fang, but knowing Shugo, he wouldn't use it since it changes him completely, a Sphere that change the person into something completely different..." He thought to himself, he'd have to wait and see what tomorrow would bring.

"Oi, what's your deal with us?" Yuji asked the man who kidnapped him as the cape wa snoticble and the white armor. "That is an question I will answer in the future until you and him become stronger, I wish to see your development into the warrior that holds two people in one form."

 

"You don't think he kidnapped Yuji, do you?" Lukya asked, as Barkeep walked up with a tray of drinks for everyone.

Yuna remained on the dock and looked at the stars. 'Yuji, please be safe until we come and save you.' She thought to herself, gripping her necklace.

 

"I've been going over it in my mind... it's the only connection I can think of.
and... well... you know me...
I've always had my instincts... something is just telling me this." Daichi told her.

 

"Right, yes, of course. Those instincts of yours never fail." Lukya smiled and nodded. Over the two past years, living together was gave both Lukya and Daichi the chance to learn more about each other, but she always knew that when his instincts told him something, they were usually right.

 

"I... I'm worried." Daichi told her, something he wouldn't ever admit to just anyone.
"I don't know what it is though...
there are too many things..."

 

"I don't think I told you, but whenever I was worried about something when I used to live in Guadosalam, Seymour would take me out into the bank of the Moonflow and we would look out at the stars. Then, we would try to figure how to solve the problem. Why don't we try that, here on the airship, going up to the dock?" Lukya said, looking at him.

 

"It's weird... you know...
Me and Luna did the same thing on Gagazet. Looking up at that many stars... it just seemed... I dunno... liberating?
... I often found myself staring at the stars during my travels alone for 10 years too.."

 

Lukya smiled and took his hand, guiding him to the dock and standing near Yuna. She looked out at the stars and smiled.

 

Daichi put an arm around Lukya's shoulders, bringing her close to him as he looked out at the stars. He immediately felt his worries starting to calm down.

 

Lukya smiled at him and looked at the stars. Yuna looked at the stars and smiled, wondering if Wakka and Lulu were doing the same thing. When she was little, her father used to take her out to look out at the stars and before they left with her father, Yuna did it one last time with Jecht and Auron. Kari was at the door, looking up at the stars with Rikku.

 

"whats wrong?" Gilgamesh said as he stopped walking and noticed Ryo looking up at the sky. "the stars" Ryo simply said as he gazed at the sky. "umm the stars?" Gilgamesh replied. "yeah they are beautiful outside today. It...reminds me of her...well excluding the annoying part" Ryo said with a smile as he continued to watch the star. Gilgamesh and Enkidu soon joined in and watched also. "I wonder how she is doing" Ryo muttered quietly

 

Morning came, and the Gullwings got ready to head for Mt. Besaid to save Yuji. Brother was crying manly tears as he told Yuna, "Yuna, please be careful. For my sake." "Will do, leader." Yuna said, smiling which Brother smiled back. Lockon sighed and took Maylene's hand. Yuna led the group to the peak of Mt. Besaid as the kidnapper requested with Shugo beside her. Kari stepped up and shouted, "Alright, mysterious kidnapper, we brought the one who holds the key to the library of Spira, where's Yuji?!"

 

Eternal had hsi legs bend as he stand atop on a mounted rock. "I said alone, just only allow the key to approach, and as for Yuji, ask him yourself." He said as Yuji was suspended above a tree over the mountainside as Eternal held the rope holding him with one hand.

"Damn you..." He said and Eternal ignored this rude comment. "No funny tricks or plans or I might accidently have the urge to relax my hand." he said, obivously calm a she was the one holding all of the advantages.

 

"Shugo, be careful." Yuna looked toward Shugo with a worried look, Kari put her hands behind her head, looking calm. Lukya gasped when she saw Yuji and stood calmly.

 

Shugo slowly approached the man. "Shugo, I told you I'll cut off our friendship if you went through with this!" He said and Shugo responded. "Go ahead, I won't let it happen through." he said as Eternal breathed a annoyed sigh.

