Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Yuji rubbed his hair and spoke. "It seems new yevon and the league aren't exactly on best of terms in friendship." he said as he heard Claire's words and he looked at them, hand sin pockets. ""Well, if you don't mind me asking but who are you two and suddenly offer to help the Gullwings?" he asked and he heard something as he brought the commuicator to his ear. "What is it partner?" He asked and waved at Yuna to continue the coversation as he walked away and nodded. "Good work."

He looked at a familar clown and he approached him. "My partner's curious about you clown." he said to him.

 

Gilgamesh groaned as he held his head in frustration "why must you all call me a clown. I am the greatest swordsman of all time not some humorous comic relief " Gilgamesh said. Enkidu just closed his eyes, looked down and shook his head

 

"I think all of us here... well us of the original Team Besaid know who the greatest Swordsmen of all time really was."

"Who?" Maylene asked from Lukya's side.

"...Sir Auron."

"That is true... I saw him when fiends attacked the Blitz sphere two years ago... of course, there's the legend about him too."

"Of course..." Daichi looked down at the yellow ribbon on his arm. "He wasn't bad with a sword either.
And well... My skills shouldn't be ignored for that matter." Daichi added.

 

Devln heartily ignored them for a long moment, "Lady Claire....I know she's your High Summoner, but--" Claire broke into his words, "Shhh! Lady Yuna, we want to help, honest. Come, follow me!" She started for a side path in the woods and Devln rolled his eyes, "Ignored, again....well the more people we have to take care of New Yevon, the better. I don't want to fight all them, so maybe you guys can figure out a way around them." he smirked, following his lady.

 

"Say that to your make-up artist." Yuji said as the others already went ahead "Let's get straight to the point before you decide to fight us again, you don't belong in this world do you? Daichi mentioned a legend about you but let's say me partner's curious about your origins since Spira's Library doesn't have any definite records of you apart from your arrival. I swear Shugo's addiction to knowledge needs a restraining order..." He said, crossing his arms.

 

"That's but one Legend Yuji, it might not belong to him...
There is without a doubt though, other realities and worlds to this one. Perhaps he really does come from one of them, but that is his business.
Come on, before we fall behind." Daichi beckoned him, following the others.

 

Gilgamesh crossed his arms "no I do not come from this world. I travel far and wide searching for weapons of legends" Gilgamesh said and looked at him with his white eyes "and I do not wear make up" Gilgamesh said

 

Before Lukya left with them, she found three dress-spheres laying near the group. She picked them up and followed the group, walking next to Maylene. She gave one to Yuna and another to Kari, while she kept the third for herself. With a sigh, Lukya looked around the forest, never having been in Kilika before. The group reached the temple, there was more shouting. "Which is why I keep telling you..." A temple priest said.

"Shut up. Just give us the sphere and we'll be on our way." Dona said, as calm as ever

"I don't know what you're talking about." The temple priest said, a man shouted, "Hey! I found the sphere!" "There you have it." Dona said, suddenly a rumbling was heard, Dona asked, "What's that?" YSLS-Zero appeared and scared many people away, the temple priest said, "I had a little something prepared for just such an occasion. Nice knowing you!" As it was about to attack, Kari was on its head, with a lance in her hands. She, Yuna, and Lukya were testing out the new dress-spheres Lukya found.

 

Yuji rubbed his hair as a force of habit. "Great, he's gonna jump in joy." he mumbled to himself and alked away as SHugo within the airship was having his eyes closed and looking up infomation as if nothing disturbed him.

 

As the girls tried out their sphere a wave of energy flew straight to the YSLS-Zero and cut threw it "Sorry for stealing your show girls" said the voice of Ryo. Ryo calmly walked out of the temple with a grin and his sword on his shoulder. "The sphere is all yours" Ryo said walking towards them and looked over at Dona who was confused and smirked "long time no see Dona" Ryo said recalling meeting Dona on his pilgramige

 

Yuna laughed at Dona's surprised look, Rikku shouted at the destroyed machina, "How did you like that?!" Kari sweatdropped, resting her lance on her shoulder, Yuna said to Ryo, "Not bad at all, Ryo!" Lukya and Paine were silent, Dona looked at Ryo and the Gullwings, she asked, "Just what do you think you're doing?" "Actually, we're all sphere hunters," Yuna said to her, Dona said, "So?" "Gullwings, let's go! Sorry, Dona, but as Ryo said, the sphere is ours." Yuna said, smiling, the airship appeared and the team left, Paine took the sphere from the man who dropped it, she said, "Tough luck."

