Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Daichi suddenly punched Dean and then looked away innocently.
"What?
...I owed you...
...and I did tell you that I'd get you back."

"...Youch... I guess you shouldn't have bragged about it in front of him, huh?" Haruka said to Dean, bending over him slightly to see if he was okay.

 

Dean instictively sidestepped when Daichi's fist so happily connected with air. "Not bragging, just saying." He answered to Haruka. "Anyway, where's that sphere...?" He asked no-one in paticuclar.

 

The group reached the area with the sphere, Rikku smiled, "Aha! Found you!" A shaking was heard and a large fiend appeared, Paine whispered, "We're not alone." "Think we need a password?" Rikku asked, as everyone took out their weapons, Kari smiled and said, "How about 'kick...its...ass.'"

 

"And if that password is wrong...." Dean summoned Twin Fenrir back to his arms. "Open wide and swallow." He said getting into stance.

Yuji became the green and prupel clad warrior with Shugo's sphere.

 

Kari tried the new dressphere Issaru gave them, and changed into a more feril looking form. Over her right leg was a cloth, her old shirt was tore at various places and Yu Yevon's symbol was glowing brightly on her chest. Her back was bare, revealing the Zanarkand Abes symbol. She wielded the transformed versions of her blitzball and arm claw.

 

"...The final Aeon form..."

Um... isn't that bad?"

OOC: I love the difference in reaction between Haruka and Maylene. :P

 

"I thought you saw the memory, Haruka. Besides, I'm the only person who survived becoming the Final Aeon. Ryo would have been my summoner if I did fully become it. Thank Spira, he slapped some sense into me before I could." Kari tossed her ball and hit the Guardian Best.

 

"But I mean, should you still be able to become it?
I mean... are Dress-spheres really that powerful?"

"I guess they are.
Either way... looks like I can take this fight easy.
Looks like beast girl can take care of things here." Maylene said casually, not having forgotten the pink fur ball comment from before.


OOC: She's not being mean, she's just teasing much in the same way Kari was joking with her.

 

"Hard to say. Maybe the dress-sphere is taking on my Final Aeon form." Kari said as she slashed at it with Rikku. Lukya held her katana in the inverted style and attacked, Yuna gripped the Brotherhood and attacked. Aqua tossed her boomerang.

 

Dean fired off a few rounds as Yuji's form swapped for thr Trigegr Sphere and combined it with Cyclone's power, effectively shooting out bullets with the force of wind behind it, accelerating it.

 

Kari performed a Split Calm with Lukya using Bad Breath on the Guardian Beast. Yuna used Assault with Paine, while Aqua performed The Darkest Star on it, hoping to blind it.

 

"Ahhh the blue seas...the nostalgia" Gilgamesh said watching out at the sea as the stood in a boat. "the seas must bring back good memories" Ryo said as he looked out as well. Gilgamesh nodded "of course it does. Back in my world I fought against my greatest foes out in the open seas" Gilgamesh said as he looked up at the sky and raised his fist "how I long to return to my world and face my chosen rival Bartz" Gilgamesh said with determination Ryo smiled "I wouldn't mind facing this Bartz guy. But until then we have a job to do right?" Ryo said. Gilgamesh nodded "to seek the greatest blade and become the greatest swordsmen of all time" Gilgamesh yelled out. Ryo laughed "thats right now off to Kilika. There is rumor of an amazing sphere over there and we are going to take it" Ryo said as the boat sailed to Kilika

 

Kari beat the Guardian Beast and walked up to the altar, however it was only half a sphere, Rikku whined, "What? It's only half a sphere." Kari sighed, reverting back to normal, Paine said, "All that...for nothing." "Well, it can't hurt to take it with us." Lukya said, grabbing the sphere fragment. Yuna sighed, "I can't believe how much this place has changed. We'll see you later than, Dean." She waved goodbye to him as they headed for the airship.

 

Dean raised a hand as a farewell and rubbed his hair. "Now then, what should I do, explore these ruins further?" He asked himself as a otable growl was heard behind him. "Guess that answers my question." He said witha small smirk and turned around, guns appearing as he headed into battle.

Yuji looked at the sphere fragment as SHugo did too when they returned. "Interesting, I never imagined there could be an existing half of a sphere, does this mean we need to find the other piece?" Shugo asked and Yuji nodded. "It'll be a pain to find a mtaching sphere though partner." He said in reponse.

 

"Ehlusehk tydy! Gullwings, du ouin cdydeuhc!" Brother shouted in Al Bhed, both he and Buddy sounded excited as Buddy said, "Rao, yfacusa." "What's awesome?" Kari asked, Buddy reported, "We're getting reports of an "awesome sphere"? Looks like it's already drawn quite a crowd. The reports are from Kilika Woods." "I want that sphere!" Yuna shouted, Rikku smiled, "It's as good as ours! Let's scramble!" "Who is the leader? I am! I give the orders around here!!" Brother shouted, Paine said, "We're listening." "Let's go! Party! Party!" Brother shouted and the airship flew to Kilika.

 

Yuji resisted the urge to facepalm himself. "And he's our captain right?" he asked to anyone and got a look from haruka. "I'm kidding, Brother's always like that and well, he gets that childish from Rikku I think." he said thoughtfully

"Awesome sphere? It can't be Fang... could it?" Shugo said aloud, cupping his chin in the process. "I highly doubt it, it doesn't attract attention to itself.

 

Lukya sighed and rubbed her hair, Starlight jumped onto her shoulder and rubbed his head against her cheek. She smiled and petted his head, "Guys, don't sound alarmed, but this 'awesome sphere' may have something to do with Aqua's or Haruka's hidden pasts." "Good point, there, Lukya." Kari said. "Lets get to Kilika and get that sphere before a certain duo then."

 

Haruka felt excited at the thought of this 'awesome sphere'
"Woo! Let's go! I'm gonna kick some ass this mission!"

 

Lukya sighed and smiled, watching the clouds pass. Aqua looked up at her and asked, "Do you really think that sphere will help me or Haruka?" "It's just a thought, but I do." Lukya knelt down and looked at Aqua, "I really want to know what you and Haruka were like you lost your memories, Aqua. I'm sure the others do to, especially Yuna."

 

"To be honest... I doubt we were very different... sure we might not have our memories. But we're still the same people right?" she gave a warm smile towards Aqua as she said this.
"Aqua would have been just as cute and I... probably just as crazy." she laughed.