"Is this some sort of drama? Please spare me all of it, I'll fall asleep at this rate, oops too late." He said and let go of the rope but Yuji didn't fall at it as it was strange.

"How?" he asked as an audible growl was heard and Yuji looked up at the branch as it was the small white dinosaur, fang as in it's open jaw was the rope, it was surpringly holding very well despite it being so small. "Fang?!" He said in surprise.

"Like you, I'm going to try and be reckless." Shugos tated and Yuji looked ta him immediately. "But...!" He started to say before remembering one time he said about making a plan along the way. "We'll just make a plan as we go along, I hope you're ready to go into the depths of Hell with me Yuji." He said and extended out his arm, hand open. "Come, Fang!" He said as Fang swung Yuji forth towards the other Gullwings and leapt towards Shugo's opffering hand as he transformed it into it's sphere state and Yuji's Joker Sphere vanished, reappearing on the belt of Shugo's left slot and he inserted it before sliding in Fang's.

"Don't do it, Shugo!" Yuji said desperately but Shugo spoke. "Transform." He said and opened the belt as small cyclone surrounded him with pieces of armor forming and the white and purpel clad warrior had returned as he yelled out as Yuji's eyes shut and fell to the ground as the Warrior charged at Eternal, pressing down on the horn of the dinosaur like face when Fang was in sphere state, extending his wrist fang into a larger one as Eternal brought up hsi Dagger to defend himself.

 

Yuna gasped at Shugo's transformation and went to Yuji, Kari shouted, "Don't do it, Yuna! Shugo could hurt you if you get near Yuji!!!!!!" Yuna stopped and looked at Kari, concerned for her teammates.

 

Teh berserk warrior held his Arm Fang agaisnt teh dagger whiel punched Eternal at the stomach with his free arm as the left eye flashed, Yuji's voice sounded. "Oi, calm down shugo, OI!" He said and tooka moment to breathe. "I see, this is Shugo when he's afraid!" he said as Eternal kicked him away and moved fast, the berserk warrior's eyes following imeediately as Eternall mvoed behidn Yuna with not much time for her to react and wrapp a arm wound her neck and spoke. "You're expendable." he said as the berserk warrior charged at Yuna.

"Yuna, damnit! Stop! he said but the warrior was paying no heed, Arm fang, coming to slice at Yuna's exposed head.

 

Daichi didn't think, he just moved.
He threw himself in front of Yuna, arms out stretched, ready to take the blow in her place.
You would never forgive me if I let something happen to her... right?

 

Yuna closed her eyes and tried to break free from Eternal's grip. "Daichi!!!!! Yuna!!!!!!!!" Lukya shouted, watching him going to defend Yuna. She looked away, Kari groaned and shouted, "Shugo, get to your senses!"

 

Yuji's voice rang out clear and loud. "STOP! PARTNER! he cried out as within the warrior's mind Yuji had his hand extended and found himself with a burning library. "Spira's Library? No, it isn't, it's Shugo's mind with fear that his knowledge is being burnt away...Shugo!" he called out as he walked among the aisle before noticing a small pile of book and moved them aside, seeing Shugo laying there.

"I knew you would find me..." He said with a bit of relief and Yuji reponded. "Of course, what are we?" he asked and Shugo gave a small smile as the two spoke. "A two-in-one hero!" They said as Shugo took yuji's offering hand and stood up as a spark was made between them and the burning library changed to it's white background and the books repaired as the two smiled

Back within the real world, a few seconds only passed as the Arm Fang paused at Daichi's neck. "I'm all right now." Shugo's voice spoke and he moved Daichi out of the way to punch Eternal right in the face and freed Yuna from hsi grasp as Eternal backed away and the white arm cupped its imaginary chin with the purple arm's side holding the whit eone up, almost as if it were in thought. "Now, are you ready to count your sins?" the dual voice of Shugo and Yuji spoke.

"...That depends... let's see how you two do in a controlled state." Eternal said and the left eye flashed as yuji's voice was heard. "You heard him partner, Guys, look after my body will you? Let's go!"" he said as the two warriors clashed.