On the airship, Rikku was overexcited, she said, "Did you see their faces at what Ryo did? They totally wet their pants!" "Maybe he overdid it?" Yuna said, Brother told them, ""Overdid it"? There is no such thing! The Gullwings shall be notorious throughout Spira!"

"They weren't all that happy." Kari said, Rikku was confused, "Huh?" "Lets don't forget that notoriety can be a bad thing." Lukya said, Brother said to her, "So what? I want to have fun!" "Just make sure you don't do anything to land us in hot water or bruise Lukya's status as respective of her people, okay?" Buddy said, Rikku pouted, "Awww... Where's the fun in being plain old regular sphere hunters?"

"Yeah! What she said!" Brother said, Kari facepalmed and Paine said, "Oh, no..." "What?" Yuna asked, confused.

 

Daichi stepped forwards to explain to Yuna.
He looked at Paine to make sure he had assumed right. "Whenever Rikku and Brother agree...bad stuff happens."

 

Yuna sweatdropped, "That..... can't be good." "It never is." Kari said, getting into her seat. Lukya looked toward Shinra, who was analyzing the sphere, "How'd the sphere analyzing go?"

 

Ryo smirked as he crossed his arms and watched the Gullwings take off "you owe me" Ryo yelled and noticed all the angry glares he was getting "ummm...I'm going to go now" Ryo said and ran away.

As Ryo continued to run he noticed Gilgamesh up ahead and ran up to him. "Ahh Ryo there you are have you claimed the sphere as ours?" Gilgamesh asked. "nope gave it to the Gullwings" Ryo said casually "w-wh-what? why would you go off and give away something like that?" Gilgamesh said completely confused. "well number one, from what I analyzed from the sphere it wouldn't be much help for our cause, number two is that it would give us a lot of unnecessary attention from the Youth and new Yevon leagues and third..." Ryo said as he suddenly looked serious and stared at the sky "its an important sphere Yuna should watch" Ryo said.

Gilgamesh sighed a bit upset that the sphere was not theirs but looked over at Ryo "say Ryo are you alright?" Gilgamesh asked. "huh? what are you talking about?" Ryo asked confused. "well earlier I met the gullwings and they said that you forgot your girlfriend yet remember that Yuna girl...are you cheating on her" Gilgamesh said crossing his arms and gave Ryo a disappointed gaze. "wait what the? I'm not cheating on her. I've only encountered her and the gullwings at the temple area. What would give them the idea that I would forget her?" Ryo said crossing his arm in confusion

 

Yuji sighed. as SHinra spoke. "Got it... let's play this then..." he said as he played the Sphere.

 

Everyone gathered around Shinra, wondering what was on the sphere that Ryo would just give it to them. Kari gripped her chest and sighed. Aqua held Starlight and looked at the screen.

 

Yuji looked at the screen as there was a huge machine shown and athe man. "You're all I need to save Lenne." he said and the sphere shut down.

 

"Fryd eh Spira ec dryd machina?" Brother said, scared. The moment Aqua saw the man's face, she whispered something and fainted. Starlight hovered over her, worried, Yuna picked her up in her arms. Buddy asked Shinra, "Any ideas?" Kari gripped her chest, Lukya gasped at the image. Rikku and Paine were silent.

bic: Devln was impressed with the girls' strength, having stayed out of the battle to keep Claire safe, he now faced a mob of angry people. "Ah...hey now...this isn't our fault." Bearing their accusations and finally the words he hated, "We thought you were with New Yevon Lady Claire." Devln watched Claire's face drop, "Well....I...." "Hey, leave her alone! We're not with anybody." More yelling and Devln sighed, dragging Claire away from them. "Your precious High Summoner is gone now Claire. Some day you'll realize she can't fix the world as easily as bringing down Sin. With the Youth League and New Yevon on our tails, we can't stay to rest here."

 

While waiting for Shinra's answers, Yuna cradled Aqua in her arms and Rikku whispered to her, "Yunie...it's him." 'Is it you? Or does he just look like you?' Yuna thought to herself, Brother said in Al Bhed, "U tyr'd mega drec cbrana," before Yuna glanced at Aqua, thinking, 'And...who's this "Lenne"?'
