Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Kari groaned and facepalmed, "Should have known that old man had something to do with this." "What in the name of Spira is Pops thinking?" Rikku said, Yuna sighed, "I understand, Issaru. But, still... I never wanted anyone else to stand there." She looked at the top of the hill, faintly seeing him and watched as he turned to her, but she couldn't see his face anymore. Lukya ran farther into the city, crying hard.

 

"Who..?" Issaru begun to ask and Dean spoke. "Well, I think... Yuna should talk with Cid about this and her feelings on this." He suggested and rubbed his blue hair a bit.

"...I will not ask, but I must be off." Issaru stated adn left as Dean breathed. "It's not a surprise that this happened, Cid didn't take in account that these ruins once had many Summoners and Guardians sacrifced everything here and the people never bothered to check the Ruins beforehand, as if they forgotten what happened here." Dean said and crossed his arms.

 

"Lukya!" Daichi glared at Isaaru once more.
"I'll be back, she's tough. But it's not safe alone." Daichi told the others and ran off after Lukya.

"Hey... where did Maylene go?"
She looked after Daichi and saw a blur of pink was somewhere in front of him.
"...she's fast."

 

Kari sighed, touching her chest, before asking Dean, "So, wanna come with us to find the little princess?" "Okay, Kari, why did you call Lukya 'little princess'?" Lockon asked, Kari smiled, "It's her cute nickname."

OOC: While this is true, there is also a reference to the book, The Little Princess, which the events in FA somehow connects to the events in the book.

 

Dean rubbed his hair. "Might as well, very tough monsters usually roam here." He said and he realized somethign and chuckled lightly. "It's almost as if we're becoming Team Besaid again." He thought to himself followed where Lukya went.

"Oh and Yuna, take your own group to find that sphere you guys found." He said and continued.

 

Kari smiled and followed, Yuna nodded and followed them.

Lukya ran up to the dome and found Pacce with two kids, following them. She gasped when a strong fiend appeared, she changed into her new dress-sphere, twin katanas appeared in her hands as she wore a long light pink coat with Ronso patterns, her shirt was a silver color, she wore black boots while her skirt was red. She held the katana in the same style as Daichi and attacked the fiend, defending Pacce and his group.

 

Maylene ran forwards and saw Lukya in her transformed state.
"...Luna?" she shook her head.
She jumped in the air and pulled her twin guns out.

 

Lukya smiled when she saw Maylene. "Maylene! Help me beat this thing!" She gripped her katana, holding them in the inverted style. Yuna ran up and smiled, watching Lukya fight with Maylene.

 

Dean walked and saw Lukya fight. "Guess she doesn't need help eh Kari?" He said and crossed his arms as Yuji nodded. "Women can be frightening in their own way." he whispered to Dean ear and he laughed lightly. " How true."

 

"Time to show the Gullwings what I can do!" she shouted as she twirled the guns in her hand.

She rushed forwards, using her small size to her advantage and sliding underneath the monster.
Shooting upwards mid-slide.
"Ruin-bullets!"

She flipped up to her feet once she was on the other side of the fiend.
Her fur raised slightly, her cat like ears giving the occasional twitch, and her fangs showing a little.

 

Lukya tapped into the Ronso Rage abilities in her dress and smiled, "AQUA BREATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She swayed at the fiend. Kari smiled, "Just wanted to make the little princess was alright, to her, this place holds a deeper meaning than all of us have."

 

Daichi watched.
He nodded at what Kari had said.
Then he sighed, looking at Lukya's new form... "That outfit... it's what Luna wore." he also noticed the weapons and fighting style were similar to his.
He saw why Maylene had been confused for a brief second.
He smiled. "Heh... that's my sister for you.. she always had to make things interesting."
He was also amazed that she was using Ronso Rage abilities, Dress-Spheres were definitely powerful.

 

Lukya held her katana and slashed one last time at the fiend before it fell. She sheathed her katana and noticed everyone. "Uh, hey, everyone...................." She blushed at Daichi, Yuna smiled and noticed Pacce and his group.

 

Dean rubbed his hair before taking notice of a presence. "..." He turned around and his guns were summoned to his hands ina brief flash as some extending sticks prodded out of it as a monster was hit. "Easy to notice." He said and walked forth towards it.

"Don't you need help?" Yuji asked and Dean shook his head, focused on the monster. "Nah, I got this, besides, it's been a while since I used Twin Fenrir." He said and fired a hail of bullets upon the creature before twirling the left gun in hsi hand and fired another shot before dashing forward, slicing through it with the extensions as the monster became pyreflies and he turned around.

"100 Years and these haven't gotten rusty at all, heh, Avril, you really did make a pair of afantastic ARMs." he thought to himself

 

"Heh, remind me... not to make you mad. You can kick my ass with my own moves now." he grinned.

"Lukya! Maylene! You two were awesome!"

Maylene blushed, her fur was no longer on end, and her tail was wagging happily.
"Thanks!
That was my Gun-Magic! I made it into a Gun-Mage Dress-sphere!"
She noticed Dean's guns! and ran up to him, excited like a little kid.
"Wow, those guns are awesome!"

 

Yuna smiled and led the group into the Chamber of the Fayth after learning the key word to finding the treasure from the Kinderguardians and one of LeBlanc's goons. There they found Cid, he smiled and said, "Welcome! Well, I'll be. If it isn't Yuna! Come to buy a clue from Uncle Cid, have you?" "Fryd yna oui drehgehk!" Rikku and Kari shouted at the same time, Cid asked, "Huh?" "Turning this place into a gift shop? Hello!" Kari said, ticked off, Cid asked, "What, you got a bone to pick?"

"You bet I do!" Yuna said, Cid asked her, "So, what's eatin' ya?" "Well, I can't really say, but... It's...just not right." Yuna said, Cid said, "Huh?" "It's like turning the ruins of Home into a theme park!" Rikku said, Cid sighed and said, "Huh? I see your point." He left and Yuna led the group into the chamber where Kari had received the 'special help', Yuna thought to herself, 'Two years ago, we cast off our beliefs here. Our false hope.'

 

Daichi looked around the area. He thought of Auron suddenly. How he had spurred them on right here to take control of their own stories.
He pulled out a small flask from his coat. Raised it to the sky and drank from it.

 

Dean laughed a bit nervously. "You are acting like two other people I know who said that my guns are amazing." He said and the guns hvanished in a flash of light, becoming particles.

 

Kari looked at her hands and clenched them, a symbol appeared on her chest than disappeared, pyreflies appeared, recreating the event that occurred two years ago. She heard her young self shout, "Sorry to disappoint you, Lady Yunalesca. But..... Who the hell do you think I am?! In case you're unaware, me and one of my friends are Al Bhed! Like becoming the Final Aeon will give my people the respect and honor they deserve! Thanks to everyone, including Ryo, I know now the reason we have come. To stop the endless cycle you bring! So, sorry, I'm not becoming the Final Aeon today!" Lukya, Yuna, and Rikku watched the fight and smiled.

 

"Of course! Such craftsman-ship. Such power. Such a style of wielding!
Whoever made them must be incredible!" Suddenly she realised something...
"Wait a sec... you're Dean? But I thought you had whi-"
Suddenly Haruka covered her mouth. "I thought that too... but... let's not go there kay?"
Maylene nodded and she was released.
"Well, um... I'm Maylene! I like Guns and Machina and stuff.
I may look like a girly girl. But... well... okay I still am, but a girl can have hobbies." she purred.
